Well, this is encouraging! I am trying to quit cigs right now. I smoke(d) 2 to 2-1/2 packs a day of full flavor menthol cigs. I've tried just about every method to quit that I could find, including all the prescription medications, but have ben unable to find anything that helps. I had even tried an e-cig a few years back, but I had a bad experience with it. It was the Pro Smoke, and it never really worked right, so eventually I packed it all up and sent it back to them for a refund. Recently, money has become a serious issue for me, and I have been spending 300-400 dollars a month on cigarettes! So, I started doing some reading online, and found several sites with information about assembling your own e-cig. I have put together a nice 510 e-cig using cartomizers. It's good, but I keep thinking it good get better, so I have an eGo on the way to me in the mail. I'm down to just over a pack a day atm. I had no idea where to start with e-juice nicotine content, so I started with the 12mg, then went to 18mg, and today I got my first bottle of 24mg. The 24mg seems much more satisfying to me, and so far today I have only smoked 3 cigarettes since I juiced up the first cartomizer with it and started vaping. That was 5 hours ago, so having only smoked 3 real cigs iss really great for me! I don't know, but I am hoping that with the eGo and the 24mg e-juice, I can just flat-out quit. For now, if I can keep it at 1 pack or less, I figure that's pretty good.
Anyway, I enjoyed reading your post! It's nice to read what others have gone thru trying to make the switch. I'm going to read on and see what others are saying. Congrats on quitting though!!
