How "mini" is it? I've gotten so used to my iStick that I really don't want anything even close to "full sized". I really have my heart set on a Vapor Shark dna 30, but its a bit out of my price range.
the new mini istick 30 and 50 watts are just about releasing so you can have the small form at a cheap price[emoji4]

Got my #441 Shark the other day. Made me realize how much of an impulse buy this really was. I'm not big on cotton/rayon/fiber wicks. Nor do I really do dual coils. This thing seems made for dual fiber wicks only, lol.

At some point I will set it up with mesh. Possibly single wick and plug off the other deck holes. Anyone got some hands-on with this approach? Guess I'll just have to wing it.

From all the reviews and videos i've been checking out on the aqua,it doesn't seem like mesh would work to good in these.Everything i have seen has the wick going down the channels, and i think that would probably be difficult with mesh.As for single coil,i have seen alot of people mention running it that way with no issues, just use the included screw to plug 1 air hole, and then stuff some cotton into the channels on the side where the airhole is blocked.

I have never tried it, but silica can be used as well.

It would seem a little cramped to me for running mesh, but sounds like you may have more experience in that department than I.

Running mine on single coil, and as you say stuffed some rayon in the other channels and have had no issues

I'm running single as well. one thing I've done last two wicks is secure the blocking-wick down with the unused airhole screw. I use japanese cotton, so I just poke a tiny hole in a piece of pad and screw it down.

Finally. After sitting at home for weeks, im finally home with my OEM Aqua v2.

I gotta say, regardless of whether it is REALY from the factory or not, the quality of this is astoundingly good. Got that fancy tin can, all parts are machined extremely nicely.

Got her build up and she's a great vape. Airflow fully opened is sufficient for a restricted lung inhale, good vapor production, warm vape. Big fan.

Only thing I don't quite like about it is that the chamber piece is one unit (similar to the orchid). I much rather something like the kfl or the fogger v4: allows you to screw in the chamber barrel piece first, make sure wick is all nice and tidy before screw everything else on.

I felt the same......But after using this little guy for a few weeks with a number of quick and dirty re-wick jobs, I still only get the thing to dry out when the tank is fully empty. So I'm sold. Plus, I think that a few turns of the tank open and closed serves to loosen any wick-in-channel blockages. But those channels are quite deep, and like its little brother (the v1), one can really stuff the snot out of them. Not recommended, but darn nearly unchokeable nonetheless. To me, the ability to re-wick/re-coil with a full tank as worth the bother of all those imprecise wick stuffages.

Hehe. Quick dirty dual coil at 0.4 ohms. Vaping like a boss

Also... I've been trying to maximize the airflow as much as I possibly can... And for my unit at least, when the airhole is fully expose, the tank section is a wee bit wobbly. Seems like that's the only machining flaw...

OH. Anyone can help answer this? Is there supposed to be only ONE airhole?

So I've been interested in getting a tank style atomizer to use while commuting to and from work, and I've been interested in this one. My question is, is there a definitive "best" clone out there?

The FT OTM and Tobecco are both working great. Haven't heard much about the others.

I have the Ft otm clone and i give it 10 out of 10. I have authentic sophia, Erlkonigin and authentic Kayfun and it feels of the same quality if not better. For the price its just a done deal. I also find it so easy to set up. its very hard to get wrong i think as the channels are so big. Also i find the cotton has not caught tbe threads at all unlike my orchid v4 clones where its a bit more finicky. Anyway I highly recommend this clone and this atty. Also single coil with twisted 30 gauge has been a complete joi and zero leaks with it in use and taken all over the place.
