I'm anxiously waiting for an aftermarket tank with a Pyrex window. Love the tank; just found the sweet spot today for juice flow with my build/wicking.

I really want the ability to effortlessly monster [what? try: monitor] my juice without a pmma material tank. I drive a lot for work, and would like some way to know when I need to refill.

(Edit: autocorrect unsatisfactory w/ OCD)
Goggling at world from my iPhone

I wonder if they will even offer an after market glass tank considering it's a bell shaped tank. Here's hoping!

Yes. More. The Big White will come out too (just like the previous Aqua). One just needs to be careful in prying it downward. I usually run a very tiny flathead screwdriver around it - between it and the steel casing - a few times while lightly levering it loose. Once BigWhite is out, the main positive assembly (brass base plate + double male threaded connecting rod) will drop out and then you can remove the positive insulator by pushing it upwards from underneath. That little insulator should have an o-ring on it.

I think there's a full breakdown spread in the Authentic Aqua2 thread.

Maybe there's something wonky going on in that 2-piece main positive assembly.

Ok that was very help. Guess I'll needa try that. My guess is that something inside that deck assembly is loose and making poor connections, because I've done a ton of inspection, rebuild and continuity tests, and the issues are always random. :/

Wow. Getting the white piece off is impossible.... I've munched it up with my tiny tiny screw driver

Kiwi....you replied to my post where I put a link to an instructional video on how to mod the Aqua.... but you never bothered to actually watch the video. He shows you how to take everything apart. You just pop out the derelin from the air hole using a mini screwdriver. Here is the link to the video again:

Not sure if you've seen them, but you can get replacement tanks dirt cheap from fasttech.I cant remember if it's a 4 or 5 pack, but it's like $4.50 or so.

I have seen those. I'm giving the SS tanks a whirl to see if my anxiety about juice level is rational or not. Thanks for the heads up.

OH. I think it was someone else who asked about the mod Haha. I'm too clumsy with tools to ever consider modding Anything; chances are I'll end up adding AFC to my fingers behehe. But thanks I'll take a look at the video. I did end up multilated that white piece and the oring underneath.... So I just ordered a new one. :/

ETA: holy. Crap. Now I understand why I destroyed my atty hahahahahahahaha. Thanks for the video. Def should've seen it first.

yea, I couldn't get that stupid insulator out either. don't feel too bad

I wasn't as motivated as you were

As it turns out based on the video, all you had to do was unscrew both posts first, and it just pops out real easy.

Unfortunately being the lazy forumer I am, I didn't watch the video, and i just forced it out. Aka I destroyed the white insulator piece completely.

Moral of the story: don't be an idiot like me.

Good news is, it still vapes ok while I wait for my new one to ship from fasttech. And I now have a ton of spares when this one finally dies haha

I have a Lemo coming on its way, i have a KFL+ V2, i've always wanted a big dripper, and the orchid v4 looked interesting. But THIS...!!
Do you think i should get one, given that the Lemo is on its way? Is it worth it?
If so, which clone should i get? Fasttech is not an option for me, so that leaves me with either a Tobeco clone which i heard is good ($24), and the angelcigs version which i know nothing about ($20). If you have any other suggestions, please be my guest.

The Tobeco is known to be good so I would get that one.

Yes, you need to get one, its awesome. Its better than the Orchid or Kayfun.

I don't know that I've read any bad reviews of any of the Aqua V2 clones. To bad Fasttech isn't an option though, as I can personally say the "OTM", "Authentic", version is about as perfect as it gets.

As far as the Lemo goes, you won't be disappointed with it. Both the Lemo and Aqua V2 produce awesome flavor. I use a Lemo and Aqua V2 daily, and it would be hard for me to say which one is actually better, as I've yet to run the same flavor in them at the same time.

Sorry I'm a bit late, but my Av2s are from Angelcigs. I have the same common little niggles that everyone else seems to have. They needed a bath, the pos. posts needed to be snugged up and the bottoms of the terminal screws needed some filing to keep from cutting my coil leads. Outside of that, they have been fantastic. Whoever is producing the AC version, it has the brushed upper chimney section instead of the polished.

I'm still looking for an o-ring to stop my wobble?

I forgot to mention that in my post above. I had the wobble, also. I just took the fat o-ring out of the spares bag and used that. It's a little bit smaller than the deck, so it's easier to swap out before you coil it up. It really tightened it up. It's almost too tight to adjust, but it doesn't wobble anymore and I swear it's wicking better.
