To my great surprise, my 3ml Dual Coil Liquinator got here yesterday, and it had shipped on the 30th - that's what I call good service! :thumb:
It works great - even better than my MAP tanks - no dry hits, no tilting to prime the wicking, no gurgling, no flooding, you can lay it on its side without it leaking - in short, it just works as advertised. Something tells me I'll be selling my tank collection soon... ;)
In fact, it works so well, that after firing it up I immediately ordered the 5ml shell so I can upgrade it to use with the boatload of steel megadualies I have - naturally, I also ordered 3 pre-cut megadualies to get started with. :D
This is one tank mod I just can't recommend enough - if you like dual coil cartos and tanks, this one's a must have! :)

if royalties were to be given and was sitting on the Patent Board of Appeals then imeo and emonty would get my vote as to being the original product designers....it is the poor man's GG AVS/AFS with a cart......read for yourself and decide

I get what you're saying, but I think the fact that none of these have patents (that I know of) makes the point about royalties moot. It's a new and fast moving industry and nearly every product we see is built upon the ideas of [many] others. It would be nearly impossible to determine the 'original' idea. That said, I also know the Liquinator's maker and he's a little too honest for his own good, so I have no concern that he intentionally copied anyone else's work.

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. I'm definitely going to be getting one of the dual coil tanks for my next purchase. :)

Standard size is best if you're using the standard 3ml tank. If you want to use longer ones (like the dual coils), you should consider getting the dual coil tank-- it's longer.

Here's a post on why:

Page 3: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-o-matic-liquinator-v4-1-a-3.html#post3261495

Basically, the 3ml tank is designed to start and stop at a certain point. But... if you are using a longer than normal cartomizer on the 3ml tank, it still works. Just make your cut higher up on the carto and you should be fine.
Mine are the same size, jsut saying, love them, wouldn't change a thing, havn't "bumped my head" on the size but the single DC i ordered is the same size as the reg ones i ordered before,

the point was Wylie IF there are those who publicly claim ownership of an idea they would do well themselves to give credit where credit is due instead of disingenuously dissing others -IF this was a patent case, which it is not, the product design history and development would most definitely be brought into evidence. In the least, "theoretically" the relationship between the AVS/AFS with a cart and the liquinator are identical. Being that in fact that this indeed be the case, this is not a bad reflection on Liquinator designers, who in my opinion had the creativeness to capitalize a simple principle and theory and bring it to us in a low cost vehicle.

The only regret that the first to market with this design had to be Texans...

I was actually agreeing with you. You mentioned royalties and my mind went to monetary royalties which led me to patents. I was just saying it would be tough to trace the ideas because they aren't really direct clones.

The Liquinator was probably inspired by one or more tank systems, even if subconsciously. I agreed on that earlier. But I think it's a pretty safe bet they (like I) had never heard or seen one of this particular tank mod. If it were directly inspired by that specific tank, I would be surprised.

In closing, what I'm really trying to say is God Bless Texas.

Happy 4th weekend :)

As far as the 'stolen ideas' I have to chime in, just saw the comments on youtube.
I work in an industry that is very small, sort of like e-cigs...small and relatively new so there are always new things coming out to make our jobs (in this case vaping) easier. 'This tool' comes out and always someone steps up 'but so and so is doing this'..ok sure but 'so and so' and 'who else' didn't protect their 'how'. Even the end products are very similar a lot, I've had many many 'new' ideas only to see them posted or for sale by someone else before I even get a chance to sell or show mine...if i posted the same time it doesn't mean I copied, it means it just happens sometimes.

If I had 5.00 for every time someone called 'copy' I would not be posting from my computer, I would be posting via an ipad on the beach somewhere.

~Now, I finally have my accounts in order, go to order and I see only option is white? :( I have issues with white lol.
