I got mine the other day. I like the little extra length, just don't care for the stubby tips. Using mine with the Nauti Bridge, it doesn't sit quite flush, but doesn't look too bad.

I'm actually surprised to see that on a 4. One of the things I like best about them is the perfect fit on that version. I hadn't tried it with the Nauti Bridge though, and maybe that's the difference? Do you have a tank with a BVC Bridge in it, just to try?

Was there a sale today? Just curious.

I use the bvc bridge and it sits flush. Haven't tried it with a rebuildable though to see how it fits.

Don't think there was a sale this week, just last week.

Thanks, LD.

I tried the Nauti Bridge but didn't see any difference, so I retain my personal preference for the BVC. I hate futzing with stuff (I'll bet my Ohman thingie never once gets used), and the Nauti was too much work for me.

I just wanna vape it {grunt}.

Yeah for the bridges only tried the bvc, which i have really liked. I have a rebuildable, but coming from using bottom feed mods, which are insanely easy to build/wick, the rebuildables for the billet are like a lot of the tanks which I only fiddle with here and there.

I am half tempted to order a second bvc and another tip today. Can get the bvc coils cheap on fast tech 5.80 or less per box depending on coupons at the time.

My post here is with the BVC bridge. :)

I tried to get a picture of the blemish on this, but I could not focus on it, it is just too small to get a good shot of it, but here is my proof of purchase. :)

Yeah - even Discount Vapers are pretty cheap now (last I checked). $7'ish, maybe?

Thanks, KAS. So it appears to be the Nauti Bridge (kinda bites, but...).

I have a couple other bridges, the comfort(Nauti) I'm using, a Racing Bridge, and the EXO(clone). I'll try them when I need to take this apart to change coils, and try the tip on all of them.
I could try to shorten that top tube a bit as it does stick up above the top of the tank, so the problem is with the bridge I think. Of course it could be something to do with maybe a varying of length of the coil also. I'll check it all out before I try to "fix" it. :)

Is the BVC Bridge, the one that uses the Kanger coils?

This is the Comfort Bridge, with the Nauti mini coil, in the tank.

That amount of overlap is necessary for the drip tip to make contact.

That's what completes the circuit.

I would advise against shaving that off.

I've finally got my second BB rev3 up and running. It had already been converted to a DNA60 but it wasn't performing well.
billet green3 086.jpg

The single lipo wasn't lasting long at all so I changed it for 2 x 16340 batteries.
It ran OK but I found that the batteries where draining while idle.
I removed the DNA60 board and found a few bad joints but even after re soldering these the batteries still drained.
This is with the defective DNA60 with a new face plate and usb working.

I then removed the defective DNA60 board and replaced it with a DNA40 board.

ok. Still seems like a lot of power through a 1Ω coil. Anyway, for the BB if you go to 27g you will get the same heat flux at around 22-23W. Only 6 wraps i think. I can get 8 wraps of 27g in the doggy and the exo so maybe a thinner guage might get you where you want to be!!

I like a hot, dense vape.

I use twisted 28g Kanthal...5/6 wraps at 2.8mm gets you 0.5-0.6

I run that build at 25 watts all day, in every rebuildable I use, BBox or not.

6/7 or 7/8 wraps should get you to the 1 ohm mark...

This setup will give you faster ramp up time than thicker wire, and it definitely gives me a warmer, denser vape with more flavor.

Your mileage may vary!

Man. I've tried 28g and not really hot. I do have 27g inbound. Still getting feeding issues.

Any ideas? Build picture attached.
