Yay i was finally able to get the botton button apart. Thanks for ur help guys.. I used a vise and boom. I did have to grind a deeper notch on the magnet because it kept chipping from the force.. Now tomorrow i'll deal with modding it. Still got to read up a bit on that oart

How did you make the threads on the post? I just drilled a hole in mine and tapped in a brass m4. It stayed in place but i dont have the benefit of adjusting it.

Man that glue was truly a bother ended up notching and soaking mine in order to get it loose. Now to decide how I want to set it back up and eliminate the misfires luckily never had the hot button happen

I cant get the stupid magnet outta the post. Ima try soaking the post in alcohol tonight and see if it loosens up

I drilled a 3.3 mm hole and a m4 tap and a m4 brass bolt

If you drill the magnet in the center the magnet pops out, literally lol

Try heating it up with a torch or stove then quickly dropping it in cold water. Mine popped right out the second it touched the water.

So if you go the true magnetic switch route with ring magnets replacing the spring in the switch housing what would be the best way to make the connection to the body of the mech where people have been using wire and the spring to accomplish this

Don't understand the whole wire bit as the Brass post is screwed into the button anyway( just took the spring out and fires no worries.)

Hitting the button directly in the middle would sometimes result in a misfire as the tolerance between the body and button is too large.

Just clearing that up. That actually is not whats happening. You can see my post here that explains the contact points. The contact points are not the side of the switch rather the top of the actual button.

man, i'm having trouble even screwing the button assembly apart! I dont know if they put lock-tight or something in there. Does anyone have some tips for me or had this same issue? my hands and fingers are raw as hell from struggling to get this thing open so I can mod it.

I got a screw driver jammed in between the brass surrounding the magnet and the delrin so that part doesn't spin on me... but then the button doesn't even budge one bit... not that there's much to hold onto, but S*&$ it's killing me.

I ended up cutting a slot in.the magnet with a drimmel to use a flat head in and soaked the entire switch in rubbing alchohol for an hour or so pulled it out dried it off pinned the switch on the bottom of a shoe to keep it from turning/spinning and gave it some turns lefty righty till it finally broke loose then cleaned all the threads on the plunger and button with a needle to get all the glue gunk out once I could easily screw the plunger In and out of the button put it all back together
