Okay, so does anyone have a clue on a vendor selling the Echo-V cartomizers other than NHaler? I'm trading my manual X2 for an auto model for home use and would rather have the Echo cartomizers to go with it. I've yet to be satisfied with anything from them except for a drip tip, but I'll get it from them if I have to.

It's difficult as hell to find too, since there's no standard name for the 808 fat batteries. Vgo, iGo, 808 eGo and Echo are all interchangeable depending on the vendor. No wonder 510's and eGo's are so damn popular.

Let us know, Johnnie. And you may want to hang on to your manual unless you have another manual type battery. You need a manual to dry burn coils clean.

For those who are looking, Discount Vapers has an 808 to ego adapter that has the slot on the 808 side. I won't be carrying it around unless I can fashion some kind of cone/sleeve but for now I'm digging the t3s on my echo battery. Draw is real nice. Better than the x2. I almost can't tell there's an adapter in the way.
I didn't get the 808 to 510 adapter because the ego t3s only have a cone connection. The only other 510 stuff I'm using are sealed attys that can't be used on an auto

Nope, manuals are all gone. I'm going to be grabbing an 808 Gripper soon for a more long-term solution in case everything gets taxed to hell.

And I'm not going to try those clearos, I just pointed them out for anyone who might be interested. I'm pretty sick of clearos. They just require too much fussing with them to get them to work right.

Hey Los! I tend to jump in the deep end with anything I like. ;) I've found with my Echos that if you suck really hard on the LED then it fires until it reaches the cutoff. Not sure if this would work on your stealths, but I don't even need a mirror for dry burns.

Hey Charlz, have you thought of making a grommet for a tank thread cover for your Echo+T3? I'm not sure if it would work well or not, but it's worth trying out.

And I have to give you props once again. I just boiled a couple of my whistle tips , one bent for my future Kuwako and one straight. I shoved a standard cartomizer cap into the bottom of both to tighten up the seal and it worked like a charm. Now I can actually use the whistle tips without holding them. Before they would always pop out of the carto in my mouth.

Seems every bit of modding to the Echo I can do you already did a year ago. ;)

What happened?

I'm sure a grommet would work well. But it would have to be a tight rubbery fit so it may mess with air flow. I cut the bottom half of an echomizer. I believe the measurement was about 3/4 inch. Then I sanded the edge and got in there and rotary sanded the inside until it fit on all my batteries without scratching them.

But the situation is, at least with the t3...you have to adjust the post on the t3 to get contact and that has led to a bit of leakage with a few of them. Now I've got to come up with a better silicone seperator for the bottom or check my collection of center pins. It's ok if I remember to turn it upside down in my pocket. I may have to clean and assemble my t2s to use on the echo battery as they like to be stored upside down more.

I've already thought through the concept of putting a cotton diaper in but once you do that, you have basically turned a clearo into a carto

Anyone ever try Smoktech cartomizers?

I ordered one with my last batch of juice from ECBlend, and it won't fire on my Echo or the X2 without an 808-901 adapter. The air vents at the bottom aren't deep enough. Just wondering if I got an old one, a bad one or if this is typical for the brand.

I got a 2.5 ohm one since I still have had no luck putting a new coil in an Echomizer. Didn't notice much of a difference in the vape, but it is slightly warmer. It's also the first vertical coil I ever tried.

It is typical of certain companies not adapting their product for sealed auto bats. For those of us who've been here, making the switch from vertical coils to horizontal coils was like having a glorious beam of light shine down on us to the tada noise being played on silver trumpets. (Ok, I know....but it was big.)

Smoktech does make horizontal 808s but IDK where to get them anymore.

Oh, I'm not worried about getting more. I just wanted to try out a 2.5 ohm carto for giggles. Since I only had one, I wanted to know whether or not to recommend them to other Volt users. Now I know to tell them to steer clear of them with the autos. Thanks! :D

Honestly, I'm content with the various Echomizers I have. The Echo-V makes the Volt almost as good as the Echo, but the draw is a little tighter. But that seems typical with all of the cartomizers I got from NHaler. And the DCE really makes my Fire and Ice pop. Now if only I could find a mini as good as the Echo for when I need my hands free at work, my vaping life would be complete. :D

Neither works for me lulu, but thank you. Like my friend Los Marauder, I'm an auto only kind of guy. Besides, I need something I can use hands free in a pinch for a good period of time.

I actually just ordered the Sidesho over at Modern Vapor. DawnBella highly recommends it, and she knows minis the way Charlz knows the Echo.

But thank you again, very much. :)

I just got 6 more mini 350 autos from The Vapor Girl. These totaly rock. All 6 work exceptional. much better than the first ones I received. Just as good as my non sealed 650's.

Not just excited over the new vape mail, these realy are great.

The Vapor Girl sent a proper mah charger addapter for each one and 5 free Echomizers. For the price $15.99 each with all the freebies, this is quite a good deal.

I don't recomend them for an all day event. They just don't last that long. But if your gonna have them hanging from your jaw all day like me, it's the way to go.

P. S. my 650's are all headed into retirement. I have used them up. They just don't hold a charge for long, and I don't want to take chances on one blowing on the charger. Wasn't long ago my first one ever went to the great Echo in the sky, and now they all seem to suddenly have developed a due date. I want to get little caskets for each one.

The biggest problem for me is pocket lint. If any clogs the hole, as in actualy is cloging the hole, it wont work as no air is passing threw. If the lint goes inside it works fine, but I don't know how good it is to have lint in the battery. I had a custom holster made from leather done for me that clips on my belt, to keep this from happening, and keep them from geting lost.

There were no tears at the funeral for my Echos, but alot of nice things were said by my daughter on the way to the recycling center.
