What causes a dry hit, when the JC is fully open?
Looks to me based on the pix that Svoemesto did not follow the example given by ProVape.
Lets count the threads together... One, Two, Three.
Yes, Three, Thats where Svoemesto stopped. ProVape has at least Two more.
Remember to divide the ProVape 510 in half from the bottom to the top.
Jim
So that's your solution, run an adaptor? or did I miss something?
What if, for example, they were given when manufacturing initially started months back didn't hold true to the final, retail version P3?Svoemesto clearly did not copy the simple 510 adapter threads produced by ProVape.
The visible difference says that Svoemesto did not do that.
Pretty simple... I suppose ProVape said: Here is an example of the P3 threads and chamfer to duplicate.
Svoemesto did not do that. The Gripe and Failure falls squarely on them, Svoemesto.
Make Svoemesto make it right. (period)
That is all, Jim

But Jim, not every P3 connector is a failure, so what's up with that?
Just a question, to consider..
Thanks,
R
In response I will say that every, and I mean every ProVape 510 adapter will fit any, and I mean any P3.
So where is the fault?
Yeah, but whose to say the adapter didn't change before final manufacturing process too? ProVape makes the 510 adapter, so the fact it fits isn't proof that SM is at fault for theirs not fitting. In response I will say that every, and I mean every ProVape 510 adapter will fit any, and I mean any P3.

Should there be a fault? The threads on my P3 look the same as the ones in the pic by the user in which it did not fit. Still, I don't know, man..

Look dude, if you can't see the fail when you look at your P3 connection, then consider yourself lucky: ignorance is truly bliss.
BTW, the Aspire P3 connector is identical to the Svoemesto version, and they're equally ......ed in my eyes
I also see the fail in the Svoemesto attempt at a smooth P3 transition adapter.
It didn't happen.
I'll wait for the 23mm 510 base for the V4, and some other fixes before I plop down my 2 bills.
23mm 510 accessory base is available now Astro
I never even considered it might be a threading problem, just assumed the whole SM P3 section below the base (including the threads) was too long. But after seeing your post, and that the P3 top cap threading doesn't go all the down, it very well could be. I remembered the large beveled section on the ProVape 510 adapter so grabbed a comparison shot of the two.

I'd have to disagree that the Provari is out of tolerance based on my picture above of the large beveled section at the bottom of the ProVape 510 adapter. ProVape made it this way, for whatever reason. SvoeMesto needs to conform to their specs.
