Just for *hits and grins I ordered a 5 pack of the Smoktech 2.0 LR single coils. I don't know, these are just wrong, especially after using the DCCs. I guess I got spoiled. Well curiousity satisfied, I'll stick with the XL DCCs and the EMDCCs. The singles had a funny taste, almost burned but not quite. It could have been a dud, but the other 4 will sit there for emergencies.
I don't know about the 2.0ohm but the 1.7ohm have performed very well for me. The dual coils at 3.7volts didn't do well. I will be re-
testing them tomorrow when my bats come in and I can run 6 volts. I was thinking about running them at 7.4 volts but decided 6 volts would be plenty.

just screw them unto your connector as lightly as you can to make battery contact, but not compress the threads.
The stainless steal DCC's from mad vapes are all I use any more at 3.7v just got a dozen. I always stick a clear or smoke derlin drip tip in them. Those and the NEw eGo megas DCC's. Love those.
So, I bought myself 10 of the new eGo Mega DC cartos from MadVapes and have been using them for a couple of days. All I can say is, holy hell do these things last. I can literally go more than a full day on a single fill (closer to a day and a half), and despite the extra filler material I can still vape them virtually dry. And they're still just as awesome as the 510 style cartos. The rubber whistle tips are great, too, and make refilling easier. This is my new favourite vape by far.
Slightly OT, but I got a pack of the Bauway 1.8ohm 60mm single-coils from MadVapes for my wife's 510 and they actually work exceptionally well all things considered. No weird taste, good capacity, tons of vapor, very easy draw due to the larger center hole. I still much prefer the DCs, and especially the eGo Mega DCs, but these Bauways on a 510 were a surprise. My only complaint is that the construction is inconsistent. The threads aren't all machined perfectly and are sometimes hard to attach, and the length of filler inside differs from one carto to the next; the first was recessed about half an inch with a good thread, while the second I tried was almost to the bottom of the cap and had a rough thread, and the third was again recessed half an inch with a slightly rough thread.
For what it's worth I've cleaned and reused my XL DCs half a dozen times now and they're still going strong. Only problem with them is that they take a long time to dry if you want to wait 'til they're totally bone dry. I usually rinse them out well, blow out what water I can, let them sit upside-down on tissue paper for 24 hours, blowing out periodically, then fill until residual water drips out until the water starts looking more like the colour of liquid I'm filling with (usually half a dozen drops or so). But then I'm a bit impatient.
After cleaning blow out H2O.

Well, they are no worse than my 2.3ohm Boge LR Cartomizers on my 3.7volt battery but the dual coils XL hold about twice as much juice.
I may buy some 2.0-2.2ohm Boge Cartos and try them out for a better vape.
I took some apart I dont see anything in there that would melt....

I'm not having luck with the dual coils. Which Juices are you guys using? I like tobacco and sweet juices.
Sold the FOG I had due to random leaking and flooding issues.
Dual coils in a tank rock much much better
50/50 PG/vg 36mg nic on 3.7 volt mods.
30/70 PG/vg 12mg nic on vv army tank 5.5-6.5 volts
