Get a nice stealth setup and you can vape virtually anywhere... For example, hide your vape inside a cup and figure out how to hit the fire button... Attach a straw to your drip tip... Take shorter vapes + hold it in a bit, breathing in before & after your vape to thin out the cloud and it'll basically be impossible to catch you unless you tell someone.

I never tried stealth vaping, don't think I will. Not trying to be a snob or anything, it's about perception. The act of trying to hide something implies that you're doing something wrong. Me, I vape where it's allowed and I never hide it.

I am the same way I treat it like cigarettes and only vape where I would be able to smoke.... except maybe some of the places where smoking wasn't allowed even though it should have been... such as at a Orioles baseball game outside.... you know the places outdoors that have the "designated smoking area" amusement parks and such

Oh I was stealth vaping before. But it's nice that I can do it without needing to stealth. I mean places I can openly do it

I openly do it in hospitals when I go. Not around people, but hospitals IMO are easy to find spaces where no one is around. Like super duper easy. And then even if people are around (that you may not notice), chances are good they are in their own little world and don't really care, unless somehow you were to be obnoxious with your exhale.

Every time I've had attitude of 'vape like I belong there' I do well. But sometimes, I act (and probably look) a little paranoid which may not go over so well.

From what I think you are saying in OP, I was pleasantly surprised that Home Depot was very okay with vaping inside their store, or at least they were months ago when I was in there (and I asked).

Actually, I'm also pleasantly surprised when friends who are non-smokers are like, "sure go right ahead, of course you can use that thing in my house."

I was allowed to vape at the respiratory treatment center in our local hospital (Was at work). The doctor himself endorsed me. That was pretty unexpected and a fun experience :)

... Ohh and i was allowed to vape onboard flying with a Norwegian 737. I am scared .... less of flying and vaping kind of took the edge off also a plus experience in my book!

I vape in large box stores all the time. Now... I like to think I'm respectful about it. Normally I choose an EMPTY aisle or area when I take a toot... if someone comes in my area i stop until I find another secluded area. When I see some one in the middle of a check-out line blowing clouds, it makes me cringe... It's not the way to condition the public.
There was a really good article a couple of weeks ago... The point was 98% of the people in public have know idea you are vaping until they see the exhale. Most liquids actually have a very light fruity or floral smell on exhale (yes there are some that Virge on foul...know your juice) So maybe keep your TOBHs and Nimbuses at home are in the car and use something a bit more reasonable for places where most people think an MVP means Most Valuable Person.

I don't try to hide it either, but I will stay discreet when circumstances dictate it - i.e. don't blow huge clouds inside a railway station for instance. You can easily stealth-vape with a big mod if you don't appear to exhale any vapor.

As for the latest unusual place I've vaped at, it was in a sauna. It's a strange experience to vape around four naked Finnish men who are used to minding their own business and do their best to stare at the floor inside a sauna, yet are dying to take a peek at that strange thing you're using :)

I only snuck around one time...it was at the Doctor's office and it was already an hour and a half past my appointment time. He had a private bathroom so I went in there a couple of times.

But 99% of the time I don't vape where smoking is not allowed. I just wish restaurants around here would have "vaping" areas. I feel no need to vape in the store but its nice to have a vape after a good meal!

Anywhere i want including work, supermarket, restaurants, bars, my bosses car lol. I show courtesy and ask first a lot of the time, but have never been told no. UK appear to be a lot less anti-vaping then USA, but if they were as stringent over here i'd just be an outlaw anyway, i'm a rebel like that lol

I never even try anywhere around here. Small town, no one knows what vapeing is. Honestly, we don't have a single vape shop! But I do visit the dog park almost everyday and I vape there. I mean it is outside. But just yesterday I was vapeing and a woman came up and said, "I don't want to get :censored: there's no smoking here!" I explained what it was, she just replied that she herd those were dangerous. The thing that surprised me the most, I was using a Reo. How do people mistake a black box mod with a cigarette?

With the perceptions that people have about vaping, I only do so where smoking is allowed. At my last job, we were allowed to vape in the break room; there were several of us.

When vapers only vape in smoking areas, the understandable perception the uninformed will have, is that it is the same as smoking and just as dangerous.

Instead, if one vapes most places, but does so respectfully and with common sense and is prepared to educate the uninformed, then many of us have found acceptance and understanding by the general public.

I almost never* vape in a designated smoking area, so as not to confuse bystanders. (*Except when I'm with smoking friends.)

I have made it a habit lately to always have an ecig in my hand when I go out, even when I have no intention to use it. So far, no one has stopped me to ask about it, but hope springs...
