Ya know, now that I think about it, I was wrong. We really don't know what exactly are ANY Norms in Ti Profile on this thing as the Firmware "Ain't Right". I am running the L2 (Dan's Fave ;)) loaded with Ti on the Ni200 Profile at 20J & 275* F. By accepted common Practice, when applying that way, as prescribed by the Ti Masters before there even was a Ti Test Firmware,,,, We are supposed to lower the Temp by around 100* & the Joules by around 10. So, given those tweaked Parameters and Practice, if the FW was acting "right", that would be an equivalent of @30J & 375* F if running in a properly functioning Ti Profile.

I don't need to lower the joules just the TP

Only set up have needed more than 20j was a dual in the Zephyrus .... settled for 30j in the end

Single coils Ni or Ti under 8 wraps with 26awg 17j is enough for me all day with 14j my morning starting point to give my throat a chance

But as always , everyone's mileage will vary

Does anyone have a problem with screen off center?
Mine is a little off and top part is 2-3mm away from the housing while bottom sits flush.
Is there a way to align the screen properly if I open the device?

Not really will need to get your vendor to exchange your device

The screen is board mounted and board is secured by screws

The holes are not elongated so there is no wiggle room

I just got my black on black SX Mini. This one does something that my others don't. It gives me the dry coil alert and the option to turn off the tilt sensor . I'm assuming this one has newer firmware than my other 2. Is this a correct assumption?

Tapped From My LG G4

Take the battery cap off, then replace whilst holding down the fire button

This will then display the firmware, you likely have 2.2

Hey I was wondering what do you have to do with the new YiHi sleeves when you change the battery. Do you roll up the bottom side or what. It looks like it partially covers the cap is that right?
I just loosen up the cap and when unthreaded I push aside the silicone and let the weight of the battery push out the cap and battery.

Found some pictures...
From them I see that the board is held by screws and look like there's nothing to be done.
Is it possible that the display is wrongly mounted in its plastic case?
I don't think that I'll be able to exchange device at my vendor's.
This is already the second one I've got in exchange, since the paint fell off from the first one in 10 days :(
On this one it lasted 25 days... so I've took it apart and wrap carbon sticker around the sleeve :)

Ok I want to have this straight before I do it. I will have my Ti tomorrow and will install a coil on Monday. Plan on using a Kanger STM since that is all I have anymore with 26awg Unkamen going to go for 5 wraps 3mm. I am planning on running the torch over it real fast before I wrap it, Not even going to shoot for any color show. Then wrap it and place it. I should then pulse it a couple of times at 5J or 5w which is best? Then wick it. Is that all correct? Wick it wet it finish putting the tank together, put it on the SX setting it on Ti mode at first set the resistance and set it for about 375 15J and start working my way up till I start getting a good vape. Does that all sound correct. I don't have good internet where I am going all the time so I want to make sure about this before I go I might not be able to check later. If this doesn't work then Ni mode about 280 and 15J. Sound like a plan???? Oh and my coil should come out in the .23-.26 range???

I'm totally new to temp control and I just got an SX Mini M Class a couple days ago. I've been playing around with it non stop and I have to say I'm blown away by the temperature control features. It's truly amazing! Been using my Subtank mini and Delta II both with the RBA heads and 28g tempered Ni200. Been trying with different builds but so far every one has worked great. I've been experimenting with different temp control settings and finally found my sweet spots for each tank. My vape is always just the right temperature and I don't get dry hits no matter what. I was really skeptical about TC but now after getting and using my SX Mini M I am a true believer and convert. Won't be going back to VW if I can use TC.

Looks right to me. I don't Dry Pulse and haven't seen or experienced any issues other than it takes a few Wet Fires once rocking to settle in Flavor-wise but that may not be attributed to the lack of Dry Pulsing.
I would suggest starting out at 17.5 Joules right out the chute.
Also, starting the Ti out on a 3mm Mandrel may be a tad big (but may not). Remember, Ti (even the Unkamen which supposedly is partially annealed-I believe that by how it wraps) is "springy" so the I.D. will naturally increase probably around .25 mm. I start on a 3/32" (2.38mm) Bit which ends up around 2.65. 3mm may yield larger than you want. Maybe not. Up to you but your Resistance will grow accordingly. I get right at 0.23 using 26ga on the 3/32-2.38mm Bit with a 5 Wrap. If you want the 0.23 ohm, use the 3/32". If using the Kuro 2.5mm you will probably end up with a 2.75mm I.D. or close to it and around 0.285 ohm.

Other than those Points, your Plans look solid and should be a great way to christen yourself on the Ti Bandwagon. Vape Strong and Prosper.

BTW,,,, AntMan Rocks. Great Movie. Even for non-Marvel Geeks (the Wife is definitely Not and really liked it).

I was previously torching the Ti wire before wrapping the coil but the last few times I've just taken an old dripper, put the wire in one side, made one big loop and put it in the other side. Turned it to 600F, 16w (DNA40, not sure where to try it at on a SX350J), and pulse it. The first time will release a slight puff of smoke and 4 to 6 pulses later and it's a nice even blue tint. It's so much easier than torching the wire.

This technique was previously mentioned here on ECF (sorry, on my phone and can't search at the moment to give credit) at least once if not multiple times, but it totally works if done in TP mode. I tried it a while ago at low watts in power mode but took it past blue easily. If nobody posts a pic by the time I get home, I'll upload one for you.

Yeah, you can still use it in Joules mode, just has no added benefit. I'll be using it for strictly cloud chasing with builds capable of 120W+ in power mode though. More curious about installation than anything, I think I did it right, but the instructions aren't the best.
I use it for the increased battery life.

I bought a silicone case from Ginger and I am having the slippage problem every time I put it in my pocket and then take it back out I always have to re adjust it. Gets annoying after awhile. The sleeve that you have is that the authentic yihi sleeve? I know there was a few generics made which I think mine is and then there was authentic yihi versions.
Stick some double sided garment tape on the mod then work the silicone sleeve on. I get zero slippage.

Do you put the battery wrapped battery in the SX, or the tube? I have been putting it in the mod.
I've actually not been using the wraps at all. I'm just careful about changing my batteries. I have two married 18650's, so there aren't enough wraps to go around anyhow lol.

Yeah I just used scotch brand double sided tape and once I got the sleeve pulled into place I rolled it up a little put a little piece on each side about 1/2" up, rolled it down and no more slipping at all. I had Jwraps on all mine so if I get the new ones I'll see how the tape comes off.
