What a great idea....a whole load of mods all being made at the same time ..step by step and at the end of it all a line up of photo's of everyone's finished product.

To the best of my knowledge, the guy that makes the GG is a machinist and machines the parts. If you want a GG slim, I'd suggest that you buy one from him.
I've made a 401 mod and the only adapter option that I know of is to salvage the adapter from a dead battery.
I just started with a 501 and found that the atomizer from a 401 is a perfect mate to the 510 atomizer.
I have not found AAA protected batteries, I don't think that they exist.
Good luck. If you don't want to solder, your options are very limited in terms of modding.
A drop of solder will seal off the adapter.
Honestly, my fiirst reaction to your posts was "Would you like me to wipe your ..., too". If you aren't prepared to figure stuff out for yourself and learn to solder, I'd suggest that modding probably isn't for you and you'd be happier buying a mod from a member or from the GG guy.

Maybe I am the only one on dial-up. If so I will just quit harping about the pictures. I just feel so left out when it comes to video.
1) If your solder connections are heating up to the point of vaporization/inhalation, you're doing something very wrong.
2)Lead-free solder (which is what most of us use) would have no ill effects if inhaled, in fact that "smoke" you see from your soldering iron is flux built into the solder
3) You obviously don't want to learn anything, so keep your petty fighting out of this thread, if you want to start a thread about the dangers of solder and how awesome the GG is, go right ahead, just leave your bickering out of here.

Ninja edit: Atomizers have solder in them, right on the coil posts, stop worrying about solder inside of a sealed case that you're not inhaling through.
I have perfected a nicostik mod for the 103 and 901... if u need help yeah lemme know
