I have 3 virgin vapors they kill me and I love the flavor just can't stop coughing. hoping a long steep and tops off a few tmes will eventually make them work. If not to PIF they will go

Thx for the heads up. I'm always glad to hear about new VG vendors.
However, that's one I think I'll watch for awhile. I haven't checked to see if he has a forum here but he makes some pretty wild claims that just don't add up right (picture mixing eliquid in a bathtub) and I can't do alcohol well. I think that's what's wrong with Boba's and Virgin Vapor for me.

But the "organic" thing. (and some other claims)...I don't know if your familar with Kurt, but he's the "resident chemist" on ECF and has several posts discussing organic, natural and synthetic in DIY - also on the sources of PG/VG. He did the post on cinnamon. I've grown to have a lot of respect for what he says. Anyway, if your interested, this post about "organics" came up earlier today (elsewhere); No one talks organic? - Page 5

Anyway, thx. It's one for the watch list. The banana and carmel did sound good. :thumb:

From my reading on here and other places the organic and natural and all that talk that makes the ingredients sound 'better' or 'pure' are labels I tend to stay away from. It seems to be a different definition depending on who is doing the talking or selling. In the end, I go with the well established vendor that is not making ridiculous claims and has a good track record. A lot of these vendors can not tell you where their ingredients come from. They only know the wholesaler they get it from in many cases. Trying to track the ingredients to the manufacturer or source is a difficult process and sometimes is impossible for the consumer.

I tried 3 of Virgin Vapors all vg juices in the last few months. I can not vape any of them. Now to my tastebuds they had a chemical taste that would not steep away. Their tobacco I tried was not good at all for my taste. I have not pursued trying other all vg juices because I get that heavy chest feeling from them. I pretty much vape 50/50 or 70/30 now.

Natural and organic do have established definitions even if they aren't used in the purest sense like "certified". This is not about produce industry. In the flavoring industry a natural flavor can be a synthetic because they are mixing chemicals either way. Organic can contain "floaties" (particulates) that we probably don't want in our lungs.

I don't have a problem with a new vendor, but I want them to be smart and honest. Nude Nicotine has done well for a new company in that area. I wish I knew a little more about Velvet Cloud because I like their eliquids too. A lot of the VG vendors are doing their own extractions, adding an additional layer of complexity.

Many of the popular PG eliquids have been reverse engineered by DIY'ers to the flavoring used. It's just a matter of time, like a puzzle or good mystery. That doesn't mean everyone is going to DIY it either (Virgin uses NF).

Moderation. If a person is too cautious they may miss the flavor that'll keep them off cigs. Pretty much anything is better than cigs. This is splitting hairs except in the case of allergies.

I hear what you are saying Lox. I have gotten that response from a vendor in the past. But this is different. Little brown things floating around in the juice bottle??? That is just not right and not something the user did to it. At MBV's prices, it would be in their best interest to just send a new bottle of juice.

I still would not vape it, even if it does have something to do with it maybe getting frozen during shipping. I have never had a juice with sediment in it. A couple that tasted like there was sediment, but no actual floaties.

Well, I got a very fast response from MBV. Would like to clear up a couple things though: This was flavoring (not e-liquid) and the "powdery stuff" sank to the bottom, wasn't "little floaty bits"! Anyway, here's their answer:

That is actually normal. The guys on ECF may be going off of a different brand or a number of other differences. This is normal though, this is mostly do to the cake yellow in this flavor. Also if it is the flavoring it will be more noticeable.
(Note he didn't say exactly WHAT it was, which is one of the questions I asked.....)
Has anyone seen this in the MBV Yellow Cake flavoring?

Being a bit of a daredevil I might try a little of this and see whether I like it enough to use it.....

Lox, great idea on that paint-shaker! I had no idea something like that even existed! After seeing a you-tube vid about using a "coffee foamer" I was wondering if I could make a dremel adapter that would work as a foamer, or maybe just use one of these:

Edit: Maybe these would work better?

Happy St. Paddy's Day. No orange today!
Up in Wa we'd take the day off. Huge celebrations and a big event everywhere (lines by noon).
In Az? Nothing. Not even corned beef specials. I've missed the holiday for years.

Don't worry Aik, I had enough corned beef and cabbage for your share too. Lol, almost 4 pounds over the course of the day and enough Jameson to make up for the whole year... currently paying for it :sly:

Yeah, most custards have that bite to them. I'm really looking for a true vanilla flavor above all. I make a pretty damn tasty vanilla custard but it has two tons of different ingredients and over 30% flavoring so I'm looking for something different. The RY4 is beginning to taste like baby powder, so not tasty. I'm going to have to let that one steep awhile I guess.

My ry4 (home diy) ended up tasting like french toast after a good steeping.

I would contact MBV and send it back. That does not sound right, no matter who the vendor is. I think something is wrong with that juice. I would not vape it. Why take the chance. Every vendor can make a mistake once in a while. See what MBV has to say about it.

I agree, contact them. It sounds like rust maybe, but without seeing it I have no idea.
