I think when we're talking about atty life, we've all had attys which lasted 5 minutes & attys which lasted for weeks.

Since this is the first atomizer Vapage has produced, I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far. Not only is it a great performing atty with excellent flavor, but they are very concerned about each of us having a great experience with their company.

There are plenty of other companies making atomizers these days, & they have all had problems with new models & specs being off. Even companies known for their quality control & customer service.

Vapage has shown they are in for the long haul & want to be known for producing quality products. What other company has offered to replace atomizers with virtually no questions asked?

Well put. I really feel good about being a part of the review of this new atty and the thread you have created AG. This has been a great thread and I thank you for that. There is so much information on this thread and so many reviews from so many different people. It's interesting to read all of this and I look forward to it everyday.

taz, agreed. For the cost of a "normal" atty you can get the Hybrid and vape with more flavor, TH and vaaaapor.

LNate, what do you think you did to the atty?

Angler, you said it all. AG, has done so very much for all of us and this thread, and also for Vapage, COV, and Vapealicious. The knowledge given so freely, concisely, and consistently means alot to all of us. Of this, I'm absolutely sure.

There really is good info here and hey, we're going to beat the Darwin thread in size soon.

Any suggestions for restoring it to good health? It's a long shot, I know.

When you look inside of it does the wick look discolored/burned? How do you think you ruined it?

When I've managed to get some flavor burned and stuck somewhere and I can't see and there is no obvious damage or residue on the wick or coil, I resort to the ultrasonic cleaner w/ IPA. Then air dry, and a quick quick dry burn after. It's the only time I intentionally do a dry burn. -Magnus

More and more I'm reading "no dry burns" as the standard for cleaning. How to remove the "gunk"? I don't know. I use the U/S cleaner and sometimes with a Polident bath, but I'm not a gunk removing expert. I just know that most of my attys have lived thru my abuse for over 6 months now. And dark, sweet juices to boot!

Well, i really hope mine lasts at least 2 more weeks, since i purchased only 2 and one of them was defective. Brian from Vapage eagerly promised to replace it, but it'll take a while to arrive and i'd hate to go back to the SILOs now that i know how good the hybrids are :)

Then again, i didn't even purchased it from Vapage directly, so i must say that's a totally outstanding support, no complaining here.

Hi all, A.G. sent me a couple of these to abuse......er um test....1 BF 2.0 and 1 standard 2.0, I used the BF first for 1 week and no drop in flavor or clogging...and have swithched to the standard yesterday, and I must say these things are really awesome. Have not had any break in issues with either which is a plus by itself.......Note I used both on the same pv and same thick juice to abuse as much as possible...hehe. and to get an accurate account of the results.
Tested on a Red Sky Mark V Cutlass.....from 4.0 to 4.5, using BWB Malty....which if you dont know it is thicker than molasses in the winter!

Hey Riverwolf,
I don't know what you mean buy "break in issues". Can you explain that? On the two Hybrid 1.5 bottom feeders that I have used it took me, just roughly, nearly a full day to get the flavor and vapor consistent. I will admit though that I kept them pretty much flooded the whole time and I mean as much juice as I could pump into them. It took that long to get that metalic taste out of them. They had good flavor even at the start but still had that metalic taste until they were what I call broke-in. The 1.5 ohm also burns hotter so that's probably a factor also. I'd like to hear about how the break-in is on the 2.0 because I've heard such good reviews on it I might try a couple. From what I've gathered it's not your usuall 2.0 ohm atty.

Well, I filled mine up above the coil and let it soak for about 30 minutes maybe a little longer. and I had the same flavor throughout the whole week on the BF.......I have only had the standard on for about 18 hours so if it gets even better then I will be happy. Mostly I am exstatic that there is no nasty crap(primer) already in there!

The only thing I didn't do was let it soak like you did and in retrospect maybe I should have. It's all ok now because I don't get that metalic taste anymore but that may have made it easier on me. The next ones will get the soak treatment for sure.
Thanks for the prompt reply Riverwolf. I too cannot believe how good these are and they have become my only 306 atty if you can call it that. I still like my Cisco LR 510's but it is so nice to have a variety on my Woodvil. Of course I've always got my "ancient" prototype 801 native Woodvil sitting on my coffee table for the in-between times.

Yes, the 816 does sound better and is easier to say not to mention that's exactly what it is: a 306 plus a 510. I think y'all are on to something.

If we're voting I'm going to throw 408 into the ring... It rolls off the tongue, plus you're not really getting a full 510. It's missing the bridge.

The .410 shotgun shell is a nifty package too. It's commonly used these days in some little pocket cannons. My derringer will fire a .410. Not what you would expect from a tiny gun. :)

Just received three 2Ω BFs. Took the condom off one, and the coil is not wrapped around the wick. It's just sorta loose and wild and the wick is naked lol - checked the other 2, and while they're not wrapped the same way, they look functional. Grabbed one of these to test, metered 2.0 exactly (yes, I take lead resistance into account). Seated the post, gave it about 10 drops and a few minutes.

Screwed onto REO Grand (AW IMR 18650), unscrewed and examined all gaskets, etc. Looks good to me, slap her back on and hit the button for a short primer puff. Inhaled the next one, a short 2 second drag, worried about shorting the mod lol - what I got was the most freely drawing hit of my vaping career. Very very airy, which I like, though some may not. I really hope it doesn't tighten up in 2 days like all my other 306 (I have Cisco, IKV, Bauway, and Joye).

I have NOT broken it in yet, it's been literally 10 minutes, and I'm very pleased with it - which is saying a lot, as I've been known to vape at 20+ watts..

Bummer about the defective one, I'll see about getting a replacement. I think a quick visual inspection of each atty before shipping would be smart.

TLDR: 2Ω BF on REO, no short, great TH, airy draw. Real nice imo.
