I think you are right. Bluemist has the option for 180ml and with extra flavoring it is a little over $30 before shipping. But I must say, Bluemist scares me after seeing the video review of the "Crab juice" http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo.../181697-crab-juice-review-bluemistvaping.html

I hot-swapped my cartomizer today because it was starting to produce less vapor. Man, what a difference! It's so subtle over time that you lose track. The flavor, the vapor... I'm in heaven!
I must've run 15 or 20 tanks through that poor cartomizer (been running it since 6/17). Maybe I should clean my tank, too? Nah... it's perfectly seasoned now!

Glad you're taking the plunge. I have used all-VG, 80/20 PG/VG and 80/20 VG/PG. They're all good. The all-VG takes a little longer to prime (just a bit) from my experience because it's considerably thicker. But after a minute or two it's a vapor machine. The higher PG ratio works just as well, though. I haven't seen it leaking with its lower viscosity.
I've run all of them from a range of 3.3v (sucks with a standard resistance carto) to 6.0v (a bit high for my taste). I really can't seem to break it. The only problem I had was running some RY4 (which is great by the way) at high voltage and two different times I got the slight burnt taste that I couldn't get rid of.

I see that Vaporescence has their 5ml tanks available now. Just waiting until tomorrow to order me some. I made one with some polycarbonate tubing that I already had and the end caps fit nicely. Now just waiting 24 hours for my bank to update......sigh..........
for the last 6-7 months I've been vaping almost exclusively 36mg 100% VG unflavored juice on Joye 510 attys on the eGo 900mah batteries
since having the Provari, I've found that the same Joye 510s I was dripping at 36mg were best at 4.4V on the Provari, but the 36mg I was used to was a bit steep at that higher voltage -- monster throat hit
so I figured I'd go for flavor a while and got some 6mg juice (and my first MAP tank)
when it arrived I threw some 6mg Caramel Cappuccino from KickBass in the tank -- and while the flavor was UNBELIEVABLE (you can imagine after so long of vaping unflavored), again at higher voltages the throat hit was there to be sure, but it seemed any extra flavor was mostly from the juice being overcooked than anything else
so even with the lower nic juice I've still found 4.3-4.7V to be a good zone
anyway that's my setup -- pretty much everything at 4.4V on the Provari -- I even tore the top off an eGo mega B carto so I could fit it on the Provari -- despite the higher ohms (I think), 4.4V still seemed best
I've enjoyed the MAP tank (not having to constantly drip), but I'm on the fence about the CE2s, so I'm really looking forward to trying the 510 cartos in the liquinator -- I used a few 510 cartos like six months ago but I found that after a few hours they started getting dry, and I was dripping into them almost as often as the carts... so what's the point
hopefully this liquinator mod will take care of that -- which after reading everything you and a few others have said sounds like it's the case
sorry for so much detail, but I'm trying to get the best vape I can, so I figure the more detail the better
so: Provari @ 4.4V, around 50/50 juices at 6-18mg

I use a small plastic tubing cutter...basically a pipe cutter designed for plastic pipe. I just turn a few turns, tighten down, turn a few turns, tighten down until it cuts through.

Dont be afraid, they make the crab juice as a joke flavor.
While it isnt the BEST tasting eliquid (you DO get what you pay for), it does the job and for those on a budget, its a great solution.
Now, on to the reason I am posting, I ran into my first snag with the tank. I dont know what I am doing wrong here.
I have 15 precut / slotted cartos I ordered from vapor essence.
I decided today to try for the first time since I recd the tank (12 days on the same carto) to try another carto so I pulled one out of the baggy, slipped it into the empty tank, filled the tank and sealed it with the carto, attached it to my Provari, pulled the drip tip off and put it 3-5 drops of elqiuid into the top where the mouthpiece goes to prime it (the same liquid Ive been using on the old carto), took a drag and it is burnt. That weird polyfill burning flavor you get when the carto is dry.
I tried a few inhales without pushing my button to see if I could get some of the liquid up into the carto, no luck, its not working (still burning). I tried 3 cartos they sent to me (again, all precut) and had the exact same results.
So, its fine for now that it is working with this one carto but ...., if I cant get this thing to work with other precut cartos, Im going to be disappointed.
And it isnt like I cut the cartos, they were precut so they should be working (and I tried 3 different cartos as well).
For now, I have a sad face...

...Let's see what juice/voltage combo you're using. I'm using medium-thick all-VG and 6v, so here's how I start a new cartomizer:
1. Insert carto half way and fill tank.
2. Prime the carto with about 4 drops.
3. Let it sit for about 30 seconds. (I'm usually impatient and wait about 5)
4. Fire very shortly at 3.7v. (It's usually dry with a tiny burnt poly flavor)
5. Prime again with 4 more drops. (I don't want to saturate the poly, just prime it)
6. Fire a few more time at 3.7v for short bursts.
Then I'm good. I don't have any all-6v devices at this time, so I'm not sure if the 3.7 part is necessary. It's just my ritual. I imagine short bursts at 6v would have the same effect. Also, it wouldn't kill the liquintor if you added even more drops of juice, just don't overfill it.

Another poster in another thread recently had the same problem (burned filler) with the same hardware; the fix is to ensure the filler is saturated before firing up the works. I'm into overkill: I put the Liquinator/carto/juice combination together, set it aside and let capillary action do its thing for a good half-an-hour.
why not just fill the carto the way you would normally, then give it a quick spin on a lanyard to suck most of the juice back out -- THEN stick it in the tank

FWIW I put my carto in from the bottom, push almost all the way up, fill up my syringe with juice and insert needle at an angle into the tank, fill tank to the top and then insert syringe into the inside of the carto (along the side wall) and fill also. I have yet to get a burnt taste and have used 100% vg down to 70/30 pg/vg mix.

It will work fine. Once it works, though, don't get obsessed with keeping the fill saturated.
the polyfill does need to be saturated for it to work properly, different juices move at different speed thru the polyfill, I fill my tank up with the method they use in the video, then drip fill the carto til its nice and "slurpy" looking so I don't have to wait for capilary action to take place. BTW im using 100%VG without any problems, no burnt flavor, nothing, get that carto nice and wet at first, the tank will keep it nice and wet from then on.
I am not a carto person so this question may seem very basic. So far, my liquinator worked flawlessly with the original carto.
After 6 days and about 25 ml of juice, the carto started to run very wet with hardly any vaper production so I swapped it out with a new one-SR ordered with the liquinators and got back to my original flavor and plumes of vapor. I run these on a ProVari at 4.7 v with an apple/watermelon blend of 75/15 PG/VG.
Is this typical for a carto? Is it worth trying to clean them or should I just toss it? There are lots of methods out there.
I see that Greenhouse One sells them for about a $1/each but in black. I had an old black carto laying around and stripped the covering off very quickly with some goo-off. It measured 9.2 mm which is the same as the ones supplied. Has anyone tried the Greenhouse One cartos on the Liquinator?
Based on my experience so far, I am really impressed with the liquinator and will probably order 2 more.

I get about 7-10 great days out of a carto. The last one I ran about 12 and it was about 3 days too long, I think.
Some on this thread do clean cartos and I tried it a few times. I figured they're cheap enough that my time was more valuable. Same with cutting my own. I've cut about a dozen (mostly for others), but I've decided I'd rather pay $2.50/week as long as someone else is doing the work.
I've not tried the Greenhouse cartos.
