Yea shopping on dhgate is like Russian roulette. The blue flask is available on 3fvape small screen.

Maybe, but sxk has referenced dhgate as their factory direct avenue. Further, they responded to my question in about four minutes through the site.

Could the person confirm the big screen and price point? It's just hard to shop on dhgate if they post two different mods and you can add to cart , then have to talk to someone to distinguish with model you want.

Yea, those bb buttons on the Nebula are making me lean toward the VS.

Those BB tactile buttons are not as stiff as Hana's. Not hard at all on fingers or thumbs. SXK just went for the look of the BB style. They're actually squishy with decent click.

My poor Nebby hasn't seen much use as of late. I'm gonna have to take her out for a bit later and show her some love. I gotta find some place to get some stainless steel wire too. Gonna try it out on my Nebby.

You're US? Postage to US might be quite dear but the wire is very cheap, and they have an additional 12.5% discount this weekend (code CRAYCRAY14815): Crazy Wire - Stainless Steel Wire

It's the SS317L that I've used so far and find to be good. But I just ordered some 304 on Friday for comparison - it seemingly has a very slightly higher TCR in the vaping temp range.

Ya I'm in the states. How about this? Amazon.com - Beadalon 24 Gauge Artistic Wire, Stainless Steel, 20-Yard - Jewelry Making Wire

It's 304 so I can't personally speak for how it vapes, though I can't see why it would be much different to 317. I'll have some of my own next week so I'll try it then - though if there's subtle differences in taste, I won't be able to tell :)

In terms of TC accuracy I think it will likely be basically the same. It might have a slightly better TCR, but that won't apply with the granularity of SXK's Nickel Purity.

So only issue with that wire is it's only available as 24 G which is quite thick. But if you know you can work with that in your atomizers, it'll be fine.

I'm gonna get it. I hear SS has just as much resistance per foot as kanthal. Ya I've tried everything to remedy SXK's choppy TC. Only 2 ways I found to calm that pulsing down- set wattage, NP, temp just low enough to almost hit my set temp or use a thick wire so when the chip does start cutting wattage in and out I don't notice because the wire is thick enough to hold heat much longer between pulses, not as sensitive to heat dissipation. If that makes any sense. As for me being able to taste subtle differences between wires, forget it. Now a days I get the general taste with my vapes. It's almost to the point where as long as my vape tastes kinda sweet I'm happy, LOL. I have to put my mod down for a few hours to get my vape buds back.

Sorry to hear that, but also kind of glad I'm not the only one :) That's how it is for me most of the time. I did DIY for a while to save money, but having non-premium liquid meant half the time I was pretty much tasting nothing at all - even when mixing recipes that people were raving over. So I've gone back to buying proper juice where I can generally taste at least something nice, even if it's only one out of four of the flavours that the description and the reviews state should be there :)

I try to always have at least four tanks/mods on the go, so that I rotate flavours each vape - that helps keep each one more flavourful. If I keep vaping the some one exclusively, I lose the taste of it much faster. I've got five on my desk right now.

Have you tried any of the 'fancy' coils? Like Claptons? When I first stated vaping I tried a few fancy ones - lots of different twisted wires (Kanthal at the time), and even some of those crazy coils that RIP Tripper on YouTube shows, like the Diamond Coil. Never noticed a difference in flavour. Now I keep it simple : 2x twisted at most, and that's usually only for Resistherm which is only available in 29G. With Titanium I'm just using simple 26G, 8 wraps. I do keep meaning to try a Clapton sometime, as so many people rave about it. I expect to be disappointed though.

Nor have I ever noticed a huge flavour difference with RDAs. When I first started vaping I got the impression that RDAs were meant to be the ultimate for flavour. But now I wonder if that was simply old info, comparing them to cartomizers or the old crappy Nautilus type tanks. I can get OK flavour from my Magma and Lancia RDAs, both of which have under-coil airflow, but it's never better than my good flavour tanks - Aqua SE, Aqua v2 (clones), Goblin Mini, and others. I figure that nowadays RTAs should be the ultimate for flavour because they all have under-coil airflow, and they have much smaller chimneys so there's more opportunity for the airflow to concentrate the vapour. Maybe I've just not found the right RDA, but I'm yet to find one that I felt was giving unusually good flavour whereas the RTAs can sometimes do that (though it's incredibly variable for me, and I still have no idea why.)

If you haven't tried the Aqua SE (authentic only, $80) or Aqua v2 (clones from $25) I can highly recommend them as great tanks all round, and great for flavour particularly. And I've been quite impressed with the new Goblin Mini by UD - it has an unusually wide airflow slot, so unlike most other devices you get airflow across the whole width of the coil, even when it's spaced and/or big. And a compact chimney.

Hope you find a good solution for your SXK TC, though it's never going to be particularly smooth I'm afraid. More metal and therefore more residual heat does sound like a good idea to try.

As for rta's, I have at least 3 to 4 setups ready to go at any time. 1) Vaporshark RDNA, Goblin, Ti build. 2) SXK Nebula, Lemo Drop, kanthal build. 3) p4you IPV D2, Kayfun Monster V2 clone, ni200 build. 4) Vaporshark DNA40, Kanger subtank mini with rebuilt occ head with Ti build and bored out juice holes. All have good good flavor with the Goblin being the best out of those I listed. IMG_20150816_002947-1.jpg I have a few rdas, but they see little use. I usually use my derringer rda clone when I get a new juice to test it before I fill an entire tank.
