I ordered from Eciggity at 29.99, which seems to be a bit more than I was able to find it at other places but I've heard good things about Eciggity. I also ordered last night around 7 p.m. eastern and I almost immediately got a shipping confirmation/tracking number which was impressive.

Edit: actually just looks like they printed the shipping label/USPS got confirmation which was all that could be expected.

mine always gurgling and leak, i only open the juice flow a little
i use 10 wraps nichrome80 26AWG on 3mm bit, got it at 0.98 Ω
can anyone show me your wick, kind of confuse about the wicking part
i used to use kayfun v4 and goliath v2, the goliath v2 is hell of a job to wick it properly, but once you did it, it's delivered a very very good vaping experience (for direct lung hit, not so good for mouth to lung IMO)

Andreariana, if you go to the first entry on page 1 of this thread there is a link to a video review. At 9:30 in that video he shows how he wicks it. I do a similar wicking with a little bit more on the deck and just a tiny amount in the top edge of the actual juice channel. I am putting my wick in very snug into my coil. If you are getting gurgling, you may need to turn up the watts some to make sure the juice is getting vaporized.

Can you take a pic of your build and wick set up?

I put a generous amount of wick in the coil kinda snug. Then cut the tails about even with the deck. Fluff the ends almost like pancake wicking then let the chimney place them where they naturally fall when I screw it into the base. I don't try to push them down or mold them into the channels it just seems to worm that way and I've yet to have a problem. When I remove the base to inspect or change the wicks they always seem to be laying perfectly right at the top of the juice channels.

Major, that sounds just right to me. I just kind of fluff and push the wick out of the way of the threads...the chimney kind of pushes a tad into the juice channels...just a tad. I don't ever try and fill the channels. Let the juice come up to the wick on the deck pretty much.

Happy New Year All!

I just found this after getting tired with building dual coil. I have few questions here, anyone kind to share below:
1. How does it fare on the height in comparison with Subtank Mini? And mind to share a photo of it?
2. Does anyone have other wotofo product which is colored like their RDA lines? Does the color fade or get scratches easily? I am interested with the black but alittle concern over the inner coated color in within the tank.
3. I think I have read it somewhere someone posted that the airflow in this is greater than subtank mini. Is that true?

Thanks in advance!

Jerry,
I do not have any of the other Wotofo attys so I can not speak about the paint quality. I personally avoid painted attys just out of caution. No experience with them.
The Serpent has more airflow than the Subtank Mini, has a better deck and is top quality construction. Excellent machining and threads. I think it is slightly taller than the STMini due to the nub on the top cap. But that is functional to turn the Juice Control and if you look at the pictures, you can see that it is a clean, classic look. Just very smooth looking. Good design. The vapor and flavor on this is much better than the STMini in my opinion. Depending on your build.

Subtank plus, Serpent, Subtank mini, Melo2
Serpent already replaced the mini. ( just not enough air ) Love that Melo for fruit liquids.

I have the wotofo sapor rda in black with green spatter. Finish is flawless. No chipping or peeling at all. Very durable. The serpents retired all my STM's and possibly my morph tanks soon. I don't have any desire to use anything but the serpent. It's that good! IMHO

Anyone looking to buy a Serpent, or another one, or another one, or another one....101 Vape has them on sale for $22.39.

That's the best price I've seen so far. Of course for 22 bucks I had to order a 4th!! lol

Off topic but I just tried a STM Clapton pre-built coil and must say I'm impressed.

After reading your post I bought another one! Although I am on my way home now to get my first one out of my mailbox.... LOL. Hope I like the first one enough to warrant buying a 2nd one! Oh the things I do.... LMAO

Well, after washing it out I decided to be lazy and use the coils that came with it. I wish that the post holes were lined up like a normal deck cause they're kind of a pain in the ....! I finally got the coil mounted, which read around .54 & wicked it with rayon. Put it on my new Paps v4 & really like it. Good flavor & vapor production. After a few builds I'm sure it'll be easier to mount the coil. Good purchase as far as I'm concerned.

Glad you like it Highwayman! (Since you ordered another one...LOL) Yes, the coiling gets much easier once you have done it a couple of times. Keep the legs short before mounting. Also, I use needle nose pliers to put a little bend in mine for the second leg (whichever leg you mount 2nd) and it pops right in. Try a Clapton in this thing. You won't regret it. Keep the screwdriver in the coil (or whatever you twist the coil on) so you can really pull the legs tight after inserting them. When you have them pulled tight, just bend it back on the exit side of the post, and tighten it down. Wick. Vape. Vape. Vape....
