What are they doing to prevent the chimney from screwing down as the top cap is replaced?

That's what I'm saying...it didn't make sense to me.
The people on that forum came across as very weird...definitely not ECF material...so, I'm less inclined to want to try their method, especially considering I have no VG dominant juices...
I'm more interested in trying my KF4 chimney/tank assembly on a KFL base...that is a rabbit worth chasing!
I'll probably only run my KF4 for one more day before I break it down and re wick; so I'll have a look at it on a KF3.1 base and see what impressions I get when actually able to see the combo.

I'm not even that turned off by no windows on the V4 as i just unscrew the top cap and peer into the "juice holes" in that top most piece... though without that part in this tank... i can probably just take off the fill/drip tip 510 portion and check juice levels.

Yeah, I'm not feeling the chain-link-fence look. Lovin the 6.5ml, but not sure I could deal with the height. Anyone know if that's going to include a completely new Evaporation Chamber, or is it just an add-on of some sort?

Same here. The jc makes this a very tall head as is. I have one on a 4nine for a small concealable, looks a little silly as the v4 is longer than the 4nine. With the 6.5 tank.... Will look ridiculous, & no longer concealable nor small.
I could very well be wrong, but I don't think the two SS tanks are meant to be used with the extended chimney. Some quick scaling and semi-transparent overlays. Are they the same size as the plastic tank?
ahhh, I think you may be right, their site does say they're 22mm. Maybe there will be a 23mm SS long tank in the future
