Perry also stated that they will as always have 2 versions, one for the M Class the other for the J Chip. They use a different Logo so they will not work between the both chipsets. I wonder if they will release both at the same time or delay the J chip version as they have done in the past.

Just posted by Perry on FB...

Folks a final version for the M Class software will be released very shortly. You can pick Ni200, Ti, or set your own wire TCR and use say SS. Then when you synch your coil you have an option to set a temp offset in degrees C ...

If they are supporting TCR adjustments that will be awesome!

I was just lurking in the radius thread and wondering if they will have temp control and adjustable tcr to prize my M classes from my mits

Now they can .... my lovely kiss

Another M Class will be added to my collection

I'll believe it when I see it.

I was also thinking about buying the Radius but if Yihi follows through with this update I'm picking up another M class.

The Radius will not have TC. at least for now. I think it will be quite some time before Provape will get into the TC game. I'll keep following Yihi as love their technology.

Definitely a huge kudos to Yihi for going the extra mile after sales and providing an update for on device TCR. IMO they sold the SXmini M at 60W / 120W with support for Ni200 in Temp Limiting mode nothing more, everything else is just icing on the cake.

It will sure help take the edge off of the poor paint job. :thumb:

I have been following this thread for a while. I even spent my 2 cents here and there. Every since I got my Sx mini, I have been pleased. Even when the rumor of no more updates was introduced. The device is solid and the paint still looks as good as when I bought my 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. They can update or chose not too. I'm not a TC fan so it wouldn't bother me one way or another. But I am happy for you that like TC and the fact Yihi will still be updating this great mod

if you have a sxm-m this will be great. especially if your paint is good. I found you can dial the escribe just like the sxm-m. it can do a lot. sxm-ml seems like a stopgap for them and probably same zinc housing from the looks of it. if you are in the market for something new and not set on sxm there are dna boxes galore. I do not mean to be a jerk and I am not quite bashing it. the sxm-m is really nice honestly. save for some's paint jobs. to be honest my hana was anodized over scratches! nothing is perfect. just get what you like. that is all that matters. I would not really buy a mod based on it's cosmetics but on it's functionality.

however, this update will be very welcome to those that already own an sxm-m. including myself. ruined paint and all.

I have a question as stupid as it may be. you guys speak of tcr as if it were one setting? in escribe it is a number of settings afaik. you can change many properties of the coil. I do not see how that could be in one setting? sorry I am so stupid.

With metals your right the resistance curve as the wire heats is not linear & one setting will not work across all temp ranges

It will how ever work at the average final user temp

Does Escibe allow you to plot variable TCR curves ?

I use the TCR in SXK devices that works really well especially for their price, they fall short though with the light switch style control

If Yihi can add TCR with an update :thumb:
