New to TC, can nife48 28awg work on dicodes dani extreme v2+?

Do I slap on a 6 wrap or a 7 wrap on a 2.4 diameter? Spaced or non space?

What would be the setting for this wire on the dicodes?

6 wrap 2.4mm?
7 wraps 2.4mm?

Do I pulse it?
Set the coefficient at 400 area. I pulse mine, I treat it just as if it's Kanthal.
I do contact coils.
I set up the coil using another mod without TC or TC turned off.
The coefficient can be found here, just click on desired wire: http://www.zivipf.com/DIY/Resistance-heating-wire/NiFe48
Or here: Wire wizard

Thank you. Which wire type do I select on the device menu when i switch it to TC mode? there is wire620(NI200), wire440(Tung/wo), wire350(titan), wire 320(other), wire 320(nife30), wire 105(inox).

This is the first time seeing the attached chart, how about posting a link to it?

Hello guys, been busy and really happy with NiFe48 from Zivipf.de since day 1 it arrived...

After so many months it seems I didn't miss anything regarding TC vaping except the fact that many use SS430 wire...

I am pretty happy with NiFe48, should I order some SS430 or I'll regret it?

Anyone who uses both? Differences?

* I've made a perfect kanthal build recently for a mod without TC and the throat hit was stronger on the same watts, better vape from NiFe48 but I'm now used to have temperature protection and I'm confused again so I returned reading my favourite topic in this forum :)

In my mind different wire types equate to ease of use, TCR, resistance and if you can have contact coils or not (or special treatment).

The SS430 most of us purchased (28awg) has zero nickel content. Outside of that feature (and many of us got 200' for 5USD) I personally don't see any advantage or disadvantage to using SS430 over NiFe.

alright did the setup.. Somehow kanthal tastes better :(
Nife48 7 wraps 2.5mm set temp cof to 400.. Am I done here or do I need to set the temperature or power(watts)?

I use 405 on both DNA 200 (as a second choice otherwise TCR) and SX 350 J. Shouldn't matter much.

On my DNA's I set the temp to 450 F, boosting to 460 as taste and/or wick longevity require. 450 F also on the SX. 48-60 Joules, depending.

Since I am now using NiFe 24 awg exclusively on four (Aromamizer's), 3 mm, my resistance has come down substantially to 0.12-0.14 for dual verticals, 9-wraps; and 0.15-0.17 for dual horizontals, 10-wraps. Watts vary from wick break in at 40-42 watts, then 44-48 watts; or near needed wick change as high as 54-60 watts.

My days over 66 watts are deep in the PAST. [emoji41]

I just don't get that wire tastes different. Power/wattage mode vs TC mode I get.
    • Set watts for desired ramp time (I rarely need more than 30W even with dual coils)
    • Set temp for desired vapor output/warmth/flavor
    • Set AFC as desired (tighter can warm vape and/or enrich flavor)
Enjoy. Wire is just that - wire.

It's not the wire that tastes different, it's the way it heats up the liquid...nuances.

It's only noticeable if you have been vaping a liquid long enough to detect small changes in flavor, I wouldn't say one is better than another just slightly different. These slight differences cause a preferential observation to be made.

A couple of you guys summed it up pretty good concerning wire types so I'll not say much except this:
If a coils looks the same (gauge, wraps, spaces/?) on a regulated mod it pretty much vapes the same. (IMO)
SS316/317 (w/TC) are not included in above opinion....LOL
