Way back in this thread I posted about adding a air reducer to that 5 mm hole under the coil. Now I have changed that to one with a 2 x 4 mm slit inline with the coil, I feel I got a goings on here now....LOL
Got my ss and black serpents yesterday. I was skeptical at first. But after a bit of tinkering, I have found that I really like the performance and look of the tank.

I figured you would like em. I have 2 stainless ones and like them.My favorite part is the juice-flow control. I never have to restrain myself if I'm wanting to chain-vape! LOL! Just open it up a little more, and no more dry/burned hits.Plus it's easy to fill, it's not too noisy, and it looks good. They, I mean. I got a black one and a SS one, too. I'd like to get some more!

I mostly use them on my Kato box clone.
I agree. The juice flow control is very nice. I only get 10 min breaks at work so I tend to vape like a fiend to get my nic fix.My favorite part is the juice-flow control. why I always get a stainless finish on my attys. And you were right.I wish they'd done a better paint job on the black one, though. It arrived with several small (very tiny, but noticeable) chips in the paint, which looks to be exactly ONE coat thick. But I don't care, because I love the performance.

Wide open the Serpent is a bit less restrictive than the Subtank Mini.So how would you compare the Serpent to the STM RBA as far as the air flow control.
I fired up the STM RBA in a Kraken V2 tank last night and vaped it along side a mini nautilus with the VVTF RBA. I still prefer the mtl restrictive draw and flavor of the nautilus RBA, but the STM was still decent with the airflow almost all the way shut. I have a Serpent on the way, but I wonder if its even possible to dial down the airflow to my liking.
You can probably

I suspect it can be used MTL but not what is is really made for.
does the mini have the same size build deck as the original but just a smaller chamber?Yeah but they have 15% off now with the CC DAD.....
Just ordered another Tobeco Velocity mini from them. under $9 using the 15% off CC 'DAD'.
