What do you mean do better? I have seen a test with a temperature probe and the DNA200 was accurate. I don't have the device so maybe there is another issue?

SS TC is extremely smooth on the Hohm Wrecker G2, is it choppy on the dna?

I don't really know much about the new feature but I haven't had any issues with ss430 and what little experience I had with ss317l.

I've been using different ss wires since the DNA200's came out and I can say it is spikey and even drops out of accuracy often.
Ive used it on many different atty's as well.
I'm back on power mode until the new update

In my experience it's smooth on all my devices capable of ss tc (a DNA 200, several Joyetech/Wismec/Eleaf devices). Perhaps others are doing it wrong, or are more discerning than me?

I haven't had any issues with SS430 on any of my devices either but it's the best (available) for TC, 317L can definitely be problematic for some devices since it has the lowest TCR of the common grades available.

I'm pretty sure the lower the TCR the more 'pulsey' the vape will be, 317L being the worst and SS410 being the best.

Other than being a fixed menu option on many modern TC mods I don't see any reason to use SS317L over SS430 outside of possibly having a larger range of AWG selection. (I think many of us got our SS430 in ONE size)

I want some SS410 in 26 gauge, while I love SS430 it is a bit fragile once heated to a glow.

Yeah, not sure if the SS410 vendor I was looking at is going to pan out or what. Last time we spoke he said he was talking to the mill and was getting either 22 or 24-32 in even gauges but that there was apparently some difficulty involved. Even told me that if I knew of a mill that would make it for him he would buy it and get it listed asap. Unfortunately I don't know anything about all that aside from wanting to try it. I just assumed he could get it from any old place or who ever he buys the rest of his stuff from.

Ya I've been loving my 430ss just wish I could find it in smaller gauges. The 28 28 Clapton I have been using is great but I would like more options.

I would be wrapping the ss430 with 34 gauge Kanthal, just one option.
Maybe you 're doing dual core ss, not sure what you mean by 28 28.
