Has anyone heard anything about YiHi upgrading their firmware. It would be nice of them to at least update us hardcore SXM users with something.

Nope,,, Nada. Apparently, they did not get the Memo about the TPS Reports being due :D

And he's not worried about burning his lungs or throat. I'd be afraid of catching on fire.
It is more like a weapon. I would be more worried about losing his 2 Jewels rather than the additional Joules after that puff! lol

you know what? I was looking forward to the dna200 but instead I am buying yet another sx mini. it is all I want in a mod. take out the battery is a must for me. I am not waiting for something to charge while I am jonesing for my nic_fix! I just wish they would fix the paint issue. I just sand them and mirror polish them. looks better than paint anyways. man I love this thing. no other mod offers me tc with powerful+ just a darn awesome vape. okay I am a fanboy. I speak my mind. look at the sigelei 75 watt thread. I pretty much called it out as trash. quite the contrary with the sx mini. china can make very high quality if you pay the right price. people shop at Walmart and then bash china. not fair to them.

I am a fiend though. I have a .1 coil at 46j 520f and powerful+ lol. that is all I need though. I do not need to go higher that is my sweet spot so no 200 watts for me right now. I would gather most people think I am already very hot on that coil.

meanwhile to tell the truth I have my legs crossed waiting for the 350j vapor flask. that, should be my ultimate mod. for the record I have things like variant and otto carter but the sx mini is the only one I use. who knows, when I get my hands on the flask I may still prefer the mini. quality.

Yep, that's breathing fire to me. ;)

While I find the 'flask' (dual 18650 powered 350J) interesting, I'm actually considering a 'Boxer' as my next purchase. (then again the recently purchased 4S might satisfy my dual 18650 YiHi lust for now)

The Sigelei 150TC sure felt good in the hand....... (sigh)

(count me with those waiting for YiHi to release a firmware update)

    Problems continue.........
I am still battling this l lemo2 or SXMM OR NICKEL. Put on a new coil 6 wraps, 3mm, 28g ni200. The first resistance I set was .08. Close to what I thought. I vaped for a few minutes set at 400f & 12j. Then raised temp up & joules. All the way to 450f. Next I set down mod for awhile & checked resistance again. This time it was all the way up to .10. Set resistance & vaped. There was vapor but not like it should be & flavor was zero. Anyway, I vaped just to see if I could maybe break coil in or something. Checked resistance before I went to bed. It was back down to .084. This morning right off the bat I checked resistance & it was at 0.10. Then waited a bit & it was at a 0.9. Anyway I set resistance & vaped. Vapor was coming out but no flavor. I set temp to 450 and started playing with joules. Which didn't make a difference. From 7j to 20j temp hit 450 within 2 seconds. The same thing happened last night with joules. I was going really low joules & even at 460,475. It would hit temp within 2 seconds. This is exactly what happened with last coil. It would read around .2 difference. Now if it was .02 I would understand. So I am not sure if it is Lemo, SXMM or just my coil, which I know it is tight. The very first build I did on lemo2 was around a .1ohm. The whole time I used that coil over the next week it always read between .107--.111. So I know everything was working with this set up at one point. I don't have another TC mod so I can't check that. Any thing I can check?

The Lemo 2 relies on the pin in the AFC base being pushed into contact with the center pin of the build deck. Spring-loaded 510 connectors may not have the resistance necessary to make the connection a good one. To test if this is the issue, use a 510-Ego adapter. If it is an issue, it may be corrected by pounding the 510 pin of the AFC base (e.g., with a rubber mallet, heavy book) to reseat the pin within the insulator.

Ok, now let's start the two month countdown to when I post this answer yet again. ;)
So I just need a male 510 to ego thread adapter & then just screw it on as connector & see if there is a difference in performance?

Sounds more like issues with the Lemo 2 than the SXM to me. Someone mentioned screws you can buy from Amazon that you can use with the Lemo 2 to better grip the nickel wires (if you're using the post holes, that's a big no no). Flavor problems otherwise are usually do to bad wicking. With the Lemo 2, the best wicking is one where the wick sort of ends just about where the wick ports are. Also fanning the end of the wick helps too. There's videos on YouTube that explain how to do it.

I think it might be the pins not making a good connect I don't have an ego right now so trying to research about this. I THINK wicking is fine. I have been using Lemo 2 with Kanthal before this & haven't really had wicking issues. I did leave a part out in my saga. Last night before I went to bed after vaping pretty much tasteless vapor trying to get it to work. I set it down. After a few minutes I picked it up & it was like someone flipped a switch. Flavorful Vape & vapor. I thought finally!! Went to bed. This morning though back to all the problems again.

The Lemo2 on a SXM is my main setup, I've ran 28-32AWG (plus 30 or 32awg twisted) on it and ALWAYS use the post holes - never an issue.

Sure just like most anything - tighten to much and you'll break something - in this case the wire and have to start over again. I did that once or twice on each gauge until I learned how much is 'enough'.

The low point resistance of just about every tank I own fluxuates on all 4 TC mods - including the SXM. Sometimes its enough to effect the quality of the vape, other times not.

While one reviewer berated the Limo2's multiple chain center pin connections, it is no more than any other RTA which has the option of store bought coils or a removable RBA. The same reviewer complained about the length of the center pin specifically when used with the SXM.

On my Lemo2 clones (actually labeled Lemo3) I had to remove the center pin and PINCH the end that makes contact inside the Lemo body a few times with pliers to elongate it enough for it to make contact! (both my clones failed to fire because of to short center pins) Once elongated a bit the firing issue was gone which left the other issues with the clones.

Here's one of them outfitted with dual Ni200 coils:

(note that I'm using the seemingly dreaded wire pinch holes like I always do)

I have to run nearly 100F lower on this build otherwise it overwhelms me with vape. 0.11 ohms, 2x10 wraps of 30AWG Ni200. (I'm glad I have some low nic juice mixed up for this one!)

Just a thought I assume you are using spaced coil, I made the mistake of using touching coils first time.
Only problems I have had with L2 is getting the thing apart, used vice grips and left no marks really good quality stainless.
Atm using Ti 0.2 ohm 20J 280F in Ni mode, its cool but tasty.
