I would just like to say coming from someone who is considering buying an SX Mini M Class, all the speculative posts from people that don't even own the device is really making is difficult to get good information from actual user experience.

And quoting what is seen or posted elsewhere is of little value as well.

I will continue to watch this thread in the hopes that the BS stops and real life information gets through.

Aha you are right must have had something plugged into it wrong. Now does anyone run a .065ohm coil like they recommend for the best performance? 4 wraps seems pretty small to me. Finally something you don't have to put 10 wraps on if you don't want. .065 seems awfully low to me but that was their recommendation. think I'll try 7 or 8. Has anyone tried a microcoil?

There are a few YT vids out there that show folks using microcoils... Some successful, and some not so much. From what I've experienced so far, you can't really go wrong with a spaced coil build. If you have something like a coil master, I'd say keep using it to make your coils, and once your done just grab both ends and give it a little tug. Should come out pretty evenly spaced.

If you're searching for vids, try a search for Ni200 microcoils. They won't necessarily be using them on an SXmini though, just FYI. I think the coils are pretty universal between all the TC devices though.

Point taken!

In my initial, or second, post after receiving the SX mini M-class I said "Wow!" That continues to be true as I continue to use the device. Why "Wow"?

An extremely consistent vape, smooth, generating both enhanced flavor on my AD/ED liquid (the bottle is in the pic I posted) and excellent vapor (moist and dense). Tailoring the vape with the temp & J/Watt *sec ;) is simply superb. And, on and on like that. As an experienced vaper you will be pleased to get the vape you want with relative ease.

The menu system is now just about second nature with (nearly) every adjustment you could want at your finger tips. As with any new device the ergonomics require a period of actual usage. Switching from the mini to the other two form factors I own has also become second nature.

Not going to sell you, or, gush: All 'round this is device not to be missed. Will I buy a second right away. Curiously no, because I am sure the next iteration will knock my socks off. And of course the M-Class lights a fire to the tail (or feet) of the competition. I bet VS is at this very moment looking for a Chinese mfg to build a dual battery version of the 350J chip, its current contractual obligations notwithstanding.

2legs,

Are you talking about a contact micro coil if so I wouldn't recommend it. Besides didn't you already try that with Ni200?

I got mine Wednesday a week ago and the extension for "battleaxe"(120w) mode this past Monday. After a year of vaping everything from mechs, provari, and dnamods(all boards) this mod is easily the best combination of technology, durability, ease of use and stellar consistent performance.

That goes for temp limiting and power mode.

A dual parallel 24g build in my clt3 choked me out of the room and a flavor build with ni200 in my aquav2 and erlkoengin was smoother than anything I've had.

If you're on the fence I would say pounce on it before the reviews come out and they get hard to find.

The best thing unlike the DNA, the firmware is upgradeable and I'm still shocked at this build quality for 200$.

.

I bet Sieglei will jump on this, the 150 watt already has the YH SX330 in it so it wouldn't be too hard to swap in the chip and it would be a nice box for those who like the dual battery form factor.

I thought I read somewhere that sigelei and P4u were both getting a similar variation of the sx330 100w chip that has Temp Limiting. I know several peeopl are chomping at the but for the ipv4, due out any day now.

That would be no surprise considering yihi only sells the SX330 series to them two (initially). Sigelei is probably next in line, or all ready getting the boards. That is just my guess, but it would not surprise me at all if sigelei has a mod based on that board out soon as well.

roger, a few weeks back I thought it said on their page that it was only for two companies, no longer says that.

YiHi explains why joules is a meaningful value to users regarding vapor production but they don't indicate why they chose joules for a user input value in the context of temperature protection. I hope Busardo will be able to explain YiHi's decision because I remain totally confused as to their choice.

does anyone know of any vendors that still have the black base with the silver face in stock? I was going to order it yesterday from eciggity but for some reason I didn't and today they are sold out they only have the silver on silver left in stock

Honest Vapor just put a few up on their site, YiHi SX Mini M Class and still have the Silver/Black and Silver/Grey in stock. Honest is a very reliable, long-established vendor and is run by super nice owners. I ordered mine in the morning and it went out that afternoon.

Just got the m class and loving it. I'm having a issue though with the Kanger occ ni200 coils. On my rdna it reads the coil usually around 0.22 and I usually run it 420 and 28 watts. On the sxmini it hits much weaker and less warm even at settings such as 500 and 50 joules. What's going on here? Everything I've read says that the sx is more warm then the rdna.

did you pair the mod to the atty? ie hold up down button until it said what your resistance was
when you paired the mod to the atty were both cool or was the mod firing shortly before?
also what setting is the mod in? soft, standard, powerful or powerful+
