I took Nikki's advice to heart about the sweet spot. I rebuilt one of them to .6 with 28 on a 3mm mandrel. It's wicked with rayon. It's an absolute beast. The vapor is almost chewy. It's so full of flavor, it's kind of a brain twister. I have it filled with Paramour out of the Artist's Collection. It's almost like chomping on a pear dumpling. Runs well between 25-35 watts.
The other one, I messed up somewhere. It's two strands of twisted 30ga, 3mm mandrel and it's a .3 build. I was shooting for .5 but I think I had something incorrect on steam-engine. Either way, my mod fires down to 0.15 and this one works fine. It's wicked with organic cotton. Filled up with Vapor Trails Orange Creamsicle. It's a hot vape, I have ran it up to 40 and the vapor is nuts, the flavor is okay, but I have to run it at 22ish to keep the temp comfortable. I'm going to rebuild it later tonight with a 3mm 26ga setup.
I finally figured out how to wick it properly and it's paying off very well. I now just adjust wattage to taste.
$30 for the both of these was absolutely the best money I've spent on vaping, if you don't count what I walked out of the store with on my first day. The only problem is that they're super thirsty, lol. I've went through almost 30 ml of Paramour in the last week and probably 15 of Orange Creamsicle.
Thanks to all the posters in here for helping me sliently troubleshoot and tweak.
