So if I tell to my greek friend to supply Joye LR atomizers its a good idea, yes guys?

They're consistently good quality, good longevity, and perform consistently well. While not necessarily #1 on everyone's list of favorites, they almost always get an honorable mention among the top few.

Make sure he gets the non-coated version, and maybe stock a few standard resistance for high voltage vapers. I think they'll sell well if he can price them reasonably.

I think it'd also be worth sending Bruce a PM and asking his opinion, and maybe asking who his supplier is.

Bruce's dual coil 510 attys are pretty good, just tried them out.

I'll edit this to say they are excellent, with more in different resistances coming.

I second this. I just got one of Bruce's dual coil attys in the mail yesterday, and they are instantly my new favorite. I might just sell all my Joyes and Chinese unbranded 901's in the classifieds, and replace them with all CoV DC's.

Yea, I have run into a little atomizer and juice supply emergency... So I had to clean old 510s. I boiled, air dried, and then dry burned them. Got a few good 510s and an excellent 901 (thanks Para - awesome atty). The steel Joye 510 coating is coming off now. What surprised me is an old Bauway LR510 is kicking .... in my UFS right now.

Hopefully Bruce will be @Vapercon on Friday and I can get some of those DC atomizers. And fined some other supplies... However, I like to run my UFS setup on an 18350 GGTS, so not sure if batt can run that for any time worthwhile?

CoV dual coil atty

I have to revise my earlier opinion regarding the CoV dual coil atty. The slot cut across the bottom of the positive center bit at the bottom tip of the dual coil atty makes it leak like a sieve in the UFS. All my juice ends up in the collector tank when using my CoV dual coil atty. Plus, at 3.7 volts, my 50/50 mix juices tend to gum up the CoV DC atty much more quickly than the Joyes, since the Joyes' single coil burns hotter than each of the coils in the DC.

The CoV DC atty is nice for direct drip at higher voltages, but not for the UFS and not at 3.7v.

CoV / Vapage hybrid bottom feeder 510 atty

Regarding CoV's hybrid bottom feeder atty, I read in another forum somewhere that these Vapage hybrids have the same sort of channel cut across the bottom as the CoV dual coil atties, and are poor performers in the UFS for the same reason.

Joye LR 510

The Joyes are the best I've tried so far. But since I'm spoiled by the flavor and vapor of direct drip, I'm somewhat underwhelmed by the Joyes in the UFS. So now I'm back to square 1. What is the best atty for the UFS?

What's next?

After re-reading this thread, my curiosity is piqued. I might have to grab a couple of IKV XLR 1.5's to play with.

I need to spend more time trying out attys in the UFS. I do have a Cisco 2.0 atty as well as two boxes of the 1.5 oHm non-coated attys from VaporKings that Blackwater (I believe) turned me on to. Tried one of those in the UFS and really didn't spend enough time with it. Was getting some nasty tasting dry hits and went back to my 1.5 oHm DC that I got from COV and from MadVapes.

I still have about 50 of those bad boys (1.5 DC) on hand but they only last a day of vaping before it's time to toss them. Never believed or had any luck with the whole recycling idea of cartos. My juice is primarily from TastyVapor, COV, and Ms T's and is sweet juice so they gunk up a carto or atty after only a days use.

CoV dual coil atty

I have to revise my earlier opinion regarding the CoV dual coil atty. The CoV DC atty is nice for direct drip at higher voltages, but not for the UFS and not at 3.7v.

I had a similar experience. Both the CoV DC and hybrid atties have a slightly different design to their 510 connector. If you look closely the side holes don't seem to go into the coil area, they go into an internal chamber which is completely open at the bottom and then the air (or juice in the case of the UFS) goes into the slotted opening in the bottom of the atty. Because of this, they don't feed in a consistent manner.

The CoV DC is however probably the best tasting dripping atty I've tried.

I think I've tested about every atty known to man in the UFS, and with pretty thick 100% VG. The one atty which consistently delivers the best taste, TH, vapor and UFS feed performance for my setup (thick 100% VG) is the IKV 1.5 xlr, with the straight up Cisco 1.5 lr coming in second. You would think the Cisco HH .357 would be better, but the fact you shouldn't blow into them is a no go in the UFS (can't blow excess juice into the collector tank without potentially damaging your atty), I find his regular 1.5 lr's to perform better in the UFS.

Agreed for sure. The HH .357 is a great piece of hardware. Yes I broke down and bought what I said I wouldn't. :D

But NOT for the UFS. While the performance is stellar otherwise, my little budget gets the shudders at the idea at how easily they can be damaged. NOt to derail the thread as it's all about 510's but I still am lovin' on my 510-901 stealth adapter with an IKV 901 standard res sittin on top! :thumb:

never thought about that can I even use black one's then?

I use my bulk buy black ones... been using the same 5ohm one for almost 2 months @ 7.4v and the paint has not peeled at all. I would guess the juice you use would be the deciding factor, but I have had no problems with my juices peeling paint on my attys
