Status of KBV store and ordering

Ummmm helloooooo.... look at my sig!

4oz of MAW to celebrate?

Hey Sophie I haven't forgot :) hat we're doing is running "all out" until we max the merchant account and then the store will be down one last time while we implement the new processor and other features. I'll add a 4 OZ option with a flavor drop down of the top flavors. The problem we'll have is it'll probably be stocked daily at around 10-15 units. Te problem with programming it this way is that it's the easiest way without creating additional products for EVERY flavor, yet it leaves us open to not being able to cover inventory correctly unless done like outlined.

For instance, if I created a drop down 4OZ and stocked 50 units and 75% of them choose GBC then we're looking at around 150 ounces of it + what is ordered in ounces and 15s.

I have over 90ml of GBC left and some HN and Sweet Tea still, I think I'm good for a week or two. I love ordering way in advance. The GBC just gets better and better. I wonder how awesome it can get?
I made myself a 4OZ bottle of GBC last night since I only have an ounce left :) I like it steeped too.

The server for the site is down again  Chase is working on it and the store is still technically open, and will stay so for a few more days. We're shipping orders that were pulled from the site before it went down but I'll have to re-send those shipping emails manually when the server comes back up  Yeah it's a PITA!

As mentioned before, we will pull the site offline this week to implement an additional payment processor and make some other changes. This could range from a few days to a week. We promise that we will make every effort to be a 24/7 operating store once this is done. If the server is going to continue to be a problem we'll go to a dedicated server, right now we are on a shared one which hosts several e-cig sites only.

Hey Jelly Man! Now that IS a crisis :p Well looks like it's up on my end. It was funny because it wasn't effecting everyone, you'd think the owner would have a little pull :glare:

I re-sent shipping notices that bounced today, IDK if I did it right but will update the order #s and if you need tracking I can access it. Been a rough day :( We had to quit at noon because I couldn't download orders. We're bringing Tara back after dinner and working this evening as we didn't get many orders out the door :(

We're within 24-36 hours of maxing our current merchant account. When that happens we will take the store offline to add an additional merchant account and implement some other features. We expect this to last under a week but want to let people know so if you need to order this week it's probably best to do it now. If by chance I don't catch it in time it will decline cards and the reason will be we amassed our limit. I'll do my best to monitor that but if you're declined that's the reason.

Upon changes we feel we will finally be a 24/7 operating store :)

We're moving the site as we go, currently I'm not able to access the admin and I logged into the merchant account and we're only a few orders within our monthly limit. I may or may not be able to shut the site down before we reach it, if I can't and your card is declined that is the reason why.

Getting this out of the way while running will help eliminate down time while we implement the other features :) This is a dedicated server and we shouldn't have any more issues.

Glad you can see it! I'm waiting on the DNS to flush, I've tried everything manually and it didn't work. Looks like I gotta call my ISP and have them flush it.

This is causing shipping emails to not be sent because shipworks cannot communicate with the store until complete  I'll re-send them once we're up. Also orders that were placed during the move I cannot yet access/download invoices. There are only 8 to go and worse case Chase can email em to me.

I know in the long run this is the best thing to do but it has made for a rough week and cost us orders. It will be made up in the lost downtime though with having a reliable dedicated server and will make PCI compliance a lot easier :)

Thanks Mark

I feel your pain :( I would be angry at your ISP for not setting the TTL on the DNS to as low as possible so the transition happened sooner. On the same note, they could point the old IPs to your new site also if they really wanted to (its not hard to do). It would have prevented downtime or kept it very small (a few minutes). I have not been able to get to your site for a couple of days now :( I check it daily for caramel cappuchino to come back in stock :)

Well they supposedly reset it when I called my ISP but still no go :( My designer is coming in remotely here in a bit to see because he can access it  Worst case is he has to send me the last few orders in PDF and we get them out tomorrow, but it has been a rough week.

We have Caramel Capp ready to stock :)

Okay! Can't say back in biz, but I can access and work on the site :) We'll try to get it done over the weekend but may have to get approval (on the site changes) Monday from the other merchant account before re-opening. Chase came in remotely and hit Ctrl + 5 and it came right up........... I tried that a dozen times today

I re-sent all shipping emails, I hope I did it right and if your order was processed and you didn't receive one and would like tracking, contact me. Also, last time it was down people told me their emails to me bounced so if you emailed me and don't hear from me please don't hesitate to PM me or re-send the email.

Thanks, we really have been looking forward to this day as much as everyone, and expect KBV to be a full time store now :)
