Hey Everyone, It has been crazy here lately.

Just over a week ago I fractured a vertebra in my back due to an abnormal heart condition. Of course if anyone asks, I got into an elevator with Ray Rice... or I was base jumping off my couch, or...(I have a million excuses to explain this stupid brace.)

Anyways since I passed out a few times, the ER ran an ECG and Chest X-Ray. (Among other things.) On the Chest X-ray they did find an "abnormal growth" which is seriously making me think I need to stop smoking sooner rather than later. So if someone would be kind enough to post a link to aroma I would appreciate it. Hopefully I can find some flavored WTA I like well enough to help me kick the habit.

On a happier note, I had some family in from out of town that I haven't seen since I moved here. It was a nice visit.

Time for some pain meds, and to maybe catch up on some stuff on the DVR.

Thanks everyone for the well-wishing. Let me clarify. None of the ER Docs seemed concerned by the Chest X-ray. I'm not thinking the C word or anything, but it's still a wake up call. The back and heart thing... I need to see some specialists. Hoping for the best.

U.S. banks are really on my "S" list right now. (It's a big list let me tell you.) IF they would've chipped the cards like they did in Europe all of these store data breaches would not be happening. I think we the people should get together and force congress to hold these companies like Target and Home Depot to be liable if our sensitive data is stolen while in their possession. Especially if they are just going to collect it, and keep it forever every time we make a purchase without our permission. As is stands now, there is zero liability for them under the current banking laws. That is wrong.

Granted credit cards WILL be chipped next year but that will not fix all the problems we're still having. Buying anything online with a credit card will still be just as dangerous as it is right now. Hate to be a downer but there is no quick fix on the horizon that I am aware of.

The problem with that is Ahlusion will not accept them.

That makes me very leery of dealing with them. Had mine for several years and thats the first place I have heard of that wouldn't accept them.

The credit card thing happened to me at target, I had to get three new cards, that sucks because you set up payments and such and have to re set them up.....
My car insurance got all screwed up with that one! I thought I changed it but I didn't and then I was behind a month ugh anyway.

Had a rough last few days. I have some WTA on the way, thanks to an awesome person sending me some! On a positive note we got our Halloween decorations up yesterday. Need a few more items but otherwise we are good to go!

Happy Stinking Monday everyone! I'm at work but not gladly, not bright-eyed, and not bushy-tailed. (Whatever that is supposed to mean, anyway!) Looking forward to lunch and go-home-o'clock, that's about all!

Knee still sore but much more manageable than before, think it's on the mend. Kids are both playing hooky from school today with a virus, that I had and played hooky from work on Friday. Guess I brought that one home, not them, seeing as how I was the first to suffer. Can't really complain I guess. . .well, of course I can always complain, but today I won't!!

I think I finally converted my sister to vaping (unflavored ONLY she hates every flavor I ever let her try!) and her husband liked a few from my arsenal so I left him about 10 bottles. The only device I had to share was a tiny ego stealth vape in my favorite green color that my very dear friend Lori sent me for a gift, so I let them borrow it under threat of death and dismemberment if they break or lose it. All my leftover ego devices are dead and will no longer hold a charge. I guess it's time to hit up FT again, if I'm going to continue to supply the world with equipment I'm going to have to buy it on the cheap!!

Oh, and RIP my glass driptip that's on my profile page, it took a little (okay a big) tumble onto their tile kitchen floor and now is cracked and missing a large chunk on the mouthpiece. That may be the longest I've ever owned anything fragile in my life!!

Glad to hear you're feeling a *tiny* bit better, FQ... and condolences on the driptip; I also broke one of my favorites yesterday, a white ceramic that matched my white vv3, hit the tile floor HARD and the driptip broke right off, had to dig the rest of it out of the kayfun. But thank god the kayfun and vv3 survived the crash; those would be a little more costly to replace. Hate that early morning clumsiness, stupid elbows, stupid crowded kitchen counter; I break more stuff in the first 30 mins after waking than all the rest of the time put together.

Hope everyone else is still hanging tough, or just otherwise hanging in. Glad to hear your WTA is on the the way, sparkly one!

Fq still hanging in there. The vet called up hubby today, they feel just horrible about my Bruce, said they had some kittens, I went up there but I just couldn't take one home yet....poor little oogie is still running around crazy. I know she needs a little playmate. When it is meant to be it will! The vet assistant just started crying when I teared up.

