Just dry burned and rewicked Serpent after a half dozen tanks on my first build. It's been working flawlessly so I thought I'd post the build before I reassemble.

I never close the AFC or JFC when refilling, and have had zero leaks and zero dry hits with 80% VG juice (NET) and ~1mm wick in the juice channels. Coil is a Kanthal Clapton 26/32, 3.5 mm, 3/4 wraps, .55 ohm. Nothing fancy, but works really well.

Hope this helps someone.

Wow, that is super fluffy. What type Cotton is that?

J-cotton. It's a big coil so there's a good bit of it. It's just fluffed out and trimmed, hardly thinned at all. One nice thing about the Serpent deck is you can spread the wick ends out rather than crowding them around the juice channels. That gives you a hell of a lot of juice capacitance in the wick.

Have any of you seen that gearbest is having a flash sale on these. $18.99 for either SS or black. I ordered 2. Now to wait for the slow boat to get them here.

Your right about that... I ordered my first serpent from gearbest and it took 4 weeks to get here. Not a bad price if you don't mind the wait.

I also have one on the way from eciggity. That way I can learn the quirks of these before the other 2 arrive.

How often do you guys change your Clapton coils? Just dry burn & reuse until?
Heart, I dry burn and rewick for about 6-7 days and then change my Clapton out. I see a noticeable difference from the fresh coil when I first put it in. The nice thing is it is so easy to pop a new one in. I do vape NET tobacco juices so that is a little "harder" on the coil I guess. Even though the coil is working fine after a week, I believe the repeated dry burn process alters the surface of the wire and degrades the taste after a while. That could be pure imagination on my part though.

Just took delivery of my serpent today with a new cuboid mod. Through in a quick .4 twisted coil about 6 wraps coming in at 0.46 ohms, wicked and running at 40w, nice flavour, good clouds, stupidly good airflow.

I can see this becoming my goto setup

So far so good, just got to get use to the juice flow control as this is my first RTA top fill and with juice flow control, didn't have it closed fully when I topped it up earlier so had juice coming out the air holes but a little trial and error and I am sure I will get it right

Hello. It's my first post here but I need some fast help.
Yesterday I was cleaning my Serpent for the first time and the SMALLEST o'ring felt down on the floor. I have no idea, where to put it back? Could you help me with that? I haven't got any user manual in the box, and can not find any in the internet. My serpent is legit, I've asked WOTOFO, but they didn't answer me.

I'm sorry for grammar mistakes.

I ment the tiny one. There's mid one underside the top cap. :(

EDIT: I've looked in the spares. There're 4 sizes of translucent ones. Still mean the smallest one.
It fits underside of 510, but like I've said before - I was doing first dissassembly for cleaning when I've found it on the floor so I don't know the proper place for it.

So let's get a bit more precise on that tiny one that goes under head of the reverse threaded 510 screw, it's 1 x 1 mm.
I'm glad you figured out where it goes.
Edit: I have corrected the size used, I have been known to get sideways on occasion.
