How's their durability? I throw mine around a lot - in and out of bags & pockets - and was a bit concerned that they'd scratch easily. Yay or nay?
True to the website's claims as well - I have a couple hairline scratches already and have been pretty careful with them. Just very small so far and hardly noticeable.

It'll probably take a little time before I can definitively comment one way or the other though.

I really like that drip tip, do you mind telling me what it is and where you got it?
It's a ByLeo. A couple pieces.

One is this black Beck Adapter: Beck Adapter Acetal - By Leo

With this STR5 tip on it (clear):
STR 5 Plexiglass - By Leo

And the other is this Beck Adapter (I think): Beck Adapter - By Leo

With this tip on it (black). Again I think this is the right one: STR 5 Acetal - By Leo

I'm 99% sure on the first two. The second - not so much. The Beck Adapter allows the flavor to be a little more concentrated. The bottom bore width is small to concentrate the vapor. The top is still more normal, so you don't get condensation in your mouth all the time like with maybe the Old Russian style that was thin the whole way up... If that makes sense..

Question for you all:

Does the DNA40 board on the BBs have a minimum shut off voltage for batteries?

The reason I ask is I pulled a battery out of my BB4 last night and slapped it into the charger and the meter on the charger said it was sitting at 1.9 V..... I
I was under the impression that it absolutely should shut off at like 3.xx volts. I don't think I've tried going that far down... Maybe this battery I'll see what happens. I think it should have all the same functionality of the DNA 40 (without a micro usb).

And back to how frigging cool the kirinite is. Couple more close up pics of the smoke. Their pictures on the site don't do it justice.

If you look closely, you can see the hairline scratches. But I don't think they'll be a problem at all. (It was absolutely flawless upping opening btw). I plan to rock kirinite approx 50% of the time. :)

And if anyone's on the fence about kirinite.... Just get it!

No minimum shutoff... min input voltage 3.1v

Holicannoli. That's after HOW long?

I'd destroy it. Seriously - it wouldn't stand a chance with me.

On a GOOD note, after all my blabbering (zip it, Kat!), I pulled out my tank tonight and, for the very first time - BONE FLIPPIN' DRY. Go figure.

I DID give the tip an extra TWIST this morning, which supports the idea that it's related to the pressure.

Regarding the 1.9 battery reading, did you check that on a multi-meter by any chance? Because it can't be correct (to the best of MY knowledge).

I can't fathom this at all. 1.9? I agree with DPL on this one and would recommend testing that batt on a good multi-meter.

That just sounds so off to me. :?:

Do you by chance have a Provi to perhaps test it on?

No, your terms seems correct to me. What about it tho....... did you have a concern about the bridge?
Which set up would be best for someone who likes a tighter draw?

Being available, maybe?
Maybe.

That's gotta be it! It has to be it. :)

:p

My scale of tightness would be from tight to looser

Carto
Sophia
Bvc coils with bridge
Sophia v2
Aspire nautilus coils with bridge
Kangaroo with socc coils
Thanks! This is helpful for me too!

I concur with Krisma. The karto will give you the tightest draw, no doubt. But the BVCs are just an excellent next step, so to speak. They are slightly more airy, completely komfy (draw wise, TPuff wise), and just soooooooooooo reliable and delish.

MMMV~
