Thank you..this is very informative..now I have a much smoother vape thanks to this..the only thing annoying me is the spitting though

I think that is generally due to the atty or coil being used. If your using a rebuildable try making your wick a little tighter in the coil and see if that helps.

I don't know Vlad1, I use the pop and spit to know when I have my coil stuffed tight enough. But they do sell drip tips with spit back traps. Actually the Aqua Fx I have been playing with has it built into the coil chamber cap.

i.e. If it ain't spitting and popping it just doesn't have enough wick stuffed into the coil to make good thermal contact with the coil. For me it is a "Catch 22".

IDK, usually when mine's spitting at me I add more wick material and it seems to help. Whatever works for each of us with our specific toppers and coils I guess.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about my M Class, it's been great since day one. But lately, my vaping habits have turned to the lower ohm, thicker wires (24ga, claptons, etc) coil building. And, of course, the need for more power. Actually, what I need it's not so much more power but battery life.
I've been eyeballing a couple of the latest devices out there like the Snow Wolf 200 (not really sure about TC performance) or the Reauleaux DNA 200 (don't like the idea of having to use a PC to set things).
I remember reading something about Yihi working on a device that'll offer an option to Evolve DNA 200 chips, also remember it should be release by now... Any updates on that? I need a new device right now.

Are you thinking of the Cloudmaker Whiteout that designed a enclosure to use either board? Not sure exactly what your referring to but I doubt Yihi would do anything with Evolv boards. Yihi makes about 30-40 different boards much better quality than what Evolv offers IMO, so if anything I would expect them to use their own boards exclusively in any of their devices.

If you want to stick with the same reliability and performance on the M don't forget it's capable of 150W with dual battery so unless you're needing to exceed that with your builds you could go with a battery extension or a custom dual build like the Renegade X or Boxer with a SX350j board. I've seen the Renegades are on sale now that the new ML class has been released links below.

On a budget you might look into the Reuleaux RX200, lot of power and battery capacity and can be found for under $50 + batteries
Wismec Reuleaux RX200 by Jaybo - Joyetech Wismec - Electronic Mods

Extension Tube $29.95
SXmini Mod Extension Tube

Hydro dipped $160 to $180
150W SXmini J

And the DIY Renegade kit at $120
J-Box Renegade Kit - J Chip Temp Limiting - Complete kit

I recall reading that Yihi was working on a new chip similar to the more sophisticated DNA200 but it is estimated to come around April of 2016. Seems Yihi will update their ML SXi-Q to allow for a custom screen soon.

OK - I can't stand not knowing what is wrong with the RX200?

Well..if it's anything like the chip they use in the VTC mini, Pbusardo's review revealed how inaccurate it is. He said it needs some "tweaking". But the error margin displayed on his graphs was significant to say the least. In some cases the device missed the temperature it is supposed to hit by 50 degrees

Guys I can really use some help here. I know this will sound stupid to the guys and gals with TC experience here but I wrapped 5 spaced wraps of SS 316 hoping to have a resistance of 0.06 ohms. But it comes down at 0.38 ohms which exceeds the upper threshold of the TC resistance of the M class. It's starting to get frustrating and I really wanna try this thing before I go to bed.

Relax. I've TC vaped +2.0 ohm coils on my M class. Granted you may not get the full rated output power but in the builds I was using, 10-15W/J was all that was needed.

My SS430 builds are pushing 1.0 ohms and Ti +0.3 ohms.

I know I know but it's so cheap I've seen it as low as $43. From what I've heard from someone who got one of each it is not even built like the DNA200 model It's cheap.
Totally not true. I have both. The boxes are exactly the same construction. The screen, chip, and battery sled are the only difference's.

It's not that there is anything wrong with them I heard they are off a little on the temps but what the hell for that price. Just don't quite understand why Wismec quit making the DNA200. It was the only one that used 18650's. But from all that I have read and the reviews that I have read a lot of the DNA200's are not made very well either. Not the chip but the mod itself. Well there is one other that uses 18650's. GT how is it in Ti mode as far as temp setting and do you have control of the power as well when you set the temp or does it take charge of that. There is getting to be quite a few, I see Vapor Flask is making one too.
