And after you recover you will be dancing everywhere. Good luck on your surgery and recovery! Hope you have some help with housework and your pets, too.

That's right, you are finally going to get that surgery done. Good. But weeks? Ouch. I believe you said your daughter was coming out to help. Is that still the plan. I hope so.

Yep, my daughter is flying in next week to take care of me and the dogs for 2 weeks (I have an awesome kid! And her husband is being wonderful in helping out too -- he's had to take a leave from work to take care of their kids). I have to keep reminding myself about the surgery ... Her and I are just both so excited about getting to spend some time together!

I walk a fine line all the time on the 'do I comment or not' decision. I do want to be supportive but sometimes it is really very hard. Not in this thread. But out there in the rest of forums. I find if I can not particularly add a specific tip or trick I can sometimes relate a personal story on what I experienced in a similar situation. I have had feedback, mostly positive on those posts. There are also times when I just run and not post, quickly.

That sounds just like what I do! I read a little bit, and then I have to get off the thread before I end up getting snarky.

I made my first 'Report This Post' report. I do not know if it was the right thing to do or if I was in the wrong. But there was a thread with a thread title that I found insensitive and offensive. The person used the word '......ed' to refer to behavior that would better be described as dumb or stupid. I just felt that using that term was just not right. I may be acting overly sensitive, but it bothered me. I normally ignore all the silly stuff, but this one got to me.

I don't think you're being overly sensitive ...that is insensitive terminology.

Top,

Where'd you get the coupon?

I get their e-mails. Have signed up about 3 times to get their "in-the-mail" coupons, but they never show up (or perhaps DW is getting rid of them so I don't spend more $$ on tools!)

(Edit) I got the precision screwdriver set for the same reason - coil winding. Already have more drill bits than I can shake a stick at, and the nice thing is that for winding coils it doesn't actually matter that 99% of them are total crap when it comes to drilling holes in anything!

i checked the flier at the door, and the price tag had a without coupon price, so i asked for a coupon.

im trying to drip taste some new flavors i got.. and i was dry burning my coil, added a drop of VG to the wick to help clense the flavor out some more.. and ALOT of vapor is being produced. take a breath to keep blowing and i hear a Poof.. and the vapor caught fire?! im stumped as to why it would catch fire. i can reproduce it every time i add a drop of from my bottle of vg to the wick then start dry burning. flame lasts as long as i hold the ecig fire button. then flame dies out.

Top, are you absolutely sure that vg is really vg? Flames is one I have not heard before. I vaped a lot of 100% vg (Humco brand, I assume from Walmart) last fall when I burned my mouth and I drip into 510 attys exclusively and have not come close to seeing something like that. What atty/ohms and at what volts? I have popped a coil before but that was during a dry burn at too high voltage.

Are you using cotton wick?

When you dry-burn, the coil gets a lot hotter than in normal vaping (which is kind of the whole point of dry-burning!). Glycerine has a flash point of about 320 degrees F, and the coil can easily get a lot hotter than that, since there isn't much fluid keeping it cool. For cleaning the wick, I think water is a much better choice when dry-burning.

Have only heard that some forums/threads are being moved - not gone. I don't know if that will be true in any social forum....I've seen a few rumblings about it in the vendor forums though (ie Provari).

I think Provari Nation is all set up in the groups area. It's going to take some time to get used to. There's no "LIKE" button!!!

Wow. I did not know that. I don't know why but I did not think you would get flames with vg, or any juice in the atty. Learn something new all the time. Thanks.

Silica wick. Vg will burn, requires preheating. Was 4.2 volts on a 2.4 ohm dripper with the drip tip and top third removed. I guess if I ever need to light a cigarette I know how without a lighter... lol.

Pif is a social group so this thread is basically the definition of social. The main problem is cluttering up other sections of the forum with fan clubs and such making real info hard to find. As far as I understand it - They'll be restricted to vendor forums and other social groups.

Lox, why not just put a fan club section - vaping related and make it easy?

Nice tip I found for drill bits and similar things with no handle... wrap some tape around where the handle would be so you have something to "squish" the coil against before you take it off to fire it.

Top, try pg, its the normal flavor-carrier and seems to dilute out the flavor a bit more as you dry burn. It will still flame up at times but you might also consider dry-burning at a lower voltage since all you're doing is turning the juice left over on the coil to ash and getting it off so you can change flavors or clean up.

Also, its common when you oxidize a ss mesh wick to drop some unflavored juice on it and light it on fire a time or two (see pbusardo's video on the aga-t build).

It goes out on its own pretty quick even when lit with a lighter.

Is there a discount code or something? I don't see a sale mentioned on the site. I'm probably too late!!

No, the sale's still going on. (Look at the "St. Patrick's Day" banner.) But it's confusing.

When you add a bottle to your cart, it takes $3 off each bottle, so the flavors that are listed at 4.99 become 1.99, the flavors at 5.99->2,99. You don't see this until you put them in your cart; then it shows the "Discount" just above the total.

Thanks for clarifying that for me, I've got 7 bottles on the way, including shipping came to less than $20. I'm starting to get excited about buying vendor liquids again, it's been a while and the bitter disappointment has faded. We've talked up Killer Juice a lot, thanks! I got a few old standby flavors and a few untried but sound yummy. Fingers crossed. . .

Oh, hi everyone! Have a happy Friday and a great weekend!!!!!
