Not sure if it's customary for J-Wraps to include two full sets when you order the dual-tone carbon fiber wrap for the Mini, but that's what they sent me. And so, I quickly decided to go with the ever-popular racing stripes look:
... which leaves me with another full wrap for the gray when it arrives:

Next, I will be petitioning YiHi to change this mod's name to "SSmini!"

Buddy of mine had an SS just like that one when we were 17/18. Only took a couple trips around the block to fill it up with cute, giggly girls. He would've lost the title in a street race against a local Nova if parents on both racing teams hadn't intervened. Ahh, the days... Sigh.

Yeah, I don't like the looks at all of the extra battery tube, yikes!

I took another approach with a minimalist wrap.
It came with cut outs for the Front - but this "kind" of gives it a more "zero" style look imho
Didn't fit perfect but I like the look

USPS sunday delivery for First Class? awesome... wasn't expecting it til monday but for whatever reason USPS delivered it today.

So far this thing is sweet! I was expecting quality based on the comments here but wow- the fit and finish is really nice...
510 threads looks SS or at least its not a pot metal.
Hoping one of you braver vapers is able to take one apart....tempted to try but not happening yet.

I've had the Mini for about a week now. It's very comfortable in hand, and the fire button works extremely well - either hand, thumb or index. Just about everything meets or exceeds my expectation.
So far the 1st improvement I wish it gets: gravity sensor is optional, while all settings can be adjusted by the buttons (as default)
I think the joule record is very useful, it tells battery capacity in a way.

Does this chip have step down capabilities? Any suggestions as to a good vendor in the US to purchase one from?

I was reading at the French forum this morning... YiHi stated that there will be a completed charge indicator included with the next upgrade file...
EDIT: I don't know how it will be implemented.. Perhaps the lightening bolt will flash? I really have no use for it, but others have been requesting it. As I posted before, I seem to get longer run time using my XTAR VP1 charger..

Yes, it has step down which works very well... The SXmini also delivers consistent power until the battery is drained..
I just received my SXmini today, haven't vapid her yet, since my Hobo has a nickel build. So far i'm liking the overall size. What I've noticed about many of the photo's here.. almost all have the white SXmini logo on the gray/black section. Mine is missing the logo which is really nice! I must have lucked out with my purchase from varitube.com
Yeah, I got mine from varitube and didn't get the big logo, either. And I like it that way.
I recently picked up a P3 from the classies so now I can compare these side by side. Don't get me wrong - this post isn't intended to rag on Provape and I like the P3. But dang I expected a bit more. I think my expectations were completely ruined by the Mini. I still consider the P3 an upgrade from my DNA 30 clone I was using with the KFL+ because it handles step down and I don't build the KFL to sub-ohm. Also whiz bang safety features, build quality, etc. However, the Mini remains the go to favorite mod by a mile. So glad I nabbed a Mini. Only downside I have found so far is that it made me like my new P3 less. lol.
