Great replies! I'm sorry but, the one who says NO in all categories just seemed to hate that a lot of people like Provari. IMHO.
I do not own a Provari but, will get one. I call BS as far as calling those who love a proven product Fanboys. That is obviously meant as an insult or, blow off, without considering the facts. BIG YES to compare devices in the same class. I'm sure there are many more reasons but, three huge reasons I hear folks saying is, 1. Customer Service, 2. Built like a tank, 3. Consistent vape.
I have not heard any praises about warranty and customer service with any other devices. Some may have their experiences but, That is not an overwhelming theme. Are you aware, can you believe, that a huge amount of people HATE let's say the Yankees (baseball and USA:blush:) because they of their accomplishments??? I'm talking 'mature' adults! I'll bet there are those who hate the fact Provari is made in the USA also. Just for that horrible reason.
There's a connection in there somewhere, however random!! :)

If you hang out in REOville you will hear the same praises for customer service, support and built like a tank about REOs as you do about Provaris but I would not compare the 2 in any other way. One is a bottom feeder box mod and the other a regulated tube mod.

That's the Innokin iTazte 134.
Kinda cool lookin.
There's a mini now too, I think.

I think all reviews should be compared to the gatling gun. Kidding. I saw that thing in the store today and it's huge! I've never seen a Provari. How does the size of it compare to the gun? And yes, I realize that's not the actual name of it. I just can't even begin to remember what it's called lol. It looks cool. I'd totally rock one if it was smaller. What does this have to do with the Provari? Nothing. I just felt like mentioning it because I have it on the brain. :D

LOL. But my PERSONAL EXPERIENCE is:
a) I have cruise control, and don't use it.
b) I also have both an automatic and a stick, and I LIKE driving a stick shift
c) In real life, I didn't find VW to really save me any trouble - I'd still put the topper on the device, and adjust a little to taste. The concept of VW automating the voltage makes logical sense - but it didn't eliminate anything, after all. Too many other variables (juice, climate, my mood, what I'm drinking) mean that I'm still gonna sometimes want 8 watts, sometimes 8.5, or sometimes 4 volts sometimes 4.2. As long as I can easily adjust one or the other, I'm good.

Presumably there's no point having cruise control in a car either, because you can just use the pedal?

If all reviews were against the ProVari, which seems like a logical thing to do, all of the ProVari haters would have to admit that their "is no single best" is bogus.

There is always a best, and in this case, everyone knows what it is.

Your theory sucks.

I'm not a provari hater, and I think it's a great device. But when things are working like they should, my Vision Spinner 1300 gives the exact same thing as the provari.

The provari has advantages, no doubt. Much nicer look, feel, and certainly more durable. But it's also 10 times as expensive. And the vast majority of the time, it gives me the exact same result.

I like to go out dancing. Country dancing. Two stepping. And I spend most of my night on the dance floor, with my PV sitting on my table. If I have a $200+ mod, it's likely to disappear, and likely to piss me off when it does. With my Vision Spinners, it's less likely that my PV will disapear, and I'm out a small fraction of that $200+ if it happens.

You can tell me all you want about "This is the best, so everyone should love it", but you're an idiot for thinking nobody should consider anything else.

All your Provari is doing is delivering battery power to something else. The "something else" matters a lot more than how the power gets there, but that Provari is almost always the expensive part of making it happen.

I tend to agree that "The provari is the best". But nobody who actually thinks stops at that point, because it's not the only point. Cost is a consideration. Risk of losing it (having it stolen) is a consideration. The fact that I can get a vape that works out exactly the same from a $25 battery as your $200+ mod is a consideration.

Yet another thread that has degenerated into the ProVari lovers and haters beating on each other. Go figure.

In general I agree with your post, but I haven't seen a provari hater in this thread yet (and although I've been called one, I'm not. A bit annoyed by some die hard provarianatis though).

"Yet another thread that has degenerated into the ProVari lovers and haters beating on each other. Go figure."

Sorry to disappoint but, I don't think that happened in this thread.

Well let's change that STAT! IT'S ON LIKE DONKEY KONG!!!:p

1.) It's ugly.

I can't stand PV's that have the name imprinted/stamped in them. It resembles a portable Discman from the 90's with "Sony" imprinted in the metal casing.

2.) One button menu/scrolling.

Don't argue with me... that's not a feature. I remember watching reviews for it, and 9x out of 10 the reviewer will accidentally click past what they were trying to access. You have to consciously keep track of and count clicks. Want to go up from 3.6V to 4.0V? CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... wait for it... okay vape. Wanna go down from 4.0V to 3.6V? CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... wait for it... okay vape.

OMG... wanna check the resistance? CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK.

Doesn't anybody over at Provape know that 13 is an unlucky number? That no buildings in the city have a floor #13?

3.) Crappy display

In no way should the new standard for displays be the DNA20 that displays resistance, voltage, wattage, and battery life at the same time. Nahhhhhhhh......

4.) 3.5A limit + 18490 + price point = Weak-sauce.

5.) No Variable Wattage

So what if you have to check the resistance to start off.... 13 clicks that's what. CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... wait for it... okay. Raise the voltage..umm.. 5 clicks; CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK... wait for it... wait for it...

6.) Provape's Pièce de Résistance; the Provari Mini.

Holy crap... a $180.00 18350 "mini" PV that is as tall as 18650 mechs. 700mAh!!! You could use it with an 18490 with a tube for $20 more... You can make it even UGLIER as an 18650 PV by purchasing a 3rd party telescoping cap that doesn't match in the slightest for $40 more.

A Kicked 18490 mech is not only infinitely sexier, more dependable, and smaller than a Provari Mini; but out-specs a Provari with DC-DC cleanliness.

Or...

How about buying a $21.00 1300mAh Vision Twist for something skinnier and about a 1/2 inch taller? A mod you could lose or have stolen and not give a ****?

8-oNoooooOOOOO!!!!!

7.) Warranty???

Honestly... how often are PV's malfunctioning? It's warrantied for manufacturing defects/malfunctions, not user stupidity. "I thought I could take a shower with my Provari!"

If it weren't so ugly and generic looking, and looked something more like this fine crafted mod pictured below (which incidentally had the same price point as a Provari), I'd be interested in a warranty.

And yes, I've "held one".

Just havin' a little fun in a thread designed to produce some sort of flame war. Vape on peeps!

Anything that great does not need people trying to shove it down anyone's throats.

:|:yawn::?::shock::vapor::D

I just vaped an:

1) ego twist/evod set up
2) MVP2/IBtanked cartotank
3) Sigelei ZMAX V3/Protank
4) Provari Mini/Kir Fanis Prive

They were all great! Each one supplied power when asked, isn't that the bottom line! If you can adjust whatever device you own, to your liking, who cares if it's a ego or Provari? Vape On!

Human nature at it's best, I guess. Odd, I'm sure there are a number of people who will not buy a Provari, specifically because of the way 'some' have touted the device. Anything that great does not need people trying to shove it down anyone's throats. I would hope that Provape has sat back quietly saying, ....!

In a conversation for a device that looks like a metallic dildo maybe the term shove it down anyone's throat should not be used :D:p
