just wanted everone to know, I bought 4 pen styles from smart fixx. The models both black and white with the chrome ring around the atomizer are great, but I got two black models with black rings around the atomizer and they preform very poorly and make a gurglying sound so I'm sending these models back for replacement, going to e-mail smart fixx right now and see how this return thing works

Are you talking about the Penstyle/Cigarette models being white? Or the Mini Cigarette models?

It wasn't my cartridge- I snapped the Cartrridge into my second atomizer, & it's producing ample smoke- so I'm afraid the atomizer on the other one is shot- gonna email SmartFixx- but want to know if they have a different model Penstyle frst- Do you mean the battery is white? or the atmozer? or what? All white?

I have only pen styles I have had much better luck with the white and black w/ chrom. It is the all black that gave me problems. I have also had better luck with the white batteries for some reason they last much longer and seem to respond quicker than the black batteries, don't know anything about any of thier other e-cigs

Thanks Jason- I'm goign to email them and see abotu gettign mine replaced with hte white and Chrome then- these black ones are gettign quite hard to take a draw through now- when I first got them, they were pretty good, but now I'm havign to take a hard draw & even double draw to get what just one steady draw did when they were new. My 13 day old one is more work now than it's worth & this just started happening today- Had a little issue yesterday, but turned out a fresh battery helped it some- but now today it really went downhill quickly for osme reason.

Yup- now I'm gettign absolutely no vapor and a burnt taste/smell- Crap- had high hopes for htis penstyle- Pretty dissappointign first two weeks of my esmoking experience- had one mini die in 3 days, penstyle died in 13 days- there's gotta be a better way to atomize the liquid with an atomizer that doesn't burn out so quick- this stinks- very dissappointing. I was able to get down to just 6-7 real ciggs a day using hte E-cigg- was hoping to be able to keep going for awhile- but I dunno- the life expectancy isn't lookign too good with htese htigns.

Just so other folks reading don't freak out about gurgling sounds... many ecigs loaded up with liquid will make a gurgling sound as the liquid 'cooks' and will work fine. In fact I had one that was gurgling and had very little vapor... I was quite disappointed and intended to return it. I kept using it and it got better and better. In the end it's outlasted all the others and if I baby it, it keeps bouncing back. Probably because it has never dried out so has not overheated.

Jason I have no idea about the feel or sound of your particular gurgling ecig, so my post isn't meant to be personal, just a general comment.

I feel really bad emailing so often to get new parts to replace atomizers and batteries that stop working. What I want to know is -- do the people who sell us this stuff lose money when we need replacements because something stops working? Do they send back the malfunctioning atomizers and batteries or what happens to all the stuff that gets replaced at no cost to us (the customer)?
I had the same feelings about this. Smart Fixx told me it was cheaper for them to just send out the replacements.

Now that I've seen a part like the atomizer being profitably retailed for $6 or $9 on ebay, I'm not so concerned that folks here are losing money. I think they'd be even better off if all kits went out with 2 atomizers and they cut out some of the frantic back-and-forth with disappointed customers.

$40 for an atomiser is just a rip off.i buy mine-good ones-for $10 including shipping-less if i buy a number of them..it means i have lots of spares,so im always good to go.youd be surprised how frustration free it makes esmoking...
ive got 4 spare atomisers and 4 fresh batteries sitting here ready for when my current ones fail-which inevitably they will...i wonder would the cheap ebay ones fit the smartfixx?might be worth getting one to find out. ;)

Okay, it sounds like folks are thinking that the product with the Chrome ring is superior to the product with the Black ring? If so, I'm wondering about the cart thread saying the newer carts fit the Black ring but not so much the Chrome ring....

yeah, I don't like the new carts from smart fixx at all, the individualy wrapped ones with the plain ring are very hard to get into the atomizers (w/ chrome rings) and they are almost tastless (even the menthol ones) the scalopped ones they sent me, however, fit great, I asked and that is what they are going to be sending me.

The box is the same as Njoy so.....
Actually, it doesn't look anything like the box my Njoy came in.

do you have a picture of the box your njoy came in?

These are pictures of the njoy with box I have seen online.

The battery is the EXACT same
The charger is the EXACT same
The cable is the EXACT same
The cutouts of foam in the njoy box are the EXACT same
The carts come packaged the EXACT same.
Hell, the damn thing looks like a spitting image of the SmartFixx and EPuffer

The Njoy, Smartfixx, and EPuffer are all the exact same e-cigarette. They just have different branding.

EDIT:
Found another picture of an Njoy box. This one does NOT look like the Smartfixx. However, everything else looks the exact same.

Well I emailed SmartFixx last night- haven't got a reply yet. Asked if I could exchange my all black models for hte white with Chrome ones- I even offered to pay shipping and handling both ways- Seems liek maybe they're getting tired of my emails as they are not responding as quick as when I first emailed them with the Mini Atomizer problem. We'll see what they do.

Mr. Darcy- what manufacturer are your Penstyles? If you don't mind, What is the link to The cheapo atomizers? Leoford said that in his experience, most atomizers and Carts and bateries are generally interchangeable between models, with a few exceptions

E-Cigerette shops really should send out at least 4 atomizers with each kit for hte prices they are chargign for one kit- that way the kit could at least take the buyer through at least a month and a half- which would at least make it worth it. $40 for one atomizer is just rediculous as it is the most ocmmon item to break down. The sellers know darn well their products are without exception goign to break down in a week or two. I'm sorry- but this E-Smoking prosucts are just a lousy product for hte price they are charging. Don't get me wrong- the concept is great, but the product simply is not ready for hte market yet. There may be soem exceptions every now and again, but htis is the exception, not hte rule it seems- some might get lucky and have one last a long time, but from all I've read, and fro mwhat I've experienced personally with this one brand, I think a serious overhaul of atomizer needs to take place. I've had ot resort to my New replacement Mini Cigg from SmartFixx, and already it's starting to heat up a bitm ore rapidly & givign off a bit of a funky burnt flavor- it's brand new- I smoked it only one day when I first got it, then put it away when my Penstyles arrived- I've been just keeping it for a back-up incase my Penstyles bit hte dust- which predictably it has.

As one person astutely pointed out in these forums, "What good is great service when hte product is so lousy"? Great service helps for sure, but liek I said- I just don't believe the product is ready for prime time yet. AmrtFixx's Mini certainly isn't ready, and now I see their site is advertising a new Super-Mini? no thanks

I'm located in the states.
just got email back from SmartFixx- they said they'd be happy to replace the blakc pens for white ones, but will the Cartridges that fit the black penstyle definately not fit the white oens? Maybe I should just have Smartfixx send me a new black atomizer instead as I've got loads of extra carts for the blakc already/ would be nice to find some cheap replacement atomizers somewhere & just order a bunch

yup ... we are getting ripped a new one.

Njoy seems to really be ripping a new one considering theirs seems to be the most expensive. but you do get a year warranty.

If e-cig's really take off, watch and see how the pricing plummets as more and more chinese factories start pushing product out the door.

its like ebay cell phone accessories. their electronics are pretty damn good, and for $.99 cents for a lithium-ion battery replacement ....
