I use 3ohm boges between 4.7-5.0 volts on my provari. When i ordered the liquinators, i got a few preslotted cartos as well. Those worked much better, i got several days out of them, and as you said the taste got muted over time but they never tasted burnt. I don't have a dremel nor a saw capable of cutting steel, so i've got to punch my cartos. Not sure what i'm doing wrong tho. I've watched a few videos about punching cartos and theyre techniques are pretty much similar to mine.

I punch mine too, 2 holes. I use to do it with a sharp nail and hammer, but then I got a punch and jig set that works perfect.

Is your juice really thick? I also read where someone said an air bubble kept forming over their hole, causing a dry, burnt tasting hit. It's really hard to guess at tho...Wish I had better answers for you!

I really appreciate your effort, thank you. I've been using Vermillion River's liquids, they're 70/30 pg/vg, so they're not really thick. Guess i'll have to just get used to switching cartos daily. It's not about the money, 'cos they're dirt cheap. It's just the extra fuzz with all the punching and switching, wish that they'd last at least few days. Would a third hole help with wicking? Gotta try that and i'll have to try to be more careful with the punching, maybe i'm destroying something on the inside atm.

Just got some ressurectors. I have read that they only need 1 punched hole, correct? Also, do you need to prime it by adding drops into the filler?

I remember Chief and someone else who use the Resurrectors said to only punch one hole .. I havent tried them yet so I dont know.

I have the same problem that Vanttila has, I'm lucky if I can get 5-6 ml thru a Boge without it clogging up (which then causes a burnt taste because the carto doesnt have any juice in it).

I also use 808 cartomizers with a 510 adapter, those cartos work much better for me and they last me a lot longer, must be the difference in the filler is all I can figure.

I've been following that thread, too. We'll see. He's using a different material than polycarbonate, so that should be interesting. Right now, I'm making my own tanks for .60 each, can't beat that!

Are any of you guys the Buzz Tank from NotCigs? It's got a screw that locks the carto into place that can also be removed to fill it up with a syringe.

Im using 808's with an adapter also. They do work great, but I now want a 510 cart to use. I just need to find one that works just as good as the 808's.

I'm getting at least a week out of my Boge sr's. I get a drop in flavor, not burning. I DIY my own juice, so I prefer mostly clear fruity juice. Hubby's barely last a day using his kalua and coffee juice from JuicyVapor. I think the juice is his problem. His carto gets so tight, you can't get a draw. No burnt taste here, though...

I've always loved the 808 carto's, I think they have a looser filler than the Boge's .. or something is just different about them. I think they vape better, last longer and the taste is great. I havent found a 510 that is as good as the 808's yet, but I havent tried the Resurrectors yet but they are next on my list to try.

Unfortunately I vape a dark juice too, so I know that's part of my problem. But with an 808 carto instead of a 510 I can get 2-3 days before the 808 clogs up .. but with a Boge 510 I'm lucky to get one whole day.

Just want to pop in, long ago I said that I was going to try ce2's in the liquinator, it's been since first week of August and still on the same one! I like the tanks, I just don't like cartos and went through way too many too fast, so if anyone is out there like myself and prefer ce2, the ce2s taste like day one in these and don't clog up like cartos.
..only thing i have to use regular in my 5.5 phat and they are hard to come by as everyone carries the XL it seems
