I like that drip tip! But the link won't go right to it. Maybe they sold out of them, or they were discontinued? Oops, never mind. I see more details after that post.

I do :) .. I love this drip tip, I got it about three weeks ago from FC and this is the first time that I am using it. I removed the clear insulator part though :D http://focalecig.com/Product/B....pcs-510-AcrylicStainless-Steel-Drip-TipSilver-22598

Sometimes I can get it, sometimes it totally eludes me. If push comes to shove, I'll use my wire welder to attach a short piece of 22 gauge NR wire to one leg of the coil, that should be easier to trap under the screw.

I bought it second hand so not an option to ask for help from a vendor. On a brighter note, the new Aqua I bought from Gear Best was fine as far as the negative post goes. The only problem I had with both of my Aquas was too high resistance/voltage drop. This was taken care of by making #7 "seal ring" thinner. It started out being 0.044" (~1.1mm), taking it down to 0.028" (~0.7mm) allowed #9 "counter screw" to be fully tightened yet allowed #5 "middle section" to turn easily with just a little resistance.
I apologize for mixing up the Aqua with the kayfun v4. And thanks for not publically caning me for it! lol Don't know what I was thinking- tells me I need to vape more and post less, I believe... FWIW it HAS been "atomizer repair central" here at the ranch ever since I got my KF v4 and a pair of Aquas delivered on the same day.

My observation is that I actually get more vapor with the spaced coils over the micro-coils. A bit more noise, too, but definitely more vapor, which means that even on a single coil, I went through the juice faster. There is also a flavor difference as well, which is, so far, working out just fine ;)

I totally agree with the spaced coils. You can still get them to heat from the middle out and get a very even distribution of glow. I use 28 ga twisted and shoot for a 0.5 build...that is only 4-5 wraps. Pinching them in to a micro coil leaves little surface area so I just spread them evenly allowing for more surface area to contact the wick/juice. Wonderful vapor and flavor. Love these Aqua 2s!

Fellas fellas! If you're looking for the perfect short stubby wide bore drip tip for the Aqua, this will be perfect. SKU 2103602

It's possibly one of the first true wideeee bore DT I've seen on FT

Thanks Kiwi. I have a couple of wide mouth DTs from FT and they kind of wobble on the Aqua2. Maybe this will solve the wobble.

You might be right nascar...it is not so much additional airflow I need, but low profile and snug fit, the simpler the better.

Thanks for the suggestions from ya both.
dental floss (not used), and teflon tape...have not tried either of those. I'll give them a shot.

I just ordered 11 different DT from FastTech...ONE of those might just fit snug with out any doctoring. I'll know in about 10 days.

Petemoss, I have the one you show on the Aqua. It is great on my Kfun Lite, but I will need to wrap it for the Aqua.

Got my OTM Aqua V2 in and got a build going in it (26ga 1 ohm single coil). First wicking attempt was pretty disastrous. I tried to mimic how petemoss wicked his. Flooded like mad and leaked a bit out of the air hole. Not faulting the wicking method I probably just got something wrong. Just finished my 2nd wicking attempt and it's (so far) a success. Instead of wrapping the two tails of my wick to the two unused juice channels, I took a piece of excess KGD, juiced it and "pasted" it down over the unused air hole (with a screw in) and then jammed two tails into the juice channels. The flavor definitely lives up to the hype. Glad I saw so many posts here recommending the Aqua V2. I may have to order another.

yup. that's the better way to wick a single coil. I havent gone back to the split wick method since. If you're not screwing the cotton down with the screw, try that next.

I wanted to re-wick/dry burn and was all set to suck out the juice with a syringe. But then I found that I could unscrew the tank inverted and keep the juice. I tried to sculpt the new wick tight around the posts. I'm really falling in love with this Aqua2!

Nice wick job Pete! Seriously. I have been inverting the tank when juice is still in and needed a re-wick/dry burn all along. By the way the Rose v2 base is a perfect/stable holder for the Aqua tank while working on the deck and wick.
