I'm here. :D

Does anyone know where I can find XL, 2-hole, single-coil, 2.5-3.2 ohm FLANGED cartos... for $1.50 or less? Both IBT and IKV are STILL out of stock on those, dang it all, don't they ever order new stock?!?!?!? So my only option is LJ's Esmokes, $1.52 for those. Gotta have the flange, be high-resistance, XL, single-coil, and pre-punched. Arghh! And wouldn't you know it, it's payday, and I'm in the roll-up towards 3 months, and Wholecig is OUT OF STOCK! on the Kiss of Sweet WTA. Dang it all again! I could order some ethyl maltol crystals, but I swear I don't have the foggiest idea how to measure out crystals to make something I could add to ejuice. :grr:

I finally got my vapish website up and running... It's a bit lacking at the moment, gotta get some more content up there, but it's at http://vapefight.crypticsites.com if anyone cares to see it. It's running, but still a work in progress.

No, those aren't flanged cartos. Won't work in a smok UDCT. Guess I'll just have to go with LJ's Esmokes.

I decided to just go with Aroma's "best blueberry pancakes" WTA ejuice, since I'm going to be adding it to blueberry muffin/banana nut bread; it's just $12 even if I get the 24mg, and I can dilute with PG to bring both the mg and PG/VG to levels I can tolerate, so that's a better buy than the Kiss of Sweet anyway. So neener, wholecig; snooze you lose, go out of stock and lose a sale.

I was delighted that when it actually came time to order, IBtanked finally got their 3-ohm XLs back in stock! So I got their quantity discount on those!

Got all my ejuice and WTA and cartos ordered... now, hmm, wonder if I can talk the spouse into another $35.00 for that mech I've been wanting... hmmmmmmm... ;)

Andria what mech are you looking at getting?

At the moment, I don't really know anymore. I was looking at one I found on slo-tech, "Galileo," because the specs showed that it was just 21mm, and it has a tapered top, so narrower attys wouldn't look goofy on it. Then I read the reviews of it there at slo-tech, and apparently theirs is just a clone, and not a very well-made one. So I searched on Google, found that the Galileo is actually made by Smoktech, and not very costly, $34.95 at Vapor Beast, however all the specs I've been able to find about that *real* Galileo show 23mm, so even with the tapered top, it still might look fairly goofy with a slender atty. I'm still leaning to the Galileo because a) it has both 510 and ego threading, b) it's telescoping so using a Kick with it shouldn't be a problem, and c) it's still inexpensive, even the authentic one (and very nice looking!), but I just dunno. I'd really like to find a slender mech that uses regular 18xxx batteries, as I've got 10 of the things and don't want to invest in any other sizes since none of my other mods would use them, but slender mechs that are actually decent seem very difficult if not impossible to find.

Okay calling all lurkers!! Let's see some smiles, some frowns, something from you. Come and play with me!!!

:p

Just popping in for a moment to say hello
wave.gif
and see how everyone is doing!

I've been back to full-on smoking (smacking self:facepalm:), and I'm trying to get back my incentive to vape. My "work incentive to vape" was totally blown -- I came back to work from my surgery only to find out that vaping had been totally banned thanks to an idiot (that I had gotten into vaping!) -- he had been talking to a client, took out his ecig, took a puff -- and then blew the vape directly into the client's face! If that were not bad enough, it ends up the client has a disability, and she totally freaked out thinking that the vape was going to kill her. I'm hoping work will eventually reconsider the vaping ban, but that's a lot to overcome.

So, I need something else to get me going again. Maybe clouds??? I got to try sub-ohm, and I have to admit that I loved the huge cloud of vape (though I about choked to death!). I don't trust myself to build them though. Has anyone tried the Kanger 0.8 coils?

I'm so glad to hear from you!!! Hopefully your surgery went well and you feel much better, considering you are back at work. Yes to vaping at work, NO to blowing in client's face! Boo hiss! We have been "banned" only at the "smoker's gazebo" but I sneak a puff inside every chance I get. Don't tattle on me, ok?

I haven't embraced the sub-ohm thing yet, but there are several very knowledgable individuals active on the thread right now who are. Good luck!!

That really bites, about your co-worker and the ban.

At the time I got sick, I had been just starting to experiment with flavors other than the Virginia that was my ADV for quite a few months; when I got back into vaping, I did include that Virginia flavor, since I was once again trying to shed the cigarettes that the Virginia tasted like, but I also found that sweeter flavors were beginning to be a lot more appealing. Now, though I still grab the Virginia after eating and when I first get up in the morning, the sweeter flavors are really my ADV. So, maybe just a flavor change-up?

Hi Erised!!! So very happy to hear from you. Glad to hear you are back to work and hope the knee is feeling much better. Sorry to hear you can not vape at work anymore. We all know that it only takes one or two bad apples to ruin it for all. You seem to work with one.

With the surgery and all don't sweat the cigarettes for now. I am glad to know that at least you are thinking about how to spark that vaping desire again. The sub ohm stuff to me is like a totally different type of vaping animal/experience. For me it is a very 'smack you in the face' type of vaping and I can do a couple of puffs of it once in a blue moon but don't think I would be good with it on a daily basis. I am more of a chain vaper, using my Kayfun and Provari and a couple of juices I vape like I smoked. But that is me.

There are several people in this thread that are into sub ohm and can probably direct you to a good mech and atty setup. Not me, though. I believe there is a whole sub ohm section here on ECF now. I think there is a link in this thread.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...op-reference-shop-new-experienced-vapers.html

I have read very little regarding the .8ohm Kanger coils so far, but I normally do not frequent the sub ohm stuff. All the people I know doing sub ohm are building their own coils and using rda and rba attys.

Pop in more often and chat. Love hearing from you and I hope this finds you well.

Fq did not see any posts through the night...
Hahah the weather hear has just turned to chilly! Time to break out the hoodies!
And the fall juice have a caramel apple, and pumpkin pie with vanilla custard! Yummy

Just where exactly does one obtain such a delight? Spill!!!!

People think I'm weird, but I love pumpkin spice (coffee/cookies/cake/cheesecake/etc.) and the DIY version turned out to be less than stellar.

I spent most of the night researching dripping and ordering up some 510 atty's and a drip shield. I feel like I'm going backwards, when I started vaping an Ego had a cartridge and I turned renegade, took the filling out of the cartridge and used it as a dripper. Well, let's just say I moved on to a tank system pretty quickly. Tried rebuildables, tried all kinds of cartos/clearos, but I never gave dripping a fair chance. Now I'm finding myself with lots of flavors and wanting to bounce from one to the other really quickly with no fuss, old school atty dripping seems like just what I need to learn!

Happy Friday everyone!!!!
