How many wraps? Taking notes until mine comes. Thanks!
5 Wraps. On a 3mm rod. They expand slightly after the wind. Very close to the posts, but not touching.

Threw a build in last night - 25 awg NiFe52, 2.6 mm, 7 wraps spaced, with rayon, came out to .21 Ω. So far, very impressed with the tank... compared to the aromamizer, I didn't expect it to fully match the flavor level being single coil vs dual coil, and while it doesn't quite make it, it's really close and the vapor production/density is extremely close as well. I primarily got this to be a 'running errands around town' tank for a VTC mini I just picked up and it's an absolutely perfect fit.

Nice looking setup LandMan!

The base of the Serpent threaded onto it perfectly. No way to check the top because you would have to destroy the JFC section of the Serpent in order to get the top off.

Hmmm. Maybe I'm not getting how the upper sections disassemble. Sounds like the Kayfun tank will not work as a replacement.

Thanks for checking. :thumb:

Just ordered the Serpent! Can't wait to get it. Also ordered some of the wotofo fused clapton coils - curious to see how those perform.
I have used the Wotofo fused claptons. I can honestly say they preform really well.

Awesome!! Thanks for letting me know. That's great news. I figured at a price of 1.99 for 5 of them that it wouldn't be a disaster if they weren't great. My alternative was 10 bucks for a set of really nice custom made fused claptons at a local store or to wrap some 22 gauge coils myself which I wasn't looking forward to (really hard to bend that wire around a screw driver although I ordered a kuro coiler clone too - ha, they clone everything apparently).

I put another build in mine tonight and am much happier with it. I went with a 2.4mm ID, 8 spaced wraps of 27ga kanthal. This time I paid closer attention to the height of the coil over the air hole and brought it down some, as suggested.

Not a cloud chaser's build, but gave me just what I was looking for. Getting a nice warm, tasty vape from it at 25 Watts.

I loved all the features of this tank when I first saw it, but had a concern whether or not it would have to much airflow for my style of vaping. (The aromamizer was a major disappointment for me) I was pleased to find that while it has HUGE airflow, it can be tuned down to taste without a bunch of whistling and wheezing.

The Serpent seems to have whole package of features, and is well designed and constructed. Nicely done, Wotofo.

First time ordering from Eciggity and i already like them. My tank arrived onto a main land on the second day. ymmv
My Lemo Drop, has served me well for the past year, it will receive an honorable discharge with top honors. The little tank that it could, has taught me many things about coils and wicking.

Time to make some twisted wire.

I saw a couple reviews for this tank that really got my attention. I kept thinking, that's how I vape! That's perfect for me! But, money is tight so I came over here to see what others were saying. Thanks to everyone in this thread for totally talking me into it hehe. I just ordered mine from 101. :)

I was rebuilding yesterday and noticed how absolutely fantastic the threading is on this puppy. The workmanship on the Serpent is really top notch! Thanks Wotofo for a superbly machined atty!
Congrats to all who have just placed their orders...may the USPS gods be kind to you.

Glad you found the setup that is to your liking. I found this atty to really respond to even the slightest variations in builds. It is built to be tweaked and can be dialed in to a variety of set ups.
