I'm glad you are getting fixed up. :)

For anyone afraid they can't make their own coils, I jumped in with both feet today. I had made a couple of coils but hadn't tried them because the only rda I had had a perfectly good coil and I wasn't going to take it out to test the resistance of the two I had made that looked pretty good. I ordered a second RDA and it came today so I put my first coil in and tested the resistance, 1.4 ohms, IMHO perfect. Went ahead and built the atty and it's working great, so if I can have success on my first try the rest of you guys can certainly do it. :)

Way to go, Claudia!

I would think power surging yoyr power provider would need to check it out as the problem could be in thier end. Or maybe feedback on the circut from something turning in and off?

I'm afraid it's a fault with my circuit breaker box. Long story (kind of) short -- when I bought this house a couple of years ago the inspector somehow missed the fact that the circuit box is a Sylvania, and I was unaware of the significance of this until my home owner's insurance dropped me over it (Sylvania bought out a company called Zinsco, re-branded the boxes, and then they find out that Zinsco had produced some faulty boxes). I already have one issue with the box, and now I have to wonder if mine is one of those faulty re-branded ones.

So sorry about your fall Karen. Since I am new, I don't know what kind of babies Rambo and Rocky are, but it must be nice to have them snuggled up with you.

I picked up three cigarettes out of habit this morning. It stinks, because when I go to bed at night, I love the fact that I'm not wheezing any more. I need to try to do better so I don't start smoking more and vaping less. It's so hard to get off of cigarettes!

two Chihuahuas, one is 5 lbs the other 10 lbs, of course they are adorable!rambo.jpg

So interesting development. I made my black and mild ry4 too strong and the black and mild overwhelmed everything. I decided to cut it into a larger bottle and add more vg/pg and some tobacco absolute. The TA was diluted in PGA and caused an allergic reaction  sores on tongue and palate. Explains why I had such a nasty reaction 2 years ago - the vendor used Natures Flavors which are all alcohol based. Something to keep in mind for those of you having issues ;)

I have a granddaughter and two grandsons, aged 9, 7, and 5. That's part of the reason I'm doing more vaping, and very little smoking. At 61, I want to be around to watch them grow up and have families of their own!

Hey kathi, I hear ya! Me too really, I think that's what pushed me over the edge to really get off the cigarettes and get serious about vaping to help with that. I quit cigarettes the day before my #1 granddaughter's 1yr birthday, right after my DIL told me that the reason they couldn't get excited about my grandbaby coming to stay over at my house is that I smoked. Usually I fight those opinions, especially because I went to such great pains to filter and airflow my house so that most people always said they couldn't tell there was a smoker around. BUT hey, DS#2 and DIL's opinions matter most when it comes to where their daughter(s) go(es)!

I always say it was the cost of my fave cigarettes that finally got to me, but that's been true for a LONG time and I always managed.

And I never really believed that smoking could or would hurt me, because I'm invincible and immune, right? Heh.

Anyway, the combination finally worked, and DS#2 even lets me vape in his house, and he (military-man squared away etc) is such a stickler -- totally supportive of vaping, and totally happy that anything could get me away from cigarettes.

Both my sons, as young'uns, would frequently steal and try to flush or otherwise dispose of my cigarettes. HOOOO BOY, did that ever get them into trouble! So they both are BIG fans of vaping now, both being in their 30s -- they never thought anything would separate me from cigarettes!

I'm about to give up on the flavor chase and just stick to the couple of flavors I know I like. It gets very expensive to buy so much juice and end up with none that you can vape for long before getting sick of it. :(

Oh, thaya -- I understand that feeling so well. I made a bunch of wrong turns in my first 8 or so purchases from various e-liquid vendors. Bought large bottles before having tried them, didn't research their specialties, didn't look at any reviews, just bingo-bango'd around. Mistakes, expensive!

But I suddenly, recently, got into a great zone of having done better research (I know that I won't agree with every review of course, and fan faves can sometimes be failures for my taste -- but accumulating a bunch of positive and negative reviews and interpolating my tastes into them, well, that helped), buying SMALL bottles or samples to start ... I've found some awesome new vendors and feel pretty close to narrowing them down to a few go-to juices and vendors.

It's amazing, isn't it, that some vendors can do a home run on a few flavors, yet others can be really flopalistic to any one individual's taste!

I have found that I am a coffee/cocoa/tobacco/dessert vape person. I'm not very much a fruit vape person, it turns out, which is weird because in foods I LOVE fruits.

I've also learned that I LOVE using the little nano vision-type clearomizers. As far as I know they can't be rebuilt or have wicks replaced, but they're so nice and small and inexpensive that I can flavor away, refill or change flavors often, and I LIKE doing it that way. My bigger tanks have all let me down in one way or another so far, leaking, etc. I still haven't jumped into the water on using my dripping atomizers -- I have 'em though!

Anyway thaya, don't give up on the flavor search. If your fave flaves categories are anything like mine, pm me and I'll pass on the ones I've found, fwiw. I've gotten so I never spend more than $30 or so per order, and have tried enough vendors now that I'm feeling pretty good about having covered quite a few bases (there will maybe always be a few more to try, I'm sure) and if I stopped trying others right now, I would happily have about 20 truly delicious (to me) favorites.

Claudia, you are really starting to scare me now. A mech mod? OMG. Who you hanging out with on here? Remember, you are not a college age boy. (Really just teasing you.) Good for you, and it looks very professional and pretty. How does it vape?

I am jealous. I am going to get my Igo-L in the mail next week and come on here and post about my dismal failures. Mech mod. Bah! I did buy some stronger reading glasses, hope that and the larger deck on the Igo-L will help me to build a working coil. If I could just get my hands to do what they are supposed to do.

LOL I figured this would please you. Next on the list just may be a mech mod for the Origen to sit on. :)

Oh no, Lox. I hope it clears up quick. That is a disappointment. So did you have to call vendor to trace down source of PGA? I did not have much luck with that.
