warranty...no. contacted the company my orings were shot from one tube clean my tank cracked in 8 min and everytime i tried to use my 30 dollar liquinator I was sucking hot e juice like a straw. I got the J-tank from electronicstix.com.......it is embarrasing the difference in quality for 10 bucks less. You usually get what you pay for....but not in this case. The J-tank is so much better built. They are consistently sold out. I got an email that they were back in stock and got home from work 4 hours later and they were sold out again. the next email I got I hopped on right away and was lucky enough to get one. Tank vaping on 5V haas been flawless ever since

I have started a list in the general forum, but it got buried due to lack of responses. I'm going to go find it and bump it up with this info. I added this info. http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...-juices-flavors-crack-tanks-cesd-clearos.html

There should be a list/database on exactly what juices from where are shattering tanks. I've been using Elixirliquid's RY4 without problems, but that first fill was a little nerve-wracking and I'm still paranoid about cracks.

Here is the email I sent them with these pictures-
Recently I ordered a liquinator from you and this is what happened. I am using it with a 5v Big Kazoo and seem to be just sucking up e juice like a straw no matter if 100% VG or a mix. I am completely lost on what I need to do to fix my problem here is some pictures of my tank and orings.

Thanks,

Cody

This was their response-
Well Cody your rings are destroyed and your tank is cracked. If the Liquinator is not airtight it just will not work. You will need replacement parts.

James

Ah, cool. You should promote that more, I'm sure there are lots of juices that have cracked tanks that haven't been reported.

J-Tank all the way guys

I have both, actually. Have to have a backup for when one breaks.

I started this list on the general forum, and I am putting it here as well. My aim is to compile a list of juice and flavorings that may cause potential problems as far as cracking polycarbonate tanks. Anything listed here may cause your tank to crack. I just ordered 3' of polycarbonate tubing. I am going to cut the tubing and use it in my tanks to try out some questionable flavors. This way, I won't be upset if I crack one, but I'll have an answer on some of these variables.

Some of these are premixed juices, some are flavorings that DIY'ers use. So far we have:

Sour flavors
Malic acid
Citrus acid
Cinnamon like "atomic cinnamon" types, not warm cinnamon like cinnamon coffe cake, this is okay
Any wintergreen juice or flavoring
TPA ripe banana flavoring
TPA honeysuckle flavoring
TPA maraschino cherry flavoring
TPA cherry blossom flavoring
Mrs. T's strawberry shortcake
KBV Hummingbird nectar

With so many folks using tanks nowadays, let's all contribute here!! Please add your experiences, and I will add them to the list. I'll be keeping a comprehensive list at home in a separate file, and someday, maybe we can find a way to make it a sticky thread.

Loaded up my first Resurrector tonight and I'm digging it. And the jig & punch set I got from Vapor Age works great. It punches the holes higher up on the carto but I just slid the Liquinator up some and it works fine. Was a little worried about the holes being too small but it seems to be wicking properly.

How does that work. What comes with the jig & punch set?
I looked on site. Does it come with that box with the holes and the metal spike?

Getting a new slotted / drilled carto to wick properly:

This is rather tricky for me, it has to be just right.

What I do is, fill the tank about 1/3 of the way with the carto already inserted, then seal the tank so that the underside of the atty is flush with the bottom side of the tank (so only the atty threading is sticking out).

Then, attach the tank to your PV like normal.

Now, CAREFULLY push the tank down or up until there is a small gap between the top of your PV and the bottom of the tank. The gap should be big enough to slip a standard paperclip into, no more or less than that.

Now, take the mouthpiece off the carto and put three drops in the top of the carto around the sides. Think of it like a clock, put one drop in the 4'oclock position, one in the 8'oclock position and another at the 12'oclock position.

Now, put your drip tip on and seal the drip tip with your lips and (without activating your PV), blow outward for less than a second (as if you were blowing bubbles using only the air in your mouth - do NOT blow from your lungs, just a brief 'push' of air). The goal here is to get the 3 drops to absorb a bit in the wicking material.

Now, without activating your PV, again seal the drip tip with your lips and suck inward as if you are drinking from a straw, enough to 'imagine' your mouth filling with liquid (but in this case, it will fill with air). We aren't breathing air, just sucking EXACTLY like a straw.

If it is extremely hard to suck inward, unscrew the tank from your PV just slightly (maybe 1/8 or less of a turn) and see if that helps. Some older PVs do not have air holes positioned correctly and a small handful of atties are flawed in the same way.

Do this 3 times.

The tank only keeps the atty 'just wet enough' to make it function, but it actually keeps it much drier than you might think when it is functioning correctly.

Take a drag (activate your PV and take a hit). If it works correctly after doing the above, lucky you (but you might have to repeat the above two or three times for continued success).

If it doesn't, repeat the above steps once or twice more, usually I can get a new atty going after 2-3 times of repeating the above steps.

You should not plan to go out anywhere with a brand new atty until you are damn sure it works. You certainly dont want to be fiddling with your PV in public (there are laws against that sort of thing).

Hope this helps.

Oh, and be careful about cutting holes to big on the atty - flooding the atty will cause problems too...