The good news I got a special package today of WTA and net! Cleaning up my gear tonight to get it loaded up! And I also got some blueberry muffin.

Oh no on the drip tips! I had two glass ones, one broke the other I am very careful with but an still scared!

Well, whatever the dr finds, I hope it is minor and can be taken care of easily. If what you had was life threatening they never would have let you out of the ER and would have called a Specialist in to see you. The big Liability word at work.

I had to report another fraud charge on my card this past week. I had Citibank issue me a new card with new #. It is one of the ones with a chip in it. It is called a 'Global' card because of the chip. Citi rep said that a few companies have the readers that will read the chip but most don't have to have them until sometime next year or 2016. The retailer has to get a special card reader to read the chip. The card will work on what is out there now, just the chip is worthless for now. Of course, it is worthless with online stuff.

Citibank does offer a 'virtual' credit card # for one time transactions online. I will be using this method for future online purchases. I will look into it and let you all know how much of a pita it is to use it. Never use a Debit card. There are no protections.

I spoke with Wlad, the owner of Ahlusion, on the phone today. He says that the website will accept a prepaid credit card as long as it is registered with the cc issuer with your address. That is different than what is stated on their website. They will also accept the virtual cc transactions but will not accept phone orders because they will not take cc info in their hands. Just through the card readers in their physical stores or through the website.

I am satisfied. I will continue to order from Ahlusion, but with a 'virtual' credit card #. I am going to do this with all online purchases from now on.

No protections? My bank credited me the money back, the day after I made the report. Sent me some paperwork, which I took to my local branch, signed, they notarized it for me and sent it off to their fraud investigators.

It's a PITA but I felt completely protected. Though I do plan to talk with them, and see if they may offer that one-time virtual card number thing; that really would be helpful, with all the online purchases I make.

I meant to tell you, sparkle, what I discovered when I mixed up my last batch -- I also add another flavor to make it so yummy; you may like the blueberry muffin just as it is, but if it's not sweet enough to you, try adding either some sweetener, or a sweeter ejuice that goes well with blueberries -- I add some Banana Nut Bread, from High Desert Vapes, and I get that with an extra flavor shot; it adds more of that "bottom," cakey note, more of that muffin taste, and a bit more sweetness, and softness because of the pastry/cakey flavor. I've always liked the taste of blueberries with banana nut bread. There's a resort here in GA called Calloway Gardens; when I was a child, we visited there once, and on the breakfast bar at the hotel they had fresh-baked banana nut bread, fresh blueberries, and real whipped creme -- good lord that was delicious!

ALSO: my next order of WTA, I think I'm going to try out the "Kiss of Sweet" from wholecig, for adding to this sweet mix, in their 25mg strength, since it's 100% VG; that way I can mix one part WTA to 2 parts PG, to bring it to 8.33mg and 67PG/33VG; much better proportions on both nic and PG/VG, to mix with the blueberry muffin/banana nut bread.

Oh I am protected dollar wise. It is just that this is the second time I got hit in a month and I am angry. I had to cancel the card 2x and go through the aggravation of it all. The second time my card had not even had a chance to get dirty. Just too much fraud out there. Virtual cards for me online from now on.

I suppose it's inherent in any "new" technology -- the first thing some people will think of is how to have sex with it -- and I suppose all of us know about the avalanche of internet porn! And then the next thing some folks will think of is how to use it to exploit/steal from/victimize others, to enrich themselves at the expense of everyone else.

There's always that 10% that screw up things for everybody.

I agree about the virtual card; I need to talk to my bank about that ASAP.

That's cool! I don't think I've yet given the Blueberry Muffin a *chance* to steep. But I do know that High Desert Vapes' Banana Nut Bread benefits hugely from steeping; when it first arrives, it almost tastes like some kind of not-very-sweet banana liqueur, but after a week or two, it begins to taste like it's supposed to.

And the mix that I make, with both of the flavors and some WTA, does benefit from a week or so in the drawer. But I realized last night that I hadn't gotten enough of the banana nut bread flavor into the mix, because it just wasn't very sweet, or very dark -- the banana nut bread is nearly black. After I added some more, it was MUCH better, and I realized that if you tasted the blueberry muffin by itself, it might be a little disappointing.

I think using the Kiss of Sweet WTA will probably help it alot too, but can't order any until a week from today -- payday!

I did a similar thing about 20 yrs ago, though I was actually trying to loosen a stuck wooden-framed window. Note to self: in a fight between hand and glass, glass wins, punishes hand.
