Right behind you...
I realize this is the sxmini threads, but, I'm trying to switch the entire stable to TC, to limit rebuilds, and quite honestly I really prefer the vape I get from it. Ive seen THE sx350j chip, which, to my knowledge is the only yihi chip with TC, does anyone know of a mod on the market yet with it?

Not due out until March. There is, however, a DNA40 clone out now that seems to have working TC. Check the Vapor Flask clone thread. If it's in a VF clone, it'll be in other clones before too much longer.

Phil Bursardo has a teaser video up. I am looking forward to the full review.

I will undoubtedly be laying down the cash for Mini #2 when the TC version lands. My biggest gripe right now is with the finish since it's rubbing off in several places - a minor juice spill took a good bit of it off. This is not good honestly and something they need to fix. Other than that I'm still rocking my grey no-logo unit daily and it's working like a champ.

Mine is starting to get a bit of finish wear as well which doesn't please me. I don't typically baby my mods but I do with the SX Mini. I carry it on the daily but have been very careful about only putting it in an empty pocket.

As soon as Vapor Skinz drops a clear carbon fiber wrap for the SX Mini, I'm all over it.

Interestingly, it seems that 3FVape is also taking orders for a rDNA40 clone with TC.

You can add almost any Kayfun accessory to the Silverplay. I have a KF Bell cap on the way from FT which I plan on putting on my Silverplay.....

Awesome news, my mini is alive again :rickroll:

I think I scared it into working again, as just bought a IPV mini this morning to tie me over till I could get the sx mini sorted

I put a battery in the sx mini this morning, and same thing was stuck on the firmware screen, left the battery in and went and did a few things, came back to the mini and the screen was off (left battery in for hours since the problem and screen has just stayed on) so I press the fire button and nothing, so now I think it is really dead, but no it was just off, 5 clicks and it is kicking again, been vaping on it for the last 10 minutes and no problems so far :D

I am concerned the problem will come back, but no more usb charging for it anymore, it is a bit of a pain to get the batteries in and out and concerned of cross threading the battery cap, but still think it was the usb charging that messed it up, or the only thing other thing I can think of, is juice has got to the fire switch and made it stick, which I am hoping that is not the case, as always going to get a little bit of juice/condensation leakage at some point, been using the Aqua V2 on it and for me that atty does not leak, but time will tell.

really? i don't baby my first one at all- it has been in and out of every pocket i have. dropped and tossed around in the car many times. it still looks new- maybe a couple of micro scratches but nothing has removed the dark gray finish. spilled lots of juice on it,also. wonder if some have a different coating than others? my second is too new to tell if it will last the same. i will know soon enough- i don't get mods to show as museum pieces, all mine are working tools that earn their keep. please keep us posted for any changes in the finish- looks like i may get a jwrap after all.....

All of my mods are usually ridden hard and put up wet. But, I'd never paid nearly 2 bills for one either. I'm sure once the newness wears off (figuratively and perhaps literally), I'll likely not care. But, until then, I'd like to keep it in as nice a condition as possible given the circumstance of daily carry.

Yikes! When I questioned the durability of the finish in my review I was mainly referring to some banged up looking Mini's I have seen, like the one Candy Mccane reviewed. While she didn't focus on that at all, I was shocked by how beat up her Mini looked and wished she would have elaborated on how all the scratches and dings happened.

That being said, the finish on mine is holding up fine, its not wearing out in any spots ... perhaps I have a more delicate ph balance in my sweat glands that you burly dudes?

Hey dems86 - just noticed the Sacramento CA location...all my family live out there in Sac and Woodland. Any good B&M vape shops out there for when I visit?
Yeah, I frequent Planet of the Vapes off Fair Oaks Blvd. in Carmichael, and their location of 65th Street, Sacramento. They have a location downtown on J Street, and one in Roseville.

There are a couple others that I've heard good things about, but POTV is my local B&M of choice.

I wish they would just make a plain SS "sleeve". A smooth or lightly brushed finish would contrast in a nice subtle way with the textured chassis IMO. I imagine someone will start making some great customizations to these soon. Right Nikki? Come on, we know you must have something in mind!

 Don't encourage me and my excessive ways DP2Raja! I have considered making a customized wrap for mine, but I need to decide if I will get another one. I have no justification for another though, I received 4 new regulated devices this week alone .. but somehow I can't stop pining for a new one so I can wrap it

I agree that some new finishes would be great :)
