Them: when are you going to stop using that thing?
you: when are you going to stop breathing?
I usually use the "are you going to stop drinking coffee?"
I believe that I will use this one more! Thank you!

I'm just honest with them. I tell them that I smoked for 35 years at a pack and a half a day. I tell them I tried cold turkey, Chantrix, gum, lozenges, patches, you name it, and nothing worked. I had a heart attack and could not stop smoking. I tell them that at that point I knew that I, like most smokers, was one of those that was just going to smoke themselves to death, as not much really works for most with this addiction. I discovered vaping, and it has been the answer for me. I explain that there is nothing in the vapor but nicotine which, despite the addictive qualities, is really no more dangerous than coffee, and that if I quit vaping I will probably go back to smoking myself to death.
That usually does it.
.. the vapor may actually have healing properties (probably not though), but who knows.
I have heard of a study where the PG in our e-liquid aids in the "lung cleaning" process (the coughing up of gross black projectiles as often happens when we quit smoking, lol).
Also, it is known to have anti-microbial properties. Many vapers are finding that they no longer suffer their annual flu or nasal ailments anymore.
One of the girls at work says, when I say I'm going outside for a minute, "she's going to pretend to smoke again."
I'm going to airbrush a duck on my tornado![]()
