For being color blind, you are very good. The one on the right has strong green in it. The one on the left might as well be B&W. And I just checked one of my blue Samsung 25R and one green and they are both three pronged tops. :)

I don't only see B&W colors just get mixed up so I wasn't sure with a small patch.

LG does have some green ones. My Sony and Panasonics are old but they're 3 prong for green ones.

Mash here.

It looks like the shop owner did what he was supposed to do--warn the customer about battery safety and sell the batteries with a case.
Yes - that shop owner even has his customers sign something. Smart! I left another reply but it looks like she was carrying her child so the mod/pen had to likely be in her purse as well - I doubt the mod was in her hand

Ok I looked at it again.

Okay the left one does mostly have a very slight greenish color to it (has some slight brown mixed in too). The darker area especially center slightly right has a slight blue hue to it (very faint as well). That rib on the side near the positive post is sort of brownish. But there is really very little color there at all and if you can see something other than B&W being color blind that is very good. :)

Traffic signals are arranged in order that even a color blind guy will know what it means. But the toughest one is that dang single flashing light at an intersection (without any other lights). They are either flashing yellow or red. Can you tell whether it is yellow or red?

No problem with yellow and red that I know of. Blue, green, red.
Eye Dr was frustrating me with those dot tests, "Did you know you're colorblind?" "Yes and these tests are really annoying."
Actually only seeing black and white is rare.
Blood trailing I'm on my hands and knees whether in brown leaves or green grass. I mainly look for sparkles of wet. My friend walks along at a fast pace.
A ruby/emerald/sapphire in a pile of emeralds/sapphires/rubies would go unnoticed unless I was trying to find it, I can tell you what rings have rubies, sapphires or emeralds.
I might say something is one color and someone else tells me it's a different color.

You know I was just going to post, then your post showed up. I was going to say now the one on the left is starting to look more brown than green. Maybe it is the lighting here, I don't know.

I was told by some medical authority that one is either 100% color blind or 100% can see color. I believed this until the following below.

Oh... I know about those DOT physicals. Been through a few of them. Going to a physician who does them all of the time was always quick and easy. Although once and I forgot why I went there for DOT, didn't know anything about a DOT physical, but agreed to do it anyway. But he didn't do anything and put the job totally on his nurse. I felt sorry for her because she had to study all of the rules and do all of the tests. And I might be the one of only DOT physical they ever see in their lifetime.

And I felt really sorry for that nurse as I think she must have spent a few sleepless nights preparing for this test. She ran me through the test by the book like the first time she ever did it. Which I am sure it was. Anyway one of the tests was the color test. She made up this 2x3 white poster board with like a bunch of 2 inches of yarn taped to it. It had like 20 different colors of yarn taped to it, all numbered.

She ran through each one and I was telling her each color. I got somewhere like number 15th and I said purple. I swear it was as purple as purple can get. She said wrong, it's blue! She started again. Of course, the same result. She started a third time and I am thinking she can't tell the difference between purple and blue. So this time I lied and said blue and I passed.

This and other later examples I no longer buy the 100% color blind or not theory. As I have seen evidence of people having various degrees of color blindness.

It's those evil vape pens.

Btw- I just decided to now double wrap a scrunchie around my batt case while out and about.
That's smart - Once or twice I was horrified that the case somehow opened. My purse is super organized (I'm .... I know) so they did not fall out and I now put my case or two in a fabric pouch.

My garage opener used to go off all the time and I have a plastic case that sometimes opens so I started use a scrunchie for that --they come in handy and they are back in style!

Wonder if they had been left in a hot car for awhile? Florida is hot this time of year. Heck, half of the country is hot right now. Don't leave your batteries, your mod, or your cell phone in a hot car. Not saying she did, but it's a possibility.
I thought of that, too with the high heat.

I skimmed through all the posts and I was confused because she said the vape pen exploded and not the batteries in the case --- or the pen exploded and then batteries in the case? Or the batteries just exploded? Where was the mod, then? So, did she have the mod --which you are are saying was a wismec in her bag.

If she was carrying her child as the article states- chances are that her pen/mod was in her purse --so I was just wondering if that first exploded first or if maybe the battery case opened and the batteries were loose. That did happen to me once --that the battery cover came loose and opened - so now I keep them in a plastic case and the plastic case in a small zip fabric case

Look, in any case, it's awful. I just would like to know exactly.

I found this, (source Woman says vape pen battery exploded, leaving her with serious burns)

"According to the mother, the pen exploded in a bag that was strapped around her shoulder while she was carrying her toddler. The battery shot through her bag and hit her aunt in the face, leaving both of them with second-degree burns.

Hernandez showed News Channel 8 her burned clothing and medical release papers from Florida Hospital.

“I thought I was being safe. I didn't think it would happen to me,” Hernandez said.

“Batteries themselves store a tremendous amount of power, so they need to be treated carefully and with respect,” Synychak said.

Hernandez wants the incident to serve as a warning to others who deal with the lithium batteries used in vape pens.

“There got to be a safer way,” Hernandez said.

It’s still unclear which company manufactured the batteries because the labeling had melted off. "

It's only a matter of time until something like this happens on a plane and causes a major problem.

If you vape you do not really want to live all that long anyway.

I think her toddler caught fire.

Interesting, Tampa Vapor only lists Sony VTC4, Samsung 25R and Panasonic NCR-B on their site for 18650s. I think those are all 3 prong tops. They show burned 4 prong.

Something, a lot of things, are not adding up.
After seeing the media shooting a watermelon with a shotgun claiming it was an AR-15 I wouldn't put it passed them to be using stock video of burned batteries claiming they're the actual ones.

That's not how CB works Bill. Other than the rare B&W case (as said) a lack/change in the rods & cones causes a gap in color vision with a shift of some or all of the spectrum filling in (it's too varied for me to give a lay explanation, I never looked into it. no pun intended).
It's not a black and white view, but rather... offset. There are explanations online, with color image examples. Fascinating, TBH.

And I see both cells here as Sammy green. The blue you cite looks to be a shadow/soot effect.
Given your anecdote... perhaps you have a slight offset in the blue/violet range. ;)

Easiest way to have it explained is to take a dot test.
I can see hints of numbers but I'm really guessing, they don't really stand out to me, except the test plate everyone can see.

Well you obvious know more about this than I, so I stand corrected. ;)

That's good for testing for it.
But for explaining what you and others see... example images created with shifted color spectrums and gaps are what is needed.
How true to life accurate they are, obviously I can't say. But it gives an eye opening view (there I go again [emoji14] ) into the visual world of the "color blind".

I take it from your "blood trail tracking" comment that you hunt quite a lot... maybe make that first shot count more often, eh?
