Should ALL reviews be compared to the Provari?

Hopefully no-one feels I'm a "hater" due to my response, if they do, I probably won't lose sleep over it because we're talking about a mod which consists of plastic and metal. I don't "hate" the Provari, but I do feel that for the money, it's outdated. Would I give it a second look if they created a mechanical mod or a VV/VW mod? Sure, I'd LOVE to see it and I would love to hold either of the two to see how they feel.

At the end of the day, the Provari works. It's proven. There's no need to get hateful, argue back and forth, or claim superiority; we don't need that kind of "crap" going on. The industry has far more to worry about right now with deeming regulations than whether or not X mod is the #1 in the world. Arogance, Attitude and Sarcasm just adds fuel to the fire, as does name-calling and calling out other members.

Prime Example:

The same thing happens when you cross an Apple fan with an Android fan. They bicker back and forth and it wastes time and accomplishes absolutely nothing. Yeah, it's free advertising, but both claim the other is the absolute best and nothing else compares. Regardless of what you think, Apple will continue to sell their iPhones as quick as they can make them and the two dozen+ other company's that make Android phones will continue to sell X model.

....Just as ProVape will continue to sell the Provari and all other mod creators and designers will continue to sell theirs. The best is what is best for you, end of story. If you like something, that's great! I love my Nemesis / Nemesis Clone because it's simple. If you love your Twist, that's awesome too! Just don't get cocky about it because there's really no need.

It seems like they should, after so much reading. I am only 10 days in, mostly happy but having some minor happiness issues with my C Twist and Mini PT 2 and EVODS... it's keeping me off the analogs fine for now but I know I will be in the market for an upgrade pretty soon. I thought...oh what the heck...just buy the Provari Mini now and save the money in the long run.. but I can't seem to pull the trigger. I decided I would wait until the 6 month mark and then buy it if I am still vaping strong. I'll just keep replacing the c twists until then. I hope by then that some more reliable tank systems will hit the market.. i'm thinking...yeah, so I might buy the Cadillac Provari in batteries, but will still be diddling with the flipping issues with tanks etc. Where's the gain? Am I wrong?
Oh my how I just want a powerful plug and play device, set it and forget it...just low maintenance vaping..like firing up a stogie. I may be the odd girl out here but...I don't want vaping to become a fiddly, obsessive hobby (as it feels now), but more of an an effective, satisfying, low maintenance analog replacement. Everyone's dream I suppose. Let's hope 2014 brings some great advances n e liquid delivery systems!

I own a provari. Actually i own two.
I also own a few egos, two vv3, have owned two mvp2..... The first one i paid $80 for and it broke three days later. And i just recently added a chi you clone and am looking at the king.

The provari has limitations that mech mods do not have.
It takes forever to check ohms...
No vw which is important to those who change tanks thru out the day.
It is durable, consistant, reliable, repairable and has basic digital funtions.
It could also be used as a weapon i think.

It will not sub ohm so cloud chasers have no need for it. It is not a pass thru that works like the mvp2.

Sometimes battery life is important, and the mvp2 rocks in that dept.

I say variety is key if you can afford it.

My dream final set up is...
My innokin vv3 This is a classy looking battery for being dressed up.
My mvp2 for on the go... Like my purse battery, even if it dies i can plug in and vape. Can also charge my phone or ipad for the kids.
My provari with my ibtanks for my all day vape juice, the one i use the most.
My mech mod... For my rebuilds or when i need a pocket sized battery.

Awe damn, just realized i have my dream set up.
Ok my dream set up is to obtain two of the above mentioned and so now i need to get one more mech mod, and well another mvp2

Then i guess ill move on to wraps to bling them out.
After that carto tanks!
And guess ill move onto juices.

Mods aren't really the finicky / fiddly part of vaping, it's the tank or system you use in combination. If you want simple and ease to use, the Protanks may not be your cup of tea as they're really hit or miss. While it does require that you rebuild your own coils, I've found that RDA's are the easiest to maintain. This way you're only limited by the coil and the wick - you drip when you need it. Building a micro-coil makes it even easier as they tend to last longer. I've been going on 2 months on one coil, I just slide a wick out and back in and it's back to vaping.

Must be heavenly to be able to just throw money around.

You would really be happy with the itaste vv3 i love it topped with kwx5 from fast tech. That is the only clearomizer tank i use. And protank heads work on it.

I would suggest secondly the mvp2 with smok dct or the same kwx5 tanks. I use both.

i use ibtanks on my provaris. Those are $30 tanks but nice.

it depends on what you can spend. And what you are looking for.

if i had to leave my house right now and didnt know when Id be back. And i had to grab a vape and go. It would be my mvp2 topped with a 6 ml smok dct tank and id be good for two whole days.

If i had to choose one battery and couldnt own any others ever again. I would probably honestly choose the provari.
I have bad luck and the provari is repairable! For a fair price too.

There is no single best. I have friends for whom Greensmoke cig-a-likes are the best due to their simplicity and reliability (they also have a 1 year warranty that matches Provape and SvoëMesto). My favourite is a Svoë Mesto Semovar. The two are extremes apart and yet are both the best.

I have both Provari and Semovar ... and to me they do the job equally great ... however, in looks and construction, the Semovar does outshine the Provari.
I don't know about the electronics aspect of it all, not sure which chip is better, I guess the Nivel is newer (but new doesn't necessarily equal better).

John, we can always go for "Best in Class" like with cars: you have economy class, mid-size sedans, luxury class, sports, super, imports (lol - I crack myself up) and then you have the MERCEDES, BMW and PORSCHE (and of course those are in a class for themselves) :p

I think the original Lava tube is the best it has plastic caps that break. Its made of thin aluminum. No worry's of over taxing your batteries it regulates LR to high voltage no matter what you set it at. Its the best 10$ worth of parts, labor and shipping from China for a 100$ a guy can get. 002.jpg

You have been anti Provari no matter how you try to appear neutral. Is it the Made in the USA which bothers you the most?
I am an Englishman who would recommend a Russian designed German engineered Mod as "the best" . I would suggest that indicates a less blindly nationalistic view than an American who recommends a mod because it is Made in the USA.

In short I disregard the country of origin and concentrate on the product.
