ok i have a problem. Pros doing something wrong. Whatever atty i put on this thing in Joule mode it reads 0.14 ohm resistance. If I change to power, it reads right pretty much but goes back to 0.14 when i change back to joules. Ni, Ti, magma or subtank same result.....any ideas?? Vapes fine with kanthal in power mode...help!!

Are you setting the resistance by pressing both the up / down buttons at the same time while both the device and atty are at room temp?

Vlad,

Where did you get Version 1.4 from. The only thing on their site is V1.2?

It came with v1.4 If you hold the fire button down while inserting battery it will tell you what ver. you have. I don't know if there are any M class on anything other than 1.4 from factory.

Edit:
I asked earlier because Technonut said he didn't exhibit the same behavior.

NP.. I'm certain plenty of folks are anxious to get rolling, and overlook the manual... ;)

Boy Technonut, I am sure glad you spotted what the problem was. I was getting all shaky thinking oh-no here we go with the SXmini starting to rack up bugs. For all the folks that didn't read the manual I'll bet they now have a statue of you sitting on a gold thrown for fixing their beloved SXmini's. :toast:

Me too by the mine is do tomorrow and I am sure I wouldn't have read the manual. I thought those things were just so they could charge more for shipping. :D

I have a Vaporshark DNA40, Hana v4m, and a SX Mini. I think the SX is a great device, but I don't know why they made the M bigger and heavier than the S. It was already bigger and heavier than the Vaporshark and Hana. Aren't things supposed to get smaller and lighter as technology improves? Otherwise we'd still have big fob watches in our pockets instead of small wristwatches, be walking around Motorola DynaTAC behemoths instead of tiny iPhones, and have projection TV boxes in our dens instead of thin LCD flat screens.

An APV is just a battery and a simple power regulation chip. If Apple can put a computer on your wrist with the iWatch, why can't we make a TC mod the size of an ego battery? While I'll never go back to cigarettes, I do miss how thin and light they were. But I love vaping enough to continue sucking on temperature controlled brick mods in the meantime.

Thanks Vlad,

I had downloaded the drivers and update getting ready for the bid day. But it looks like the Mfg. is ahead of me.

Salute,

I think that's just a case of their web guy not being in sync with production, or they haven't updated the user installer package with the latest firmware yet, so 1.2 is the latest you can download, just not the latest.

I am sure your right but I do remember reading two warning on their site.
1. Don't adj. the center pin just because it looks like a screw.
2. Your in deep do-do if your load the wrong software.

You guys save my backside - Big Time. I have a fetish about keeping software updates updated.

It was a materials choice. You'll note that the iPhone kept getting heavier too.

And many people like some heft when paying top dollar for a device, that hand feel is a big selling point for a lot of folks, it's a physical indication of quality. It's why Samsung just went to heavier premium materials for their Galaxy line after years of durable and lightweight plastic phones, because the majority of the market wanted their $600+ flagship device to feel like it was worth it.

Yihi's just doing a variation on that theme, and also showing the HEMO types that they can build with the best of them, to prove a point.

i swear to god I have just taken about 40 hits off this bloody dripper and its still going. Tasteless, and not a lot of vapour but the damn thing is still going..The things I do in the interest of curiosity.....I will dry it out though or die in the attempt...Never surrender..

I'm doing the same thing right now with a subtank mini. Keep drawing on it and drawing on it then looking down to see an empty tank but it's still vaping. :) I think there's little gremlin's in there making juice.
