I'm curious about trying out the Atlantis Ni200 replacement coils. While I shelved my two Atlantis tanks for my Goblin and Goliath tanks, they are still great tanks, and if the TC coils work well, that may be an "on the go" option for me.

Im using the vct tank with nickel coils and it vapes amazingly and the ohms have held consistent now for four days so i would suspect the atlantis ones would be similar, i also have some sub tank nickel coils coming will update when i have a chance to test them.

I actually enjoy building with hardened ni 200. My best coils have been with 30g.

My bad then.

I rewick weekly or twice a month. I use the moment to recoil too because it's easier than trying to clean and reuse the old one. They become brittle in time.

One thing it is a lot easier to wrap a 7 wrap coil once a week then wrapping a 10-15 wrap and have it work right for about 3 hours before you tear it out. I can deal with once a week.

Never had a coil last only 3 hours. No matter what material. I rip them out when I'm bored. Same with wicks but I don't vape gunky juices. I had a coil/wick last 272ml and 45 days.

I assume you are referring to a nickel build? Other than being bored, do you change it because of change in taste? My builds have a weird change in taste after a few weeks.

im enjoying my subtank mini with ni200 but im looking for suggestions on other tanks with rebuildable bases that offer more airflow and better flavor. so far i have the lemo 2 and delta 2 in my sights. can anyone offer some pros/cons when compared to the subtank mini?

I have both the the Subtank Mini, Lemo 2 and Delta 2. The Lemo 2 is the best out of all of them for flavor IMO. The Delta 2 has slightly more air flow than the Lemo 2. The Delta 2 also goes through juice faster than the Lemo 2, but both go through juice faster than the Subtank Mini.

The Subtank Mini and the Delta 2 are similar in the way you fill. The Lemo 2 has a fill port at the top that doesn't require you to unscrew anything. The Lemo 2 is also the easiest to clean out of the three. The Delta 2 doesn't come apart. Only the base and the drip tip are removable. Every single piece of the Lemo 2 comes apart and come apart the easiest out of all 3.

The Subtank and the Delta 2 can use pre made coils (Subtank has ni200 OCC as well). The Lemo 2 is RTA only.

I regularly use the Delta 2 and the Subtank Mini also and agree with you on them. I like them both and also have a Lemo 2 on the way. The Subtank Mini NI200 prebuilt coils are not bad but on the Delta 2 I just use the RBA and I think I enjoy the flavor a bit more on it. I also use the RBA on the Subtank Mini.

awesome info and exactly what i was looking for, thank you. do you have problems leaking with the lemo 2 when filling from the top fill hole? i watched twisted420s vid and that was one of his complaints. leaking is an instant turn off for me. im also eyeing the youde goblin v2.

You're welcome.

Nope mine doesn't leak at all. When you fill, make sure the airflow on the bottom is closed off. Do not fill the tank all the way. You want about 10% of the glass to be empty. See pic.

It should. Although I when I asked a few pages back I saw someone post they are getting 22k Joules out of a 25r. I have consistently been getting 24k Joules or more out of my VTC4s and that's not even with a full drain. I have some 25rs coming in the mail tomorrow so it will be interesting to see what I get with that.

I'm sure different resistances play a big factor into this due to the amount of voltage being used.

do more joules equate to battery efficiency or something like that? i've been confused about this feature for a while and i have a device coming in later this week

Look at it like an odometer on a car and how much distance you have traveled. It is how much power you have consumed from the battery. It is a compilation of all your consumption based on time usage so the more you get the more power your battery has dished out to you.

I guess I will see if the second batch from YiHi has a humm too.

Mine is factory date 4-4-15 which i believe would be 2nd batch and the humming is nothing more than the temp control working if you listen while the fire button is pressed and watch your temp on the screen the humming gets louder when the temp is rising. I believe this to be a non issue, i think since the device is of such great quality people are trying to find something wrong i mean i cant hear it unless its up to my ear when firing. Just my opinion.

The only way it would bother me is if I remove my ear and attach it to the device so that I can hear it every time I vape. Otherwise, the sound does not exist.
