Oh I'm not in a hurry [emoji2] I'm only concerned with DOAs.

I already have 5 attys and 3 mods, which I purchased locally in Aus. If I am to make a bigger hobby out this, I can not afford to spend between $50-90 on each item [emoji20]

I didn't realize you were in Australia. Might not take as long to get to you from China. Check out eciggity. They are based in Hawaii. I think they sell it for about 25.00 with the 10percentoff coupon code. Not sure what the shipping would be for you but the have top notch customer service and fastest shipping I've ever seen.

Where are you guys finding the Serpent so cheap? Please don't say FT.
I got mine @ Everzon.com they're in China but I received in 5 biz days to USA. It is now $23.80, 3fvape.com has it for &24.99 & free shipping. I've ordered from them a few times usually takes about a week & a half to USA.

this tank is so nice i bought two of them, its hands down my favorite tank, beats out all the dual coil tanks and better flavor than alot of the flavor tanks
I loved it so much I have 4 of them. lol. My ehpro bachelor is running a close second and now I just ordered the aromamizer rdta yesterday. Still chasing the dream of the perfect tank but it's gonna be hard to top the serpent

i've heard there are conductivity issues with the black one, is this true? or anyone else know, looks like theres a version that they painted the threads and a version where they were careful to not paint them.

I have 2 black ones. No conductivity issue but manipulating the AFC and JFC were stiff due to the paint. My SS ones are buttery smooth

I've had the same experience with my 2 black ones. I can't turn the AFC control on one of them with out using pliers. I'm sticking to the SS Serpents.

Ok, 2+ weeks with mine, and no issues whatsoever. I solved the weeping issue for the most part by wicking a bit tighter, and using a chunkier coil. I haven't had it dump its tank on me yet, and haven't needed the oring on the JFC. LOVE this tank!

After several futile attempts to get this tank working nicely, I was finally able to get a great vape. I installed a 7 wrap SS316L, 24g spaced coil measuring 0.35 Ohms and wicked it using less cotton than I had in the past. I'm finally getting great flavor and the perfect airflow from the build, and it's working nicely in TC. I think I was using too much wick previously which was choking off some airflow and muting the flavor.

hi i've been using my serpent for a week now and i'm loving it! although i have some leaking problems...not when filling, just random leaks through the airholes. i don't think it runs through the chimney connection because it leaks as well when the juice is below that line. i have tried many wicking methods and different JC openings.

i'm running out of ideas on how to deal with it. hope you guys can help me out thanks!

What PG/VG ratio are you vaping?

alright, i'll buy a high vg juice to try...but damn that sucks if ever coz i only vape 1brand and 1flavor
Myself and others are using 50/50 with no problems. I recommend playing around with you wicking before trying a new juice. Just my 2 cents. Whoops, I see now that you have tried different wicking. Sorry, not sure what to recommend now.

I also mainly vape 50/50 juices because that's the way I mix them and for me they give the flavour I like, but all three of my serpents occasionally leak.
I've tried all different set ups but still on occasion they decide to leak.
I have also installed an extra o ring to the bottom of where the juice control section goes, and the strange thing is even with the juice control totally closed I still can vape the serpent without any dry hits at all.
Which leads me to believe, that even with the juice control at the allegedly close position this is not really the true case, and that there is still a gap there.
But apart from these issues, the serpent is still one of my favourite tanks, as it gives me the best flavour I had from a tank atomizer.

Still I believe that they can be improvements in the design of this tank, and I would love to see them come out with a slightly improved version. :)

I, like a lot of others on this thread, love the Serpent tank. Great vaping experience IMO. The bad thing is I can't seem to get the damn thing to quit leaking when I'm out and about. I'll reach in my pocket after walking for a bit and what do I get....juice all over my hands! This happens regardless of whether I've just filled it, or if it was filled an hour or so beforehand. None of my other tanks do this, but they're not RTA's either. The other tanks I use are the Atlantis 2 and the Triton 2. It's gotten to the point where I barely use the Serpent anymore because I don't want to deal with the leaking issues. Has anyone else experienced this, and if so have you found a way to prevent this?

I haven't really had that problem, but as with any RTA, if its leaking its either a bad seal somewhere, or your wicking. I'd check all your o-rings, make sure none are tore up, take note of the o-ring in the topcap, and base as those would be the most logical place for a bad seal.
