[QUOTE="JimScotty0, post: 15755061, member: 187391" The price is right but I would like to see some reviews before I take a plunge at it to use on the SXM. I just wonder if there is anything specific in the design of the tank in regards to TC outside of the coil itself.

[/QUOTE]

Thats the question! What distinguishes this in terms of it being a TC tank compared to an Atlantis/Atlantis 2 with the VS/Aspire Ni200 heads for example? There are Ni heads that fit the VCT and the Gimlet I think - both similar to this one...I think its just another 'sub-ohm' tank that take premade Ni coils..nothing more, nothing less. If it had a novel 510 pin arrangement that is more solid and ensures good contact between the coil and the mod then that would be something but doesnt look liek thats the case...Does look nice though!

Also remember that SMOK are the people who gave us the m80 non-TC mod fiasco...!

W.. What? Really? That sucks. not as you were asking their trading secrets or anything... :| bummer.

Regards
Tony

Yes it sure is. But like some here, I think YiHI thought I was a competitor? No idea why but I think I scared them a little. Again, no idea why. Hehe, maybe they just don't want to let too much out for now. I can understand that with all these clones. But they should have at least answered the USB charging question. I really do not have time for this but as I have their attention, I will ask that USB question again and press on it a little.

He lied... sorry for me being off topic....

Oh I don't think it's "off topic" discussing the credibility of one of the top reviewers in the industry IMO is very on topic for any thread. As many look to those reviewers prior to making their purchase's.

Personally I'm not going to call anyone a liar unless I can substantiate that claim. Without "Going against ECF Policies" can you substantiate your statement? Current and future consumers should certainly be aware if they can trust the reviewer they are watching or not.

Yes I can substantiate this.... but this is the wrong thread....you know the thread ....maybe you like the term miss-spoke better...

It's really not a matter of my preference in terminology, liar, mis-spoke, dishonest, fibber as they all represent the credibility of an individual. And no I don't know of a thread. Perhaps there should be a specific thread for "Views on Reviewer" Please link the thread.

Hope I did not cause an argument. Politics in vaping is something we all should shun away from. What we all want to hear is ways of improving our wonderful M Class's. That is what I come here for.

For the past three days I have had the best experience with my M Class. Now I have found a way to get my kayfun V4s to work (That was interesting) I have finnaly been able to play around. And this is such a cool device. It accually is working for me as I have only had one stinkie today and that is a 20 year old reco9rd for me.

It does not seem to matter what OHMs I use, the results seem the same with my kayfun. 4, 5, 6 and 7 wraps seem very simular. I am finding it take around half a tank before I can put the temps up. And I am finding from 13 to 18 Joules perfect as I ramp up. One build lasted a day and a half. I really wanted it to burn so i could test another build. Hehe, how this stuff gets to you.

Anyway, lovin my M Class. Will order that black one when it comes out as I need two. I also noticed that some of my cells are making my vape muted. I need to play around but I think the cells may well indeed play a part here.

Good stuff all

Not at all Papapro, Yihi's reluctance to provide you information and my comment on Pbusardo's comments on Evolv's reluctance to divulge information is pretty common place for most business's IMO. I see no argument anywhere but I do wish to see evidence when someone says that a top reviewer "Lied" about business practices. Makes me wonder "if that's the case" what else would they Lie about and how credible they are. After all I think the majority of current and future vapors depend on these reviewers to make informed purchasing decisions. Retird went MIA after posting that so IDK what thread or proof he has of such statements.

Yes from a vaping experience It's very consistent regardless of what Ohm range you prefer. Just makes for a easy set it and forget it setup.

I am confused what is all the talk about a reviewer. What happened and with who. Went back a few pages and didn't see what it was all about. What I am liking so well about the M is it is easy for me to duplicate my results to hit my sweet spot with it and my coils last a week or better. I love the way you can adjust it to your taste and how easy it is to build a coil for. I am using only Kanger STM and have had nothing but excellent results with it plus it is easy to place the coil. I have the opportunity right now to buy one of the new black ones which I already have 1 of but I'm thinking that 2 are enough now that I can duplicate the coil and switch tanks any time for different flavors. I was going to wait for PB's review before I bought but after reading all the success on this forum I jumped in. So what's the be controversy with a reviewer about?

Well, phil has a lot of fanboys and in the past people have felt their wrath for catching phil in, if not intentional lies, let's call them mistruths.

We know what phil said is wrong because we heard about it in the same way he would have or could have heard about it. I personally knew about it and wrote about it here just after launch, and I knew exactly what it was and what it did before launch.

At any rate there's no excuse for phil not understanding it by the time of his official review, so he blew it bigtime on that no matter how you slice it.

YiHi just told me they are not alloud to tell me any technical questions. Here is what they said.

Dear Richard,

I have checked with our engineer. But Really sorry that this is refer to our technical. So we cannot tell you about. Hope your understanding.

Kind regards!

W.. What? Really? That sucks. not as you were asking their trading secrets or anything... :| bummer.

It does suck. I can understand though in some respect. After all Evolv didn't even let Pbusardo know about "Refinement" initially and he considers them to be friends.

Not factual.....but this is the wrong thread for that discussion...

From the horses mouth at 32:45

He lied... sorry for me being off topic....

Well I am a PB fanboy so to speak but I didn't think the review that was so long awaited for did it justice. First and foremost for me was always using 40-50J. I have never turned either one of mine above 25J. I did like the technical things but I didn't wait for the review to come out to get this. I did wait till I got an answer from him by email that said if you have the money get it. I don't know about the lying thing but I haven't actually seen a good review of this device yet. For me it works pefectly everytime with a .08 build at 410 degrees and 18-20J. The flavor is what I am going for and that is what I get at that setting as I am sure that all of you have found your personal sweet spot with these. Everyone is different. I just enjoy vaping this device and having to change the coil once a week is a small price to pay to have a vape like this produces. Also I might say I have one right now that needs to be recoiled but by kicking it up to 20J or 23J I still get a great vape from it.. I am not into hot vapes, big clouds but I am into the flavor and this gives it to me.

Right behind you...
I don't see why you're so bummed about him using high joule settings, I really don't. I like being at 30w-40 watts/joules on a Kayfun just as well as on a much airier Subtank or Lemo 2, because I like a lot of surface area and that means more coil and that takes more power to get where I want it quickly after I start drawing. Like you said, sweet spots.

And this ain't Kanthal, where power settings are everything. With a TC mod, Yihi or Evolv, power settings pretty much just dictate how fast it comes up to temp. Which may not mean much to the 0.065 zealots out there with just a few wraps that don't need much power to heat, but for those of us that prefer more wraps and higher ohms (and attys that can move between Evolv and Yihi devices without rebuilding), mo' powa is where it's at.

And I envy you guys that can go a week or more on a coil, I'm replacing mine daily/every 15ml or so because I can taste it getting worse, and it's less hassle and more consistent to just build a new coil and wick than it is to try and clean and re-wick an old, brittle coil and hope for the best.
