I second Hoosier's suggestion about an eGo. I used to smoke a pack/pack and a half a day and the battery on an eGo will last me most of the day, if not the whole day. Besides the second battery that comes in a kit is well done charging by the time it's time to swap out the battery.

Fiona65 is also right about finding an all day flavor. Get some sample packs from different vendors. Don't just get the tobacco flavors. I was scared of the food & other funky flavors. But now after trying some funky flavors and the tobacco flavors I have to say that the tobacco flavors mostly taste like a yak poop sandwich. There are a few good ones out there (to my pallet). Tobacco flavors, oh man some taste like cat pee, but so far the worst food/funky flavor I has was just so so.

Hi Delirium and welcome to ECF. Although I don't own the E-Power many are happy with it. As for emptying your cartos.
Go to walmart and buy an Oral Med Dispenser- $2.00
Walmart.com: Apex: Oral Medication (Small) Syringe, 1 Ct: Home Medical
I use it to clean any overfilled cartos via the Taryn Method- place a condom on the end before spinning.
Tie a string to the cone that comes with the dispenser and the carto fits perfectly into the cone. Also can be used for measuring juice/ PG/ VG, etc. but apply clear nail polish otherwise numbers will be erased.

Good Luck, Vapoor.

Hi everyone. I got my ecig a few weeks ago. I'm having a hard time adjusting from analog to this. I can't smoke it at work. (work for Dept of health. Someone will complain.) So I've been just smoking analog on breaks (outside) to make sure I get enough nic while at work(I work customer service. Not a good time to be cranky). But even when I'm at home, I'll vape, but feel like I can't get enought nic to fix my craving. I've been using 16-18 juice. Should I go to a higher level nic? Also I have a 510 model and its not excatly portable. I lose the tip in my purse all the time, or the ecig all together. Is there a smaller/more portable model out there that is on the level as the 510 (or a 510 that is smaller)Or is there anywhere I can get a case for it. I like it otherwise. And one more question, I filled all my dual coil cartrages with the 16-18 juice. Is there any way to get that out and refill it with a high level of juice or should I buy more? (I have to get more tips anyways...) Yes, still a newbie.... Thank you.

when I started vaping I assumed I was addicted to nicotine. I started vaping with 18 mg nic. I soon went down to 12, then after a few months 8. I am now between 12 and 6 mg nic (mostly 6, but I still have 12 mg liquids). what I discovered about myself was that actually I seem to be more addicted to the hand to mouth thing....and the vapor ... if I have lots of vapor I'm happy. it's different for everyone!

I also still love my little joye 510 and riva 510...and I like unflavored liquid :2c:

Good Luck, Vapoor.

In case you are not familiar with the linguo, I am pretty sure he does not mean an actual condom, but actually the rubber cover that goes on each end of an unopened cartomizer.

Correct me if I am wrong (a real condom might work too if you secured it with a rubber band!)

I'll take your word for it. If you try it and it does work, I wanna see pictures!

With so much great information here for you, I don't have too much to ad. Welcome to ECF!

As for loosing your e-cigg, consider looking for a cheap snapping eyeglass case to keep your things in. Some may even have a strap to hold the eyeglasses in that you can use to hold your juice/ecigg, ect. Also, You shouldn't be scared to use your e-cigg on your breaks. If anyone says something, just kindly and politely explain and (hopefully) there should not be an issue. Sure, have the analogs around for backup and don't beat yourself up too much. Not everyone stops smoking the first day they get their e-cigg.

I do apprecate the advice and I will go by my own pace, up the juice level (I was using 16-18 becasue I was smoking ultra lights 1/2 pack a day). Thank you all agian. :)

I think you'll find that there's a huge difference between 18mg and 24mg. To me, the 18mg tastes like bad breath but the 24mg really hits the spot! I vote that you up your nicotine level and see if that helps.

One thing to remember is the terms "Light" and "Ultra Light" for analogs refer to the strength of the flavor NOT nicotine content. Depending on the brand you were smoking it's possible that you were getting MORE nicotine with only a half a pack then I was getting from my full pack a day of full flavor analogs.

I have been vaping for about a week now and am still analoging a little on the side but I've managed to cut down from a full pack a day to 3-5 a day depending on my meals.

For being a super nubie I would suggest focusing on nic strength and flavor and THEN worrying about cutting analogs out.
